  • In this video we are installing an aftermarket courtesy light to the front doors of a Mazda 3.
The install can be done in just a few minutes and does not require any wiring or electrical work!
Adding the courtesy lights allow us to see much better when getting in and out of the car in the dark.
These lights are battery operated and use three AAA batteries. The on/off switch mechanism is established by adding a magnet right next to the seat. When the courtesy light comes close to the magnet, the light will turn off and preserve the battery life.

Nice 👌 I'll try to see if they have them at Walmart or O'Reilly's Auto Parts

those are cool, but I think I would DIY them into the door and power them via my existing courtesy light power.

Good detailed instructions. Mine came with the GOBO for Toyota . Do you now if we can get a GOBO for a different brand without purchasing the whole assembly again?

The magnet doesn’t work. If I apply to far from the light. Otherwise, my logo doesn’t show up full. So I don’t do the small magnet. They automatically turn off after few min.
