This was a fantastic start to the event called Digstock 10. Although we find many arrowheads and other stone tools in this video, the best is yet to come on the next day. I hope you enjoy the video!
I was a rockhound, mostly in the Keweenaw Peninsula of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I never found an arrowhead although I know there are some around. There are lots of hammer stones the ancient ones/Indians (depending on who you want to believe) used to break copper from rocks.
A new digging buddy I meet about a month ago is there . Looks like a lot of fun . And awesome finds as for me im heading to the treasure coast for a 1 month beach dig and then on to Arizona and then Utah find me some spanish gold !
Up here in NH there like hens teeth to find your very fortunate. My buddy lived on Martha's vineyard and has some beautiful sea glass points . I'm jelly
A person I know in the Flemington N.J area had a tomato *& pumpkin farm has found thousands of all types* & sizes If you spent 3/4 of your life looking at the ground you would find them too That's what he always told people
Beautiful Points and Nice Dog. Ive got an All White Staffy Bull that looks just like it. I do some Creek and Field hunting myself. Found a couple the other day but not enough for a video. Going again this weekend. 😎🏹🤙
Awesome chigger, one time digging the entrance to a huge cave me and my friend found a yellow and a red paint ball and after wetting it we war painted our faces and continued digging many cool artifacts that i still have. Unfortunately the paint balls disintegrated after drying out, i was really bummed and sad that i couldn't preserve them.
Ok. Clue me in. I get thousands of years of habitation by various peoples, tribes and the resulting detritus. But how is there such a concentration of artifacts. Is there some historical knowledge that points you to a particular spot or is it just a “seems to be lots kicked up here so we will dig it situation”?
That's so cool you guys save my Indian Heritage and turn in all those artifacts to the Indian Affairs and show them where you find them so they can make a American Indian Heritage spot out of that site

So is this an archaeological dig or a free for all. Could this be a native heritage site of importance.
Man that place is loaded
Where does this take place each year?
Look up "Digstock"
Was great to see you! What an awesome weekend! 😄
Heck with the detector, grab a shovel, that place is loaded with man altered stone 😎😎😎
That lady was 'Steff Digs', she is famous.
Yep, she is a great friend.
What state is that?
State of euphoria…
1st
What happened here that made these native americans leave all there tools behind. Maybe an enemy attack?
