I feel like the durability of the weapons isn’t that important because it’s extremely easy to acquire a new weapon from a special infected encounter and really cheap to mod. During my experience. I would gain about 3 new weapons for every weapon I broke fighting the special infected, which in turn stacked my inventory.
I always have a weapon with poison + bleed crit mods. Just in case I deal with high hp targets / bosses. It melts them. So they are not as bad as you made them to be.

I absolutely ADORE using inferno and blast mods. Blast goes on sledge hammer. (Because Bang Hammer!) And inferno goes on Sticks (Because Parkour Wizard!) Lmao
8:20 Grip Mod: EMPOWERMENT- as far as 'weight' or 'heaviness' of a weapon, really there are two 'weights': one handed and 2 handed. In dying light 1, yeah weight and really pace at which you can quick hit was a factor in modding or base weapon but not in dying light 2. I find that any sword or machete one hand or 2-the empowerment vs reinforcement, there is no heavy effect, no reduced swing speed. With Korek charm, reinforcement is a waste. Best to always go with Empowerment imo, lol fact based opinion. Dying light/dead island fanatic here 👋👋
I think upgraded reinforcement buffs weapon damage aswell as repairs (I can't recall rn) but if it doesn't then Korbek + literally any other mod just seems... better.

@@ElementlSynd no it doesn't. I noticed that certain one handed weapons are slower then 2 handed weapons for some odd reason but empowerment does not make you slower.
I know vid is months old, anyone aware of more than the 2 grip mods? Knowing techland, we'll get them in a year, I'm sure Ukrainian conflict maaaay effect Techland; it's a Polish company
I read a comment saying there is no need to use double fling mod and one fling is enough because the double fling and the one fling is the same there no difference they deal the same amount of damage so don’t waste a mod slot

That and the Korek Charm works wonders

Im using spark, fire dmg and korek, aka flame and lightning with 50% crit and extra dmg and korek makes weapon never break

Yes since u can reaply korek and weapon never ever breaks and u can add the extra what is it 48 dmg from dmg mod
