I had a gift cross stitch I needed to get framed but when I saw this video, I decided to make it a pillow! Done and done! Hooray!😄

I absolutely love these!! I've never sewn anything before and I am completely inspired to do a pillow finish once I get some cross stitching done. So thankful for this tutorial because it makes it feel so much less intimidating to try out now. Thanks so much Nichol!!

Thank you for the tutorial! I finished stitching both the Welcome Autumn and Boo Crew a while back and am determined to get them “fully finished” this month! Your tutorial gives me the confidence I need to get these done! 😊

Thank you so very much! I just started stitching the 1st of a 3 small pillow set. I want to finish them & put them in this gold cut glass large “bowl” on a pedestal that I was my mother in law’s before she passed away. I never knew about cross stitch pillow decor until watching you. Now I have a project that I will enjoy working on & then it will be part of a special dining room table centerpiece. So happy I found you as my card making RUclips friend & then stitching RUclips friend! Blessings ❤

Thank you so much for going into detail about how to do this!! You made it seem possible for me to do. You got me stitching again after 25 years, so learning how to do finishes is so, so needed. Thank you!!

Just love how your autumn pillow turned out--the back fabric and chenille colors are perect with the colors in your threads. I believe everyone who does hand work has days when your hands work magic and everything you stitch is beautiful and days when your hands are totally clutzy [sp?] and you stitch as if you only have thumbs. Those days maybe we should clean our house? Your work in each of your crafts is wonderful. Enjoy the finished products without pointing out any flaws; after all if you wanted machine work you would have bought them instead of made them.

Sharing your techniques. And I learned so much from you. I just have a little more to stitch and then I be making my pillow. ❤️

Caught some of this live and some replay. I learned a lot. I never did a ladder stitch before, the knot you use, or a quarter inch foot. Thank you Nichol for being so kind and generous in sharing your time and talents with us. I love this little project because it was manageable and oh so darling. Can’t wait to see what you have planned for your next SAL. Tomorrow I’m going to make my pillow. 😀
