Great video! I watched this and Biohacks but still had to do a lot of tuning. I couldn't figure out why it was failing then I finally realized how critical it is to keep the shade counter below 10 before every Shogun turn. Otherwise, he uses his hidden A4 skill and it throws off the speed tune because he misses the A1 TM boost. After the cleanse, the shade counter increased to 15. I had to make sure my two DPS champs had 4 or 5 star awakening. Those DPS awakenings were needed to get it back down below 10. For some reason I also had to bring Gnarlhorn's speed closer to Paragon. My final team: Gnarlhorn 3* 177; Paragon 3* 176; Mithrala 6* 284; Zinogyre 5* 212; Tormin 5* 212. Mithrala's Brimstone does most of the damage. About 4:30min but it gives me room to speed up when I get better awakenings on Elenaril and Coldheart. Thanks!
Underrated comment right here!! This essentially solves my problem. I need more blessings on Gnarlhorn ugh, 2* more and I can't summon them to save my life lol
Great video nub! This was actually a team I developed about 3 months ago. I'm glad to see it getting so much attention recently! I think it's super helpful for newer players trying to tackle phantom shogun. There are a few different variants on my channel (this is the better one IMO since the DPS run faster). I'm probably going to try and make one that doesn't use Gnarlhorn at all in the near future, but that will have a greater blessing requirement.

Unfortunately not. My suggestion would be to play the fight on manually until you get to the high levels. Just bring in a lot of cleansers and champions which have abilities which don't deal damage you can save for when the boss puts out enfeeble.@@markmoyz2470

For some reasons the boss does his AOE attack even after I cleanse. Think it is the boss 3rd attack.
Awesome team ! It works for me with 2 Coldheart (100% success, full auto), speeds as follow : Gnarlhorn 180, Paragon 175, Reliquary 286, Coldheart 212 and 213. One needs a total of 12 awakenings for the team (for example two champs 3 star, and 3 champs 2 stars). Last thing : all champions should have somehow a minimum of 30K HP and 2K defense (or probably a little more), otherwise the shogun will target the "weak" ones instead of Gnarlhorn. And very last note : i needed to test different speeds on my Gnarlhorn to have him in sync with paragon. Hope it helps !! Good luck !!😋

@ lemmer89 thank you for your post. I built a team with almost exact speeds you listed and have 100% successful runs. Having at least 12 stars of blessings overall was a key. I now have 16 total so runs never fail. takes 4 minutes but I can live with that. thanks again.
why is my paragon with 175 speed to fast to put uk on gnarl before shoguns 2nd turn?
@@shalevbskeldv8012 Im having exact same problem - paragon is 175 and the boss gets 2nd go on gnarlhorn and kills him before paragon gets to place unkillable
as much as i appreciate this kind of videos where you display a team for the max level of a dungeon, i would appreciate it even more, if you also make a video on how to get there ^^. doesn't help to have the speed tunes for lvl 25 when you are stuck at lvl 15 :D.

I tried this exact speed but for some reason, I couldn't get it to work. On one of the turn at about half way through the fight, gnuarhorn takes a turn and his unkillable goes away. The Shogun takes a turn and kills gnarhorn. Paragon seems lagging behind somehow. I'm not sure what's going on.

finally got my team working...had to manual through 19-24 but using both paragon and gnarl uk moves allowed me with some rng to make it to 25 and now its full auto. thanks!

Great team. Saw a very similar one on ash’s channel recently. It’s been shown before that you really just need cleansers and awakening to do this fast but it’s still nice to see. Problem is that speed tunes never work getting up to the highest stages
yo nub, i made this team yesterday and the tune seems to work but after tender does the first cleanse the boss will soon wipe the whole team except for gnarlhorn which still has unkillable on him, you know why this might happen?

Love this. I shall be building this mainly because Gnarl and Tender are great in DT hard secret rooms so already use them plus I have an unloved lvl 60 Mr Cheese. This team and the Hydra comp are the next two things to build on my account. Love the content thank you. I'm a huge fan of using rares so also the Iron Twins triple PK team is just perfect

I just built this team and for some reason paragon doesn't take a turn before shogun's 2nd turn and gnarlhorn dies... what could be the issue?

This video helped me so much was struggling because a bunch of people were telling me to do 286 spd on the cleanser and they were took now it works
Paragon at 175 wasn't able to place unkillable before the boss took a turn but 176 did. However, like many below, the boss goes after CH on his second attack.
So I’ve made this team, exact speed stats, and gnarlhorn has more slightly more HP and def as the one in the video, yet I’ve just done 5 runs and on 4 of them, my gnarlhorn died on the first hit?
Any ideas? My gnarlhorn has the most crit damage so is being targeted by the boss, but just doesn’t survive.
Hey nubs! awesome video. it feels like it should work for me but my paragon goes out of sync after 2 unkillables. The boss somehow goes in between my gnarlhorn & paragon even though they are at 180 & 175 speed respectively (* they both are 0 masteries ). any idea whats messing up the turn metter? thanks for your time

now it works perfect
@@bombaclot5109 Didn't work for me, sorry. Gnarls gets 2 hits every time with this low speeds. He dies before Paragon can do anything....
@@rahmaron7447 It works stage 25 dude I ran 100 run of it. it just means your gnarlhorn is not tanky enough . give him more stats u will see
@@bombaclot5109 My Gnarl has 60k HP and 3k+ def. The second hit arrives with 54k HP. So... Gnarl need 90k HP and more to do this?

Hey Nubs, great vid with an actual accessible team. Any chance you have the speed stats to run this from 21 to 24 please?? I'm assuming the speeds for 25 will be too fast for 21-24.
ALot of people are asking about the lower levels. Its less about speed and more about shifting champs to affinity friendly each level...its a grind to get to 25 but alot easier with recent nerf to shogun.

Have these speeds changed since the update? On the second round of cleanses, my cleanser at 284 is too fast and cleanses 1 turn too soon
Does this only work on 25? Trying to use it to get up to 25 but on 21 and it's failing every time because Reliquary Tender will cleanse before the turn she's supposed to. I'll manual it and hope that it fixes it, but I'm curious if it's only for 25? Edit: Manual-ed and it just doesn't work. -- Edit: Ok, I would caution anyone who doesn't have high soul awakenings to not spend a lot of resources on this team because it can and will fail if you don't have high level of awakening.

0 on Paragon
4 on Reliquary Tender
6 on Gnarlhorn
and 6 on the second dps (Warmaiden)

I think it could work with less but I couldn't tell you how much... Just by looking at my run it seems quite easy to keep the boss counter down
Nubs woukd guurda work for the cleanser position? 3 turn 2 random* debuffs removed and she has an irresistible poison.

If you are also here because your speed tunes were all of a sudden out of wack, I was able to fixed it by changing my Gnarl to 181 and my Paragon to 177 (I believe paragon can go as low as 174).
But it seems like plarium mustve done a change to Phantom Shogun as 184 Gnarlhorn just every so slightly goes before the shogun at around 50 seconds.
Hi! Dosent working for me even on 181 and 177. Gnarl run out of unkill very fast and die 🤷
I couldn't get enough acc for brimstone but was able to use 2 coldhearts to finally clear the stage and farm consistently. Thank you.
I'm stuck on stage 17, these speeds seem to throw off the rotation around the second AOE After that all 4 charcters go again before I can get the next cleanse off. Is there a way to figure out needed speeds for the lower levels?
Great overview, I'll prob just build 2 CHs specific for this rather than try to get a Lego with enough ACC for Brimstone.
Strangely enough my team only started to work when I boosted Paragon by 6 speed. What`s up with that?
Wanna try this. Got a 5 star on the rare cleanser, 4 star elenaril, 2 star gnarlhorn, 2 star on the unkillable rare, 3 on coldheart. Will this be enough if i get the speed etc? Also will this help me to progress from stage 18 and beyond?
Hi! Can you help me please? I built this team, but i have a little problem. After the boss's 12th turn the unkillable allways fall off from gnarlhorn and the boss kill him by the 13th attack :/ I trired a lot of speed combination but it never works. My team: Gnarlhorn: 179 speed (tried 180-181-182-183-184, no masteries, no speed gear, turn off every skill), Paragon: 176 speed (tried 175 too, no masteries, prio A2), ReliquaryT: 285 speed (tried 284-286, no masteries, starts A1, after prio A2) and one Coldheart and a Ninja (but I think their speed doesn't matter that much). Oh, and there are 17 red stars in the team. So what do you think? What's wrong?

Just wondering if you could do an update on the new speed requirements, I just copied this speed comp and it doesn't seem to work. The bad part is that I ruined my woking speed comp with was in the 3 minute range
o/ Hi there Nub. Long time watcher, first time commenter. This video has had the most positive impact on my account, since possibly unkillable cb teams. The 284 cleanser speed was the key I was missing for this dungeon. There were some tweeks I had to make, through trial and error, but now I have a 100% win rate team with a time of 1:10. And it all became possible because of the 284. Thanks and keep up the good work! FourO.

@0:46 For some reason after my CH goes, the boss attacks her and kills both DPS instead of attacking my Gnarlhorn, her Crit Damage is 25% lower than Gnarlhorn but he keeps attacking the CH on the bosses 2nd attack. Was something changed?
Mine is failing. I have all the speeds on the dot. 😔 I watched and Paragon goes AFTER Shogun goes the 2nd time and kills Gnarlhorn. I am totally confused how Paragon can go that slow and work?
Hey Nubs, thanks for the help, but I followed your number comps and works on stage 23 but fails on 24. Also, it says shogun will priority to hit target under enfeeble but it hits my coldheart and she doesn't have enfeeble on her.
Does the live areana area bonus mess up the speed tune?
How do i get up to 25? or is it like the Tower team in Iron twins where the Speeds work on all of them?

Would a second coldheart be a replacement for elanaril? I dont have the leggo but i have a 6 star and 5 star awakening coldheart.
It would work, elenaril is mainly there for brimstone
with the new ors i am trying to build a team to grind this boss. i have built the same 4 as yu, however i went with sicia as my 5th. however i have matched the speeds exact. no speed sets or any boosing set. but i am having an issue when the boss uses their a1 it targets my paragon instead of Gnarl. any idea as to why?

You could use a 2nd coldheart or drexthar does a very good job, especially if u have at least 1* awakening 9n him
So will this work on stages up to 25 as well? Or is different speeds for each level? I’m not rebuilding champs just to find out I have to rebuild them again to clear the lower levels
This doesnt work for floors lower then 25. Just made that mistake and spent over 20 million silver to find out that it doesnt work unless you are on floor 25.
Why does sometimes he change to attack my coldheart? I use the same spd as you do but my Gnarlhorn is only 1 star awaked so my Coldheart on 5, Is this a problem?!? Please help
I think it's based on crit damage.
For whatever reason, this exact team with mithrala in place of reliquary just didn't not work at these speeds. i had to bring gnarl down to 181 or else it just didn't seem to hold. he would take his turn early a few rounds in and lose the unkillable just before the boss took his turn.
I've been tweaking a variation of this team after watching Biohack's original videos on first the slower tune, then the faster tune. I run Mistrider Daithi and Gala Longbraids in the 2 DPS spots because my Gala is 6-star awakened and does good damage, and Daithi is awakened enough and gets Decrease Defence out for her. Mine takes around 2.5 minutes, so slower, but obviously no Max HP hits or poison/HP Burn. It's a really nice team concept though on the whole. I'd love to put Mithrala in place of Reliquary, she'd bring about 4 more advantages to the team, amazingly, but obviously I only have 1 Mithrala and I can't get the stats on her to make it work, certainly not Accuracy for poison damage.
Can you show how to go up stage 25? I am guessing same speed tune is not working at lower stages.

Speed and Perception sets (in addition to Lore of Steel) will also mess with your Paragon, Gnarl Horn and Reliquary Tender tunes. I had to bump my Paragon and Reliquary Tender up +1 for the tune to work right as the display speed is rounded up to a whole number.

You would have to use a speed tune calculator to figure out swapping speeds. I would go with these exact ones

This does not work this way for me. After Reliquary cleanse, the boss uses AOE and wipes like 4 of my champs.

Update: Again, thank you very much nub, I am already up to lvl 9 with full auto, but unfortunately cant go further because I lack the awakening levels, so once I get those, I am sure I can get to 25.
problem with this is it does not tell you how to get to 24/25 or whatever the top is , im stuck at 14 and the team does not work there not even manually. PS DID YOU FORGET TO MENTION GNARLHORN HAS TO HAVE THE HIGHEST CRITICAL DAMAGE ?????

Yes but you have to manual it and maybe drop one of the DPS and bring in a 2nd cleanser if you don't have high enough awakenings. For me I had to use Reliquary and Mithralla for stages 21-24.

cant get this to work, my non dps champs are on the exact speed without masteries or spd/tm changing blessings and gnarl loses uk after a couple of turns

This team works only for 25 lvl ? , because I made same team and doesn’t work…😢 for 17 lvl …
It works for other levels but you have to play on manual and some are a bit tricky
Use the same team but replace second dps with a second cleanser.

Built Riho with 284 speed & shes too fast? Used deadwood calculator & it confirms 284.

It would, but not at the same speed, what i did for these level is i do them manually, use both gnarlhorn and paragon unkillable, use coldheart a2 if shes under unfeeble

I don’t think this comp is 100% as weird as it sounds. If you don’t kill the boss quick enough, the speed tune falls apart. Does anyone have something that won’t fall apart? My champs just can’t do it quick enough
why build a high crit damage on gnarlhorn if his a1 cannot crit?

I've finally make this comp works. The only difference is I pair my dps CH with pedyma. Overall run within 6min.

I have these exact speeds with no masteries affecting tm and it does not work. Speed tunes are so frustrating!
I swear plarium mustve changed something because I just had this team working last week but I went to go farm it today and paragon is now so much slower than gnarlhorn and the tunes are messed up... Speeds/masteries haven't changed 1 bit and I went from over 100 runs with 100% success to 10 runs 0% success

Paragons speed is too slow on this guide, i had to up it by one for it to work, having thought about it i suspect its to do with true speed, as mine had 1x perception set on
