I tried ordering a GSG flatpack a few years ago but the shipping was more than the actual box. I ended up just cutting my own mini marty. Instead of spending $600 on a box I think I spent about $100 for MDF.
Yea freight shipping isn't cheap... I've spoken with the owner recently and I believe they've been able to get better rates due to their volume, but it'll always be cheaper doing the work yourself vs buying the flat packs. Just another option though for people without the tools or skills to go full diy.

These kits are pretty awesome. Halfway through the dual 18s. Those 18s will tickle a bit more than the 12s!! 😅
