Hi guys, My name is Arindam Chatterjee & in Season 2 of my Ark Survival Evolved Singleplayer, I will use Official server difficulty settings to play through all the Ark Official maps(Story & non-Story). Singleplayer settings will be OFF/DISABLED & max dino level turned to 150. Only taming & harvesting rates will be increased to cater to a faster style of gameplay. Only admin commands I ever use are: gamma, slomo, saveworld & ghost(for rarely when I get stuck on a rock). I DO NOT USE CHEATS AS IT HAMPERS IMMERSION.

Thanks for the contribution, because I did not know the essence of the fight, the fact of continuing to attack while preparing his most powerful attack was what made me fail in each fight and lose a huge amount of resources and several Meks
You're welcome. I'm glad my videos are doing its intended purpose ie: helping other along the way. I am doing all maps BTW & I am currently in Genesis. I upload videos in a 2-3 day gap basis( have a full time job to manage too) so hopefully you will stick around for them.
Attempting this on unofficial, accounting for the 4x damage in the video, has not garnered good results. In most cases I get swarmed by reaper kings and trikes during the battle, and the nodes seem to spawn so frequently I cannot keep up with them and damage the boss. Not sure if these are patches since this video was made, but trying this solo is not going well using this method. Even tried using an Ice Titan to tank, but for some reason it wouldn't attack half the time, and then ran off down the hill...causing the titan to reset...
Awesome video - how cool you were throughout the whole fight :) The one thing I did not get: Is the blaster the pistol the mek has on its left arm? Why didn't you use the mek's blaster in some cases?
Hi. Thank You for your kind words. The MEK's Blaster doesn't do enough dmg against the King's Enormous Health Pool to justify its use, better to concentrate effort moving & using the Rocket Pods.

Hey man great video! I’m looking to do this fight soon and was just wondering why you don’t have to defend the element nodes when they spawn? Because it seems like just damaging him clearly works fine
If you kill him fast enough, he will be dead before he gets a chance to replenish hp from the nodes. Remember my vid was on SP where King Ttan takes 4x more dmg. On official you need 4x MEKs to have the same effect as me.

Yes, the ascendant one/higher quality ones give more dmg in this case.
This is the cheesiest way to beat this guy that i've seen so far =)

Hi. If you are doing this on a Dedi/Offi server, this boss fight will take more time since King Titan's hp will be a 4x more. You can apply the same tactics I did but will need 3-4x more ammo.
You know if the bosses health scales with the number of players in the arena?

was this in SP with a VERY low difficulty? we just tried it on official settings and our mlrm was about 300% more than yours, with high end meks @ 500+ melee, and we were capping at like 710 dmg per rocket, where as you are doing over 2500?
Yes, even after disabling SP settings & turning on all stuff that makes it close to Official, the King Titan take 4x more dmg on SP vs any server. Hence, my fight was easier. To make it 100% official, one needs to negate that 4x by changing the game.ini file which I have done for the Forest, Desert & Ice Titan but not for this one.
@@Arindam_Gaming gotcha, things just didnt add up, thanks for the reply, and honesty! (earned a sub for that!) regardless, well done keeping him centered, we had it freak out and constantly regen a good 1/3rd of its health every time he decided to do his triple lunge swipe..grrrrrr... we did get him eventually, but it was a rough fight for 2 people even in really good meks.

Being Honest is important to me since a) any learned person can see through lies, b) there's no point in making videos if they cannot help others & showing off through falsity won't get me anywhere & c) Most importantly & funnily though, I want to use my videos as my own guide & as a journal for any future playthrough hence I cannot take any shortcuts. It might seem strange but I actually refer to my videos(mostly base builds) to plan strategies on the next map.
Regarding the King Titan, I think it is too much of a stretch to beat him solo by removing the 4x dmg multiplier as on official thus Truly, the King Titan solo on 100% official settings may well be the hardest boss in the game(accurate from lore perspective).

All you need is an ascendant rocket pod. Extremely rare
You can do with a lesser Journeyman Pod just that it will take more rockets, more time & thus a bit more patience/care. Ofc my method can be done in a group which makes will make much easier.

Correct. SP King Titan is 4x easier (even with SP settings off). Unlike the 3 normal Titans, I did not use a game.ini modifier to make negate the 4x nerf( 3x for other Titans). I plan on making a Official version of King Titan fight soon.

With forest, ice, desert, 4 prim meks (mega mek) 2 good meks and 33,000hp 2000+ melee gigas with 70 armour saddles ish
5 ish players
1 desert tanking
1 ice hitting from behind
1 desert cleaning up and killing mobs/nodes
2 mek players
Afk gigas
Afk prim meks to do mega mek
Can anyone give advice on how many gigas I would need on small tribes? and any additional tips? or advice on changing strategy? Thankyou!

Yo, I just back to do gamma king titan with a mek, beta forest titan, alpha ice titan, 12 Gigas with 500% melee, 2 boss rexes with 100K hp and 1K% melee, and 2 theriz with 40K hp and 700% melee.
That should be sufficient. But I dont think the Rex & Theris are required. Gigas with their high dmg have utility. Those Rexes have amazing hp stats wow !!!
@@Arindam_Gaming it's a world boss, any dinos are required. But, single player setting was on so yea. Also, I've been breeding rexes and theriz for 3 years for mutation stats. Lot of work, but it was worth it. If I turn single player setting off, my rexes would have 60K hp with 800 and melee and theriz would have 28K with 450 melee
Have you any modifiers active? Or is this official server?
Hi. If you try this boss on a Proper Official server, note that it will have 4x effective health than what is seen in this video. The method I've shown is still valid but will require 4x more MEKs, rockets & hence doing in a group will shorten the time. My server config is almost exact to official server but for King Titan, I did not include the 4x HP difference part to make the video not be too long.

@@blackdonalds8622I think its more to do with RNG (luck) that waves. I've done over 50 OSDs of Purple & survived varying rounds, didnt find too much difference between say Ending after Round 20 or Round 30.

So on your Official PVP, the King will have 4x hp. My strategy is still perfectly valid (either alone or in a group) but you'll require more time & ammo.
Ok i have a 12 man tribe so its just making a few meks to do it
@@meowymeowz1604 With a 12 man tribe this should be trivial like a walk in the Extinction Park. Your group can kill it even before it reached its 1st animation stage.

Glad you appreciate it. What about the sound ? Is it v loud or are there''s too much background noise ?
@@Arindam_Gaming The sound is really harsh and there is popping, like its set way to high on recording where it goes way above the volume buffer.
@@samuils Thank you for the feedback. I think I have rectified this by changing to a "proper" microphone from the 2nd part of my Genesis 1 videos onwards. At the time I recorded this, I didn't have the budget to spend on a mike so I used my webcam's mike instead.
@@samuils One thing I've never quite found out is the ideal volume at which all viewers will be comfortable. Some YT videos have v less sound while some are so loud they hurt my own ears. I want my videos to be accessible to all & your feedback is really helpful to me.

No, you don't get any extra levels for beating King Titan. Thanks @Ryan O'Hara for pointing this out.

on official it does not, EXCEPT, in order to achieve the 10+ levels for collecting all the notes, you need to do both alpha and beta or gamma as there are two holograms you need to unlock when king titan and mecha king titan die in order to achieve.
@@RyanPatrickOHara I have always done step-by-step first gamma then beta then alpha hence never skipped gamma/beta to directly do alpha. Hence, if what you are saying is true then I am not aware of it.
no what i'm saying is that you get 0 additional levels for beating the king titan on any difficulty. It doesn't give you anything but loot, a trophy and the two holograms (one for king titan and the other for mecha king titan) and you do need those for the note +10 achievement, so it's worth it. You do not get any levels for beating the king titan like you do for island ascension, aberration rockwell, gen1 and gen2. You get nothing.
SOOO, its a rigged single player. On official he kicks your ass with 4x the mek level and 5x the rocket level.
The Video Description never mentions "Official Servers" anywhere but definitely says that it was done "WITHOUT any Singleplayer settings" so exactly what are you trying to imply mate ?

@@kenroe5410 I had already mentioned in the description what you had said. Granted on official, the king titan has 4x the effective health, 4 people spamming rockets like me can still take him down with same time.
How did you get that good of a rocket launcher module? Where did you farm that?
I distinctly remember that came from a Purple OSD. I survived till wave 10(2 more than normal). They give better rewards the longer you stay.
@@Arindam_Gaming Weird, I cant see mrlm in any of the OSD loot tables. Have you gotten any recently, or is the Wiki wrong?
@@samuils The Wiki is definitely wrong & in many cases also outdated. Remember that the wiki is written by volunteers & not by the actual devs so either it may get erroneous information or a recent patch may deprecate the wiki's information. Either way, I have gotten all my Non-Primitive MEK gears (MRLM/MSCM?MDSM etc) from OSDs
