In a short period your have covered the whole world food outlet in just one place - Penang . Even local like me didn't even know they exist, now that I know thank your for sharing👍👍👍
@@Yasin_Affandi Yes, I really enjoy Greg and Jumi's food videos. I just watched a video of them trying Kakang Phool (in Johor) and found a place where you can get that same dish here in Penang. They are the food experts!
Thank you! We went there to eat lunch on a Saturday a few weeks ago but they were closed. We were disappointed because according to Google they should have been open at that time, but we will try again sometime before we leave Penang! Thanks for the tip.
We went to that China Kitchen stall several times to satisfy our dumpling cravings! We stayed pretty close by. The burger and pasta stall at that food court makes a nice pork burger at a good price if you are interested
Good video! Next you must try different street food from hawkers. In 2005 when I was studying in Penang, 90% of our food was from street vendors or small scale restaurants. In that time you could easily eat for 1-2$ inc. drinks. Visit Komtar its cool shopping mall and try renting scooter from Chulia st. for browsing around the island. Have a great adventures!
I love this vlog so much and love the ambience of outlet's and presentation of food was captured and a guide to where we can find reliable outlets to get international food
Woww .. I love this vlog .. as always .. you are really good at summarising everything into one simple but effective presentation of content .. whenever I visit any places or even at my own place, never had I before thought of listing food that I ate and available in this manner .. waiting for your next video on malaysian food in Penang very anxiously 😊
Thanks for your comments Greg and Jumi! After watching your Johor food video a few weeks ago, we decided we needed to try Kacang Phool and found a place here in Penang that has it. So we tried it and loved it! Thanks for your videos.
Wow, a very professionally done reviews on food heavan on earth, Penang. Very informative & excellent cinematography.Perhaps you should have a second video to cover all other countries' food outlet in Penang. 👍🏽
Not sure if you've visited a Bulgarian restaurant named Vintage Bulgaria. It's in Tanjung Bungah area and they are going to close down the business by end of this year. The food there is amazing!
Oh, wow, we didn't know there was a Bulgarian restaurant. I have no idea what Bulgarian food is like so I think this sounds like it would be very interesting and adventurous. Thanks for the tip!
It’s not that the Chinese food here is as authentic as the food in China. It’s mostly authentically Malaysian-Chinese. Many dishes like Char Kuey Teow, Chicken Rice, Fish Head Bihun, Hokkien Mee, Sarawak Laksa, Penang Laksa, Hailam Noodles, Popiah, Pan Mee, Curry Mee, Yee Sang (only available during CNY), Yong Taofu, Tau Sar Piah, O’chien, Chai Tau Ge, Kolok Mee are unheard of, or look very different in China.
Since u have tried so many Asian, Chinese, Malay, indian street food in Malaysia food court..Food centre with around 1.20-1.5usd..When the time u back to US I think will not going any Panda express fast food shop haha..Panda express taste worst to me n expensive..
Yes! We miss Greek food desperately here in Malaysia. On the plus side, we did find real Greek feta cheese, olives and olive oil at a supermarket in Johor Bahru, so we’ve been making Greek salads often

Everything you featured looks absolutely delicious. I can't wait for the Malaysian food video. I bet it's got the world famous Roti Chanai.
The Malaysian food video will definitely have roti chanai! Thanks for watching.

I can recommend Eidelweise, Swiss food, in Georgetown. Really nice owners and good food.

I've lived in Penang all my life and I haven't even heard of some of the restaurants you've been to. Great video!
Such a good list and so nice to see Smoke Papa on it. We love that place.
