In my opinion Star Platinum during Part 4 didn't got weaker, Jotaro got rusty with him, Jotaro says that he didn't use Star Platinum for a long time (after the fight with DIO if i'm not wrong), basically Star Platinum didn't got weaker, Jotaro got weaker, but he became smarter compared to P3 Jotaro.
On the inaccuracies in the crazy diamond being equal to star platinum, I think jotaro was pulling his punch’s in that fight. I mean, it’s your teenage uncle mad that you insulted his hair, not a threat to humanity.
But he still pretty much smashed right through his guard. If star platinum had a decent enough strength and speed advantage he could of just restrained him

Star Platinum's time stop has always been short, even during the DIO fight it was short... the part where Jotaro got DIO was when he activated his [Time Stop] right as DIO's ended leaving DIO trapped in stopped time and open to attack

wel for part 6 there is a clear explanation. since whitesnake took jotaro a disc he was put in a coma. stands are mind power and since jotaro was in a coma and recently woke out of it the coma affected the durability and learning potential of star platinum

Star Platinums nerf’s happened because he got depressed, he got a divorce, couldn’t be with his daughter much, and was an extremely busy man, a stand reflects on the mental state too, not too much, but enough to count, so being highly depressed definitely didn’t help Star Platinums strength
I think it also has to do with the coma he was in for a couple of days. It's stated in part 6 that Jotaro would most likely eventualy die if he wasn't given back his stand and memory. I think it would explain why he lost durability of all things, his body was still weak from the coma.
@@METAsMETAs Actually He lost durability with Age. He wasn't the same Extremely powerful Teen he was before. I mean He is still Powerful He just Can't take a hit anymore.
@@kindadumbtrashpile3705 nah, he had the same stats at the beginning of part 6 so age is not it (even though i thought the same for a long time). He seems to be nerfed post-coma which also makes sense, just didnt fully recover.
I believe that Star Platinum: The World's stats are different from early Part 6 Star Platinum in the sense that the ability itself has stats of its own. Base Star Platinum is the super punchy boi stuff which is why the Learning was Complete and the Durability was A class. Meanwhile, Star Platinum: The World triggers the time stop, where duration fluctuates (Learning: C) and also Jotaro can't do it back to back because it's tiring (Durability: E).
1 stand stats are complete bull and shouldn't be taken at face value. 2 in the stand stats Durability refers to the ability of the stand and since Jotaro himself got old and didn't train time stop SP's durability went down.
@@warbilby They're bull until they're not. By Part 6, Jotaro has his time stop back at 5 seconds and Star Platinum: The World has its own stats similar to Killer Queen: Bites the Dust. The reduction of time stop isn't due to his age, its due to him not using it over the course of ten years between Parts 3 and 4. In Part 6, its back to 5
@@warbilby you are as random as all the people saying jjba stats is bullsh*t (all RUclipsr who said that included because they are not the owner of the almighty truth too). If you actually use your brain and analyse circumstances, you'll see that the stats make a lot of sense.
Maybe the durability nerf was because Jotaro used time stop so much there wasn’t a need to endure hits anymore. I think of it like Ace from One Piece. After the guy got his Logia he states that he has forgotten what pain feels like. I think Jotaro got so good at time stop, he had no need anymore to endure strong hits, turning him into a type of glass cannon.
In jojo if you practice stoping time your cool down and duration will bump up the longest a human can do is 5 seconds but if they train they can decrease durability but they can time stop every 5 seconds based on how stone ocean shows us
Wasn’t his Ora Ora barrage said to be at the speed of light and we all know he has the most physically strongest stand also (I’m pretty sure his time stop got shorter due to him stopping time hurts his body) that’s why in part 6 his durability went to shit
I know exactly why star platinum got nerfed. Araki new if jotaro in Stone Ocean was as strong as he was in stardust crusaders or in diamond is unbreakable , he would SMACK Pucci before he could do anything for the plot.
I think time stop is a more mental strain than a physical which is one of the reasons why lack of use decreased timestop but not star platinums physical power (also as for part 6 we know stands can undergo small changes if the person changes like Heaven's Door originally needing you to look at a manga panel)
To have enough energy to stop the entire movement of the universe must have some kind of backlash, it makes sense why you might feel a little weaker and your mind would be hazy.
Like when he punches Kira clearly in the head, but he just flew very far, because he didn't wanna kill him. And when he Destroyed Dio's skull with a single punch because he was angry and wanna kill Dio, insane control but hey, the stand got A in precision for nothing
The vacuum feat could count both as a destructive feat and a dura and endurance feat , it could very well be a speed feat also. The energy needed to suck up a giant fog creature would be insane and star platinum needed the dura to not implode from doing that, it would also take a crazy amount of speed to pull that off too. The kira feat would be a speed and endurance feat since star platinum was half dead when he did this and Kira never respects his enemies so he wouldn't wank his opponent's power level since he's super cocky. would of liked to see you tackle the water hole feat and the 18 wheeler feat. Yeah the truck feat at most small building but it still would of been cool to see your take
That vacuum feat is actually quite insane. I tried calculating it using the actual speed given by subtracting the volume of the fog and the timeframe. And when i try to use KE measurement, it went as high as Large Island lmao
The vacuum feat doesn't translate to physical abilities like raw attack power. It would be like trying to scale how hard someone can throw a punch to how fast they can run. It's two separate things. There is the fact that there is no other feat that can match the alleged calculations. We also only see Star Platinum sucking up the vistige of Justice that takes up the room, not the town. And he only stopped once Enya fainted meaning the fog dissipated cause she was unconscious, not because he sucked it all up. Also Kira just got barraged multiple times by Star Platinum who even while weakened, left him bloodied and limping. Of course it would feel like he was moving so fast cause his stand was taking so many punches at once.
The justice feat is good to use along with scaling jotaro > Josuke physically who scales to RHCP who absorbs the energy of an entire town. Town level is consistent and Jotaro being well over light speed is nice to see. The Crazy diamond scaling I would argue in the series Jotaro has better feats (which you clarified so good on you). Overall I like this video a lot and glad you didn’t downplay, can’t wait to see more from you bro!
Also for p6 jotaro there’s a thing about him having a decreased muscle mass which could correlate to him having lower dura but that’s whatever and depends how you interpret it
I dont think RHCP/Josuke are town level since the amount of energy used to power an entire town is definitely much lower than the amount that is required to destroy it. The feat would put both Josuke and RHCP at Multi city block level and that level is actually pretty consistent for Jotaro to scale because his previous Part 3 feats are also in that caliber
@@Tylearn it isnt. Energy used to power the entirity of a town is much less than it is required to destroy it. Average electricity usage of an entire town is 1000 megawatt hour and if converted into TNT kilograms, you would get you 800 tons which is not enough to reach small town
@@youwouldntremembermeanyway7410 him being town level is in reference to a calculation based on the amount he would have to absorb based on the size of the town Morioh , that’s why it makes him town level
5:29- I think the OVA- controversial as it might be, gives a decisive answer- DIO at his pinnacle can lift boats, cars, and road roller/oil tankers with ease while also being able to topple a tower- so I consider that powerful.
The only reason DIO could stop time for 10 seconds was cuz he was a vampire. Stopping time even a little was immensely draining Jotaro. The longer time stop at the cost of durability was most likely because it was killing Jotaro to stop time for that long. Or at the very least it was very bad for his health.
@@itjustworks1858 exactly, why do people the think time stop is draining jotaro? It's not like time erasd is draining diavolo. It was never stated to drain him, also where did you get he could time stop for 6 second didn't it day in the manga he said it was 5?
I highly doubt Jotaro used Time stop vs Kira as he was soooooooo weakened and there was no TS noice affect or anything so I’ll assume SP just blitzed Kira and still had the strength, durability and speed to just casually beat the shit out of Kira something Josuke almost replicated but he wasn’t as weakened and he wasn’t able to do it before stray cats put a hole in his rib(?) So SP>>CD>KQ.
But why though he wasn't even injured and if you forgot jotaro legit learned how to stop time in part 3 In a few hours, so It doesn't make sense why his time stop wouldn't get longer
@@lionelladvelino4795 bro I’m talking about during Jotaro and Kira’s encounter on the back alley of the clothing store where Jotaro literally had holes in him. He was injured bad.
@@Sun-cg6lv ah that makes but jotaro could just stop time for less than a second so he can blitz kira while not starining his body, but i think we all know that star platinum could probably just speed blitz kira even when injured
Jotaro losing points in development potential us actually a sign of his growth and I actually a good thing. The higher your DP stat means how much potential your Stand has left. So if you had an A, you have a lot of untapped potential. But if you have something like a D, you either lacked growth potential to begin with or you have honed in on what your Stand can do that you don't even know where to continue development. Very strange but it's called development potential for a reason.
I think that Jotaro got stronger and weaker at the same time. Since he stopped fighting for 10 years after Stardust Crusaders, star platinum's skill sorta rusted and he couldn't fight as savagely as he did in part 3. But he also got stronger because like you said, Star Platinum at one point moved so fast that it was like he slowed down time. And add the fact that Jotaro was a lot older and more mature, meaning that if Star Platinum "exercised" so to speak, he could've been so powerful that Josuke wouldn't have even been able to keep up. Part 6 Jotaro was even rustier because at that point Jotaro was starting to get old and so was star plat, and once again, he hadn't fought for about 12 years so his skill sorta declined. And then he had star platinum and his memories taken away for a long time so that might've messed him up a bit. My point is that Jotaro DID get stronger in part 4 because he matured, but he also got rustier throughout the series and that ended up hindering his true power.
Also, would you say Star Platinum’s power and speed outmatch Golden Experience Requiem’s? Because it’s said multiple times that Star Platinum is the “number 1 stand” or “the strongest stand”
BTW i think you underestimated diavolo/King crimsons speed , because he managed to dodge a silver chariot , while polrnarif was crippled , diavolo did state that his stand silver chariot hadnt lost any of its speed , he would know cuz he fought him befor. This is impressiv concidering that chariot is relative if not faster than the speed of Light (his fight against hanged man)
Oh for clarification, Hanged Man was moving away from Silver Chariot before Polnareff deployed SC to slash HM in his light beam form. So he wouldn’t just be faster if not relative to HM, he would be massively faster than him especially when considering relative velocity.
the difference is that, in that instance, silver charriot was swinging at king crimson blindly because diavolo was attacking polnareff from behind, which is an issue because polnareff, can't see through silver chariot (as seen in his fight with ebony devil.) any stand user on silver chariots speed level, who can see through their stand (like jotaro) would have destroyed diavolo in that scenario.
It's Kinda weird he didn't use ts in those 10 years bcs he could have mastered it or at least have gotten 5 seconds of ts when Dio got it way faster. (ik he had tw but still)
@@whatspaghett the maximum amount of time a human can stop time is a total of 5 seconds keyword *HUMAN* so even if he trained all those years he still can't stop time beyond 5 seconds unlike DIO because he isn't a vampire like DIO if he stops time beyond 5 seconds he will either die or be fataly wounded because of the strain time stop puts in the body because jotaro is only *HUMAN*
@@trapmaster8458 I never said he would go over 5 seconds I just said part 4 Would be over way sooner because he would still have 5 seconds timestop and all the fights would be way sooner because jotaro would just obliterate anyone in 5 seconds timestop.
My thoughts are these. Star Platinum in part 3 and in part 4 didnt have much of a difference. Only Jotaro did. Jotaro was so busy with his work and constantly saving Josuke and his friends’ asses. Not to mention bro already has trauma from Dio, that bitch is probably haunting him even after he died. In part 6 however, Jotaro was in a coma. I believe for 3 months. During his coma the doctors said that he lost a huge amount of muscle mass. So lets do the math here. More muscle = More Power. More muscle = More Durability. And since the stands (The punchy close range types.) that are just punchy bois are almost the same as the users physique, both Star Platinum and Jotaro suffered great durability loss. And since he was in a coma his body got used to just staying in an idle state. The doctors themselves said “He wakes up, looks around for a few hours, then falls asleep for the next 24 hours.”
@@Y4L3Lol aight I like Crazy Diamond because of you think about Crazy Diamond is like Star Platinum and Golden Experience is they had a child. And also I like Crazy Diamond design it’s cool. Now for Sticky Fingers I like him cuz of his zipper ability’s he can glide with zipper, punch a zipper in you, and IDK if I’m correct but he was able to unzip Giorno and put things in his mouth and hands without Giorno knowing. Mainly I also like these stands because of how their stand user uses them
8:00 Correct me if im wrong but considering my understanding of physics: Doing any action (like punching) so fast to the point of slowing down time isnt beyond light speed, it isnt even light speed. So that speed feat of SP would amount to either Relativistic or Relativistic + Reason being, at least to my knowledge, that the faster you go the more mass you have and more energy you need to speed up, if you somehow keep speeding up (which normally wouldn't be possible) you would have enough mass to essentially bend/curve the fabric of Space like a black hole, and that curve would result in time seemingly slowing down because photons would take longer to travel through the same distance. (photons as of my understanding dont experience time like we do but influence how we experience time due to them literally being light itself) But if im wrong feel free to correct me.
a stands embodiment of your fighting spirit is that they intend to inherit the injuries of the user and the other way around yes at the beginning of part six he was the same as part four maybe even stronger although yes most of his wounds were shallow they did still cause a lot of injuries and the fact that Jotaro was technically dead for a months by the time we next see him his wounds and body having healed from being dead probably the reason why star platinum is less durable it's probably because he hasn't fully healed although yes he got back both of his discs back he's not technically at full health and that's probably why he is relatively weaker as the end of part 6
7:44 Could that mean that Star Platinum has a secret ability? Which increases it's speed and destructive power as the user gets more and more injured. I mean, if that was the case, the stand just got even cooler than it already was.
Whenever a person is in a life or death experience(specifically in a fight to the death), they get an adrenaline rush and their body goes into hyperdrive as a last ditch effort for survival. Because a stand basically reflects the users mental state, it shows that basically jotaro going through an adrenaline rush, didn’t care or think about anything but beating the shit out of kira. So for just a couple of seconds, star platinum was able to regain the ability’s it had in its prime and a little more Short version: jotaros near death experience made him so fucking angry during an adrenaline rush, his stand, reflecting his mental state, had ignored or persevered through the backlash of back to back timestops just because he was that angry
I always got the vibe when people say "star platinum is the strongest stand, but crazy diamond is stronger" I interpreted that as "Crazy Diamond can hit harder, maybe even faster, but overall it's not as 'strong' as star platinum due to the SP's precision, range, and time stop, adding up to a more powerful ability"
Completely agree, part 4 star platinum is even stronger than end of part 3 Star Platinum he only has a rusty time stop it doesn't make the Ora Ora barrages/Star Platinum's punching power weaker actually Jotaro with 6-7 holes(Kira said he can see the view from the holes in his body) while also off guard blitzed and beat the crap out of Killer Queen a stand with A in speed and power while Killer Queen can stop a Crazy Diamond Dorarara barrage it couldn't react to Star Platinum while trying to attack Jotaro...this makes Star Platinum much faster than Crazy Diamond (granted Killer Queen was stronger vs Josuke but mainly due to bites the dust which is irrelevant to 1v1 fights)...and Josuke after Okyasu "died" got a rage/mental amp and then beat the crap out of Kira Also Josuke in the anime admit vs Red Hot Chili Pepper (when Joseph was getting there) that Jotaro is even stronger and also Red Hot Chili Pepper was scared of Jotaro. Kira saying Josuke being more of a threat to his peaceful life is more due to Crazy Diamond's restoration abilities being counter to killer Queen's air bombs. Part 6 Jotaro did got nerfed due to durability being E and Jolyne being Jotaro's weakness Star Platinum is the strongest stand pre Requiem stands and Tusk act 4.... possibly Made In Heaven too but those stands are ridiculously overpowered
The end of Part 3 was when Jotaro was at his absolute peak. He had just spent the past several weeks traveling halfway across the world and been in multiple physically and mentally taxing Stand fights along the way, with his mother's life on the line. His endurance, willpower, and drive were at a level far higher than any point previously in his life, and he obviously did not continue to follow such a regiment. Remember that at some point, Jotaro mentions that he hates doing Time Stop because it tires him out. After Part 3, he didn't train as Dio had done (it's possible he did Time Stop training in between Part 5 and Part 6) and was more concerned about studying than fighting, so he did not have as strong of a fighting spirit as he did in his youth. His endurance and willpower declined, and his motivation was not as strong. Part 6, his motivation was certainly higher than even in Part 3, but that doesn't make up for the reduction in his endurance or willpower. "Araki nerfed Star Platinum," yes, but it was through narratively sound logic, not through retcon or author fiat.
5:10 so, u can't take this that way, because during this first part of the fight, Jotaro was not 100% on the PunchBoy thing, he was putting a magnet on Dio
I agree with a lot of this video but Jotaro>DIO from the beginning is how I think of things in that fight. DIO did a cheap boxing trick and got a lucky strike on a cautious Jotaro who was trying to lure DIO into a false sense of security then DIO just decided that it’s enough to say SP
@@TheHomieToxic DIO had a longer time stop and he kept running from Jotaro and abused the distance advantage. Every other time Jotaro got in range DIO was the one slacking behind
@@TheHomieToxic he wasn’t as he was literally cautious as hell and even had time to activate time stop so he saw the punch please read my comment fully. Jotaro even said the only reason he was playing dead was because DIO would use projectiles again instead of h2h combat.
I thought that star platinum stopped time by the fact this it is so fast that Jotaro has to share it's consciousness to keep up with it and then stop time
What about that interview that Araki stated that in his twin tanks, The World contains an oxygen amount equal to the Earth's Atmosphere, which would be Multi-Continent?
4:20 they state in the panel that you are showing that they have no clue how close the sun is to them, meaning it isn’t necessarily burning as hot as the sun, i think thats a ridiculous claim.
I think after part 4 Jotaro saw how bad it would be to have a short time stop so he just stopped time once every day just to not get it to half a second like in the crazy diamond fight
Making afterimages isnt really close to lightspeed, you right now can take your finger and move it so fast that it looks like its two places at once. Its hard to scale, since you’d need to scale the reaction speed of the character that looks at him, as that is the determining factor on how fast he would be going. I’d say its a hypersonic feat sure, but not light speed or even close
Part 4 from a certain point of view revolved around jotaro! No one ever wanted to fight him, and everyone thought of how to avoid him. Especially Kira, god it was so funny!
When Araki said "Strongest Stand" he was clearly referring to Star Platinum's physical abilities. In terms of fighting it has beaten down any stand that tried to physically go toe to toe with it yet we see other stand's abilities being able to even out the fight. Think about how many times Jotaro has nearly died to a stand that it would have effortlessly pounded into nothing because of their unique abilities. It scales physically to other stands, not their abilities. The time stop was clearly added to close that gap.
I like the idea that Araki nerfed Star Platinum in Part 6 because he knew if he gave him part 3-4 stats he would have probably wiped the floor with Pucci before he had the chance to even get Made in Heaven.
considering that Araki just wanted to reset the universe, it makes sense. if Araki wanted this fight to make any sense, jotaro would ask Josuke for help or something
Jotaro said Star Platinum is not fast enough to switch all the cards in his poker duel with D'Arby Elder, and then you're talking about Star Platinum being lightspeed. I don't think any Stands in Jojo are lightspeed, only Made in Heaven and Hanged Man perhaps.
8:32 Actually, Araki patched how fucky timestop can be in part 7 with Alternate Diego commenting on "it's not acutally 5 seconds for certain... not sure why I say it is... There isn't any way to tell." (roughest quote possible, may not be accurate) which means Jotaro's timestop is likely 1-2 seconds on average when he is just using it raw, but probably upwards of as strong or stronger than in p3 with 5-6 seconds of timestop when he really goes all in, like when Kira used BTD and Jotaro stopped time to finish him off.
I think stands get stronger because they are essentially your will and will power so a rage boost is you having more will to do something making your stand stronger. In that moment jotaro has to fight for his life to see his family and daughter again as well as keep the people or morioh safe. I also believe that stands and requiem work in a similar way, polnareff wanted to get the arrow away from diavolo and so when he got requiem his deepest desire and thing he willed the most at that moment was fulfilled, kira wished he could start over to try and win again. Peoples stands develop from their personality, things they already did and things that could help them or further their goals.
Imagine being Jotaro in college/university for a second. You have Star Platinum The World, and you don't use it even ONCE your entire college life. Crazy.
This video had some statement that kinda triggered me a bit. People keep saying SP is close to light speed when in the data books it was confirmed that he was massively faster than light so he would be MFTL. Don't believe me? SP in part 6 was able to react to MIH........TWICE.........One time was when MIH was going to attack joleyn and another time was when he attacked diver down. He TS twice and was able to catch MIH both times meaning SP can react to MIH. Keep in mind that this SP is far weaker than bloodlust SP....
in “Eyes of heaven” (non-canon) jotaro inherited the power to overwrite reality for the world : over heaven WITHOUT reaching heaven. if you counted that, he COULD be even stronger than G.E.R.
Dio said so, but Dio said a lot of things. At the beginning The World seemed to have a small advantage in strength, but that could have just been Jotaro being inexperienced compared to Dio. SP is definitively stronger though. Aside from taking out Dio Saitama style, in order to hold up the road roller he would have had to outpace the momentum of Dio throwing it down at him and beat out both Dio (who was punching himself as well) and The World. Meaning that SP is at least as strong as The World + supercharged Dio (in Jonathan's body - which is a lot in and of itself) + the force behind the road roller when SP started punching it. That actually makes SP significantly stronger than The World.
I remember Josuke saying this when they were dealing with the spirit in the picture: "We need your invincible Star Platinum." If that's not evidence of Star Platinum being stronger than Crazy Diamond then I don't know what is.
It was stated earlier in the part jotaro doesn’t have enough stamina to do a repeated time stop in this moment he shouldn’t have had any stamina to do a time stop
I feel like the bomb feat is honestly a mixture of both, and it shows just how POWERFUL SP is, Jotaro manages to TANK A EXPLSION POINT BLANK WITH BLAST WOUNDS SO BAD PEOPLE CAN SEE OUT THE OTHER SIDE OF HIM! then, while damaged heavily, he managed to OUTSPEED KIRA SO DAM FAST THAT TIME PROCEEDED TO SLOW DOWN. This is honestly a feat of both, and the most insane part? Jotaro was damaged, and usually when people are damaged in Jojo's, they slow down a bit, meaning that Star Platinum could be EVEN FASTER.
No matter what's said about Jotaro getting stronger, time stop is the most op thing when combined with a punch strong enough to 1 shot people. It's an unavoidable kill shot. He was nerfed through stats and bullshit excuses because he'd beat everyone except for 1 special gang star if he wasn't.
9:28 umm do most part 6 readers get amnesia? jotaro was a vegetable for most the part so he got weaker not using his muscles aswell as him being older and he is probably straining his body to protect everybody from pucci

@@warbilby
They're bull until they're not.

He punched though teeth said to be hard as diamonds, i guess diamonds are breakable.
I know exactly why star platinum got nerfed. Araki new if jotaro in Stone Ocean was as strong as he was in stardust crusaders or in diamond is unbreakable
, he would SMACK Pucci before he could do anything for the plot.
I think time stop is a more mental strain than a physical which is one of the reasons why lack of use decreased timestop but not star platinums physical power (also as for part 6 we know stands can undergo small changes if the person changes like Heaven's Door originally needing you to look at a manga panel)
and DIO kinda went coo-coo after timestopping whist high on Joseph blood
To have enough energy to stop the entire movement of the universe must have some kind of backlash, it makes sense why you might feel a little weaker and your mind would be hazy.
The amount of control Jotaro has to not donut someone is insane, because star platinum is on par with the world
Would have been so nice if he just donuts someone instead of punching them away though.
@@Satantron1 So does that put it up with Weather Reports Ozone Layer Destruction feat.
@@youwouldntremembermeanyway7410 the amount of energy that was calced at how much RHCP would have to absorb is based on moriohs size is town level
@@Tylearn it isnt. Energy used to power the entirity of a town is much less than it is required to destroy it. Average electricity usage of an entire town is 1000 megawatt hour and if converted into TNT kilograms, you would get you 800 tons which is not enough to reach small town

WHY DO YOU ONLY HAVE 8K SUBS?? YOU DESERVE SO MUCH MORE!!!

This is impressiv concidering that chariot is relative if not faster than the speed of Light (his fight against hanged man)
Oh for clarification, Hanged Man was moving away from Silver Chariot before Polnareff deployed SC to slash HM in his light beam form. So he wouldn’t just be faster if not relative to HM, he would be massively faster than him especially when considering relative velocity.
the difference is that, in that instance, silver charriot was swinging at king crimson blindly because diavolo was attacking polnareff from behind, which is an issue because polnareff, can't see through silver chariot (as seen in his fight with ebony devil.)
any stand user on silver chariots speed level, who can see through their stand (like jotaro) would have destroyed diavolo in that scenario.

8:00 Correct me if im wrong but considering my understanding of physics:
Doing any action (like punching) so fast to the point of slowing down time isnt beyond light speed, it isnt even light speed. So that speed feat of SP would amount to either Relativistic or Relativistic +
Reason being, at least to my knowledge, that the faster you go the more mass you have and more energy you need to speed up, if you somehow keep speeding up (which normally wouldn't be possible) you would have enough mass to essentially bend/curve the fabric of Space like a black hole, and that curve would result in time seemingly slowing down because photons would take longer to travel through the same distance.
(photons as of my understanding dont experience time like we do but influence how we experience time due to them literally being light itself)
But if im wrong feel free to correct me.

Nah its Rage Boost. They happen to everyone
Whenever a person is in a life or death experience(specifically in a fight to the death), they get an adrenaline rush and their body goes into hyperdrive as a last ditch effort for survival. So for just a couple of seconds, star platinum was able to regain the ability’s it had in its prime and a little more
Short version: jotaros near death experience made him so fucking angry during an adrenaline rush, his stand, reflecting his mental state, had ignored or persevered through the backlash of back to back timestops just because he was that angry

Completely agree, part 4 star platinum is even stronger than end of part 3 Star Platinum he only has a rusty time stop it doesn't make the Ora Ora barrages/Star Platinum's punching power weaker actually Jotaro with 6-7 holes(Kira said he can see the view from the holes in his body) while also off guard blitzed and beat the crap out of Killer Queen a stand with A in speed and power while Killer Queen can stop a Crazy Diamond Dorarara barrage it couldn't react to Star Platinum while trying to attack Jotaro...this makes Star Platinum much faster than Crazy Diamond (granted Killer Queen was stronger vs Josuke but mainly due to bites the dust which is irrelevant to 1v1 fights)...and Josuke after Okyasu "died" got a rage/mental amp and then beat the crap out of Kira
Also Josuke in the anime admit vs Red Hot Chili Pepper (when Joseph was getting there) that Jotaro is even stronger and also Red Hot Chili Pepper was scared of Jotaro.
Kira saying Josuke being more of a threat to his peaceful life is more due to Crazy Diamond's restoration abilities being counter to killer Queen's air bombs.
Part 6 Jotaro did got nerfed due to durability being E and Jolyne being Jotaro's weakness
Star Platinum is the strongest stand pre Requiem stands and Tusk act 4.... possibly Made In Heaven too but those stands are ridiculously overpowered
It’s so busted that he could slightly see made in heaven moving

Star Platinum and The World are both the strongest stand in term of physical strength till this day
in “Eyes of heaven” (non-canon) jotaro inherited the power to overwrite reality for the world : over heaven WITHOUT reaching heaven. if you counted that, he COULD be even stronger than G.E.R.
Wasn't The World stated to be stronger than Star Platinum? I know feats > statements, but I personally like to think The World is stronger
That actually makes SP significantly stronger than The World.

what i don't understand is that they say star platinum's potential is A-rated, but it gets weaker and weaker each part
Naw scaling wise he got stronger its so goofy bruh
