Being “open with talent” was almost nonexistent in the 90s-00s before social media was as big as it is. Good musicians didn’t want to give away their sauce and when they did they never “really” did. They would always give a simplified version of what they did. So I just did my own research on theory and learned on my own. And passed a lot of people up musically. But I share everything I know with no shortcuts.
