Surprising outcome…at first. Then, I thought about it. Makes perfect sense.
It’s an interesting test- the car initially has more traction, so it digs the boat deeper into the water, and thus the boat has more “traction”, then as the car pulls harder the tires ballooned (in the case of the Slash) and lost traction completely. It’s a funny exchange of traction more so a raw power output comparison. Cool idea!
This is madness, a really cool idea. I have always wanted a boat, this may have sold me!!

Just got the M41 with the telemetry 2.0, GPS, voltage and temperature sensors. Top speed 56mph so far...

Your land vehicle traction was too sketchy. The consistency of the prop traction is too much for the little slash. Cool idea though.
Yea I tried finding a bit smoother ground but no luck during the summer days, everyone on the lake 😁
Give the Xmaxx a try with the Zelos! Twin motor, twin prop.. might take the roll out of the boat.

So at the end where you flipped the boat upsidedown how did you get it? Does it have self-riding capability or do you have to go out and get it yourself?
Unfortunately you have to go flip it yourself 😬
That sucks that's how I lost one of my boats was it flipped over in the river and got away from me if it had self-riding capability would have saved it from being lost
But 4 months later I got a call from a local native that got it in his net and I put my phone# in the in side of the boat and I got it back got lucky that's all I could say

I flipped my M41 first time in water. Took a bit to get it back to shore but it floated well and wasn't to wet inside. Amazon just delivered my Intex 300 raft with pump and paddles, I'm keeping it in my car as a recovery boat.
I have flipped mine over and use the prop as an airboat to get the boat back to shore lol if your on the low end of your battery you might run out of power

Farout that boat has some bower. You should hook it up to a boat rod and real around 50lb and have some fun fighting it and trying to land it. Mate if you give that a go it would make for some great footage.

I have those same badlands on my 4x4 slash and they lasted 2 runs and each time I shredded a tire just from normal driving

The problem is that, those trucks aren't having grip cos of lil stones, it would do better with better grip

@@FivoNine a concrete boat ramp would be good. And with having proper grip, these things weigh so little the uphill grade wouldn't matter much.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that the tire did not blow because of water
sometimes if water gets inside the tire foam it can explode if it spins too fast but here im not sure if it was water or just ballooning.

The car is losing because the surface is not pretty good for friction due to pebbles the car loses the grip

Correct war was 6s vs 6s. So the correct car is erevo 2.0. Not xmaxx obviously that is 8s so more powerful and weighty los more traction.
