In Thamel, we would generally find local made thermals and jackets and are they of good quality to keep us warm..??! Want to also know those branded one's you've mentioned address they available in Thamel

I was planning to go last year but due to Covid-19, current situation i couldn't go. But still in high thinking to go visit. Hopefully soon. Anyways, you mentioned About go pee and 💩 in open places. Nope. By peeing I meant on road trip. There ain't many clean toilets that I got. Parikrama is pretty okay. Not to worry :)
