Honestly, this may be the first RUclips tutorial that’s gotten me this excited. Procreate is just too cool! Thanks for doing this. It’s really fascinating to watch. 👻😄
Just downloaded procreate pocket today and I’m super excited to get started creating on my iPhone! Trying to prove to myself that I don’t need expensive equipment to be creative, so more iPhone tutorials please!! ❤️🙏🏽
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! This tutorial was AMAZING and so great for an absolute beginner. I appreciate how you went over all the steps. Look forward to more.
This is super useful!! Its amazing how clear and informative you are along with the extremely useful video of what exact options you are selecting! Crazy how there isnt any basic tutorial when we enter the app 😂
Thanks, Karin! This tutorial was very well structured and clear. I hope Savage Interactive sees it 😄 I’ve been using Pocket for over a year but I learned a few new things today 👍🏻 I bought a capacitive stylus last year that I really like for my iPhone and my iPad Mini 2. It has a micro fiber mesh tip one one end and a disk one the other. Much easier than using my finger 😊 Also, congratulations on your feature in the Zinnia app ✨💖✨
Wow! This was a great tutorial. You are very good at explaining the features of this app. It was so easy to understand and you covered many important features with such a simple and easy to follow project. Thank you 🙏
I knew this is an old video, but I’m just getting into using the app I downloaded months ago and this was by far the best video tutorial I’ve seen. Even better than the ones I’ve seen for iPad procreate. Thank you.
Thank you for this. This video is just what I'm looking for. I just downloaded procreate pocket on my iPhone and totally no idea how to use it. And I've never used Procreate either so this is very helpful. Looking forward to watch more tutorials for pocket users.
Thank you so much for your super helpful videos. I’m new with procreate pocket ( I know, I’m a bit late joining the band wagon) I thought I knew the basics, your videos taught me so much more. I enjoyed your stylus video from a few years ago. Unfortunately a couple of your recommendations I couldn’t find available. I tried the highly rated Adonit pro 4 and it’s def very nice quality. However, I had trouble with it soon after purchasing. I’ve been using an off brand pen, and surprisingly the differences have been much better. Will you ever make any new 2024/2025 update pocket videos and/or a current recommended pen list ? Thank you, take care, Happy Holidays🎄🎅🏻😊
Thank you so much for this, finally I was able to use my procreate pocket. Wanna learn procreate on iPad but I only have an iPhone so this tutorial really helps.
i cant believe i was actually able to make this one lol.. thank you for the tutorial so little tutorial on working on pocket though i do also have my ipad pro, sometimes its just too big and i use the pocket to learn more about the app while looking at tuts on my ipad lol. anywya thank you pls make more vids on pocket hehe it helps.
Thank you for this tutorial! You're so much more patient when teaching compared to my art teachers in school ❤️ This video has just gotten me interested in art again and you've gained yourself a new subscriber ❤️ Is there a way I can send my art of the ghost you demonstrated to you when I've tried it out?
im completely new to digital drawing and i just got a stylus and am finally able to buy procreate pocket so this is gonna be super helpful!! thank you 🥰
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I thought Procreate Pocket is hard to use and there’s an overwhelming things I need to understand before using it but after watching this tutorial, it calms and ready me to buy this application!
Hi, Great tutorial and easy to follow. I had just purchased the Procreate Pocket v. 4.0.5 and the layout is a bit different from yours. When I'm in Adjustments there is no long list but instead the tools are grouped into color adjustment, blur, effects and retouch. I found the Liquefy tool under Retouch. When I selected Liquefy and Push and Edge, I just get a black line, no pushing the drawing into a shape I want. Is my Procreate defected?
Thanx for my first experience with Procreative Pocket. I made the little ghost, following your steps. Good way to learn what's possible and how to do it. Very helpful. On to the next video...
thanks you so much for this! im a beginner and this helped me so much. and cuz of this tutorial, i just made myself a super cute wallpaper that im absolutely in love with
Hi Karin! I have some questions, but first I want to say Thank you so much for all these amazing informative videos that you are making! My questions are, I do not have an iPad, but I do have my iPhone and want to purchase the Procreate Pocket App. I know the screen is so much smaller on the phone, but since I can't get Procreate on my hp laptop, I want to try Procreate Pocket on my phone. Do you know if it is done in the same way so to speak when it comes to saving art in both an iPad and an iPhone from the app? Will the Art be as high quality when made on the phone as it is on an iPad? What steps would you suggest when using the phone from when an art piece is made to then save it on my laptop and then upload it to let's say Redbubble or Teepublic for Print on Demand? Also, this might sound weird but are the art pieces done when they are done..? Meaning do they need clean up or any type of “fixing” in another app or program like photoshop? I am so hoping that they don’t need clean up as I am wishing for, when it’s done it’s ready to be uploaded onto a product such as a T-shirt, mugs and stickers. Thank you in advance!
Hiya! Thanks so much for your kind words 🙏🏼 The nice thing about Procreate Pocket is that you can make the exact same art as with Procreate on the iPad 😄 The only limiting factor is that you can’t use an Apple Pencil on your phone, but depending on the art you want to create, this might not be an issue. So yes, you can export your art directly from the phone and upload it to RedBubble, no extra steps needed. The important thing is that you start with a big enough canvas. Get the exact size from RedBubble first so you know how big the canvas needs to be. Once you are finished creating your artwork, save it as a jpg on your phone and then upload it to RedBubble. You are going to have so much fun with this!
Well I came to learn how to rub out with the eraser tool and didn't find out how to do that :( , however I did get very sucked in, so clever how you created that picked up some other stuff that could be useful x
Hi! Can the procreate pocket allow artists to add a canvas layer for adding preexisting digital art imported into the app? I have a bunch of pieces that I want to add to make it look like they were done on canvas. Excellent Video!!!!
Thank you Karin. I just downloaded Procreate Pocket and gave it a try. It's quite difficult to follow since the new version has moved the tools and stuffs around. Also, I am having trouble to add the shadow on the ghost only. I will rewatch it and try to find out what went wrong. Again, thank you. I hope you will make more Procreate Pocket tutorial.
hi, i'm testing this app for the first time ... could you help me with a question. For the pressure in the strokes do I need a special stylus that has sensitivity or does it depend only on the configuration in procreate? thanks.
I recently got the Procreate Pocket and this video is so helpful, thank you! I just have a question, when you wrote the "BOO" using the Script brush, did you modify it or something? I was trying to achieved that stroke with the tapered end but I can't lol. Or does it have something to do with the amount of pressure?
ohh - it depends which phone you have 😭 if you have a newer iPhone (11 or newer), it doesn't have 3D touch anymore which means it's not pressure sensitive. I'm so sad about this! I've just made another video you might like to watch as well: ruclips.net/video/EODQkMzkFtY/видео.html
Have a look in this video where I'm showing how to do that: ruclips.net/video/4wi_435Ljdo/видео.html (and you'll also get an overview of all the new Procreate pocket features!)
Hi. How did you write the word BOO there using the script brush then it did a thick and thin lines depending on the pressure? It is because of the settings or the pen? I can't figure out how to do it on my procreate pocket. 😢
I just purchased procreate and there is a lot to it! Can you somewhere explain how to delete a piece of Procreate art that you don't want? thx! Love your content/tutorial.
Is it possible to use the thing that you have drawn to have it as an image and put it’s somewhere? Because mostly I wanted to use the app for putting assets into my animations that I make so can just put in the image and then I can draw the face on it so it works quicker and I don’t have to draw the body and stuff like that over and over again Edit: lol nevermind I used I different app instead to do it lol
yup - definitely! Or you can create your animation directly in the app 😄 Here’s another video where I’m showing the latest features: ruclips.net/video/4wi_435Ljdo/видео.html
Is there an updated version of this tutorial? I think a lot of the functions have moved…..can’t find the push tool anywhere? 🤔 Can anyone post a link to more updated tutorials?
Honestly, this may be the first RUclips tutorial that’s gotten me this excited. Procreate is just too cool! Thanks for doing this. It’s really fascinating to watch. 👻😄

I've been watching several videos on this as well as playing with the app, but your video is the first one I've seen that really breaks it down.
I knew this is an old video, but I’m just getting into using the app I downloaded months ago and this was by far the best video tutorial I’ve seen. Even better than the ones I’ve seen for iPad procreate. Thank you.

I have a question, how do you make albums for your art work?
Good question! You simply drag one canvas on top of the other and then it’ll make a stack ☺️
