Lived in Miami from 1996-2008..not exactly the heyday day of WQAM..it was a sports station when I was there..but there were 2 radio legends on the air when I was there. Hank “The Hammer”Goldberg ..a sports guy..but Hank was a legend in the sports business. And the other was Neil Roger’s..Neil Was classic..he was Howard Stern b4 Howard..Neil was definitely wild..Last but not least Rick Shaw was radio royalty back in the day ..I believe in the 60’s into the 70s when WQAM was a thriving top 40 station..When I was living in Miami Rick was winding down his incredible radio career on the Miami oldies station !!…But 560 WQAM was definitely one of country’s great radio stations !!..again love the jingles Ellis !!.Thank You !!
The early jingles were hard to listen to but later, WQAM started to sound more like the New York and California stations. They had great jocks from the very beginning. Roby Younge and Rick Shaw were as good as any in the country
Oh, you know you're in for a treat when it's a montage of WQAM jingles!
@@DLCOrganization Glad you enjoyed it!

@@Doctom1515 I listened to Neil almost every day here in Orlando. WQAM was full of static up here, but still I listened.
