I recommend "Hi Ren", "Sick Boi" and "Seven Sins" for more deep rap about his physical and mental struggles. For social commentary I recommend "Dominoes", "Crucify Your Culture", and the Money Game Trilogy. But it is nice to intersperse that with some of his fun rap tracts too like "Losing It", "The Hunger", "Murderer", or his recent Nas retake, "Halftime." You can't pin Ren to one genre though. He has a lot of singing and guitar playing ones too, I especially recommend his singing duets with Chinchilla, his more recent mashups of "Jungle/Message in a Bottle" or his "Fred Again Mashup" or even some of his performances with his old band "The Big Push." We can only ever experience a piece of Ren's art for the first time once, so we are forever trying to re-live that experience through others. He's an overall talented artist. He writes like a modern day bard/poet, sings like an angel, raps like a demon, hip hops, acts, plays the heck out of a guitar, bass, piano, produces most of his own beats, does a lot of his stuff live in one-takes (where he does it 100 times until he gets it right and then uses whichever take is best...and he is just an overall stand-up guy, a beautiful soul, and a huge heart. He's still going through treatment for the havoc that Lyme disease did to his body during his years of misdiagnosis, but he makes music part of his healing journey. And yes, as you said, his music did give him the passion to keep going. He has always had the desire to change the world for the better. Excited to see what you react to next. Most people start with Hi Ren and I definitely recommend checking that out. Seven Sins is another great song about the hell he has gone through, Sick Boi is an expression of his frustrations from being misdiagnosed for years, and Crutch feat. Bibi is a beautiful and heart wrenching song from before he was finally correctly diagnosed, when he didn’t know what was happening to him, and he feared losing his mind. It’s one of my personal favourites. Ren is a hero who has literally saved lives with his art. He is using his growing powers and platform for so much more than simply creating brilliant music. Ren has said that he always had this feeling that he was meant to change the world for the better. So much that he defiantly yelled a challenge to evil into an empty room. And then he got sick… Ren has now shared the full story of his health journey in 8 video chapters leading up to the release of this song and what a journey it has been. If anyone hasn’t already watched them, I highly recommend you do (you can find them on his second channel RenMakesStuff). With all the chapters he is showing immense strength in sharing his story that is so hard to tell, being vulnerable and telling it because he hopes it will help others and raise awareness. And here he is with another rendition of that story, now told through music with a fire beat and delivering a message of hope. Ren is special. Nice to see so many Renegades come out to support!! I know people tend to say this about a lot of artists, but you will never know what to expect from Ren. He masterfully covers so many different genres. Plus he does nearly all of the production on his tracks. Just wait until you hear him sing and play guitar and piano! Getting the license to use the original Vera Hall “Troubles” sample to as very important to him, since the song had special meaning to him during his illness. Ren will be releasing a live acoustic version of this song. And often his acoustic versions are even better than the originals! I agree with others recommending “Hi Ren,” “Sick Boi,” and “Chalk Outlines” (live version). But the Money Game series Parts 1-3 is also incredible. And earlier this year he released a few retakes/mashups, including a retake of Nas’ “Halftime,” a mashup of “Back on 74 / Message in a Bottle,” and a mashup of EDM artist Fred Again songs done on acoustic guitar. His catalogue runs deep, especially when you include his busking band (The Big Push) and his many collaborations. You can’t go wrong however you decide to explore more of his music.

So glad you came back stronger. Great reaction. I hope you do more Ren reactions. We, the Renegades love going down the rabbit hole with new reactors. We can only ever experience a piece of Ren's art for the first time once, so we are forever trying to re-live that experience through others. He's an overall talented artist. He writes like a modern day bard/poet, sings like an angel, raps like a demon, hip hops, acts, plays the heck out of a guitar, bass, piano, produces most of his own beats, does a lot of his stuff live in one-takes (where he does it 100 times until he gets it right and then uses whichever take is best...and he is just an overall stand-up guy, a beautiful soul, and a huge heart. He's still going through treatment for the havoc that Lyme disease did to his body during his years of misdiagnosis, but he makes music part of his healing journey. And yes, as you said, his music did give him the passion to keep going. He has always had the desire to change the world for the better. Excited to see what you react to next. Hi Ren, Chalk Outlines, Seven Sins, The Hunger...all very different genres and sounds, all totally different vibes, but all fabulous and well worth the watch.

Most people start with Hi Ren and I definitely recommend checking that out. Seven Sins is another great song about the hell he has gone through, Sick Boi is an expression of his frustrations from being misdiagnosed for years, and Crutch feat. Bibi is a beautiful and heart wrenching song from before he was finally correctly diagnosed, when he didn’t know what was happening to him, and he feared losing his mind. It’s one of my personal favourites.
Ren is a hero who has literally saved lives with his art. He is using his growing powers and platform for so much more than simply creating brilliant music. Ren has said that he always had this feeling that he was meant to change the world for the better. So much that he defiantly yelled a challenge to evil into an empty room. And then he got sick…
Ren has now shared the full story of his health journey in 8 video chapters leading up to the release of this song and what a journey it has been. If anyone hasn’t already watched them, I highly recommend you do (you can find them on his second channel RenMakesStuff). With all the chapters he is showing immense strength in sharing his story that is so hard to tell, being vulnerable and telling it because he hopes it will help others and raise awareness. And here he is with another rendition of that story, now told through music with a fire beat and delivering a message of hope.

Nice to see so many Renegades come out to support!! I know people tend to say this about a lot of artists, but you will never know what to expect from Ren. He masterfully covers so many different genres. Plus he does nearly all of the production on his tracks. Just wait until you hear him sing and play guitar and piano!
Getting the license to use the original Vera Hall “Troubles” sample to as very important to him, since the song had special meaning to him during his illness.
Ren will be releasing a live acoustic version of this song. And often his acoustic versions are even better than the originals!
I agree with others recommending “Hi Ren,” “Sick Boi,” and “Chalk Outlines” (live version). But the Money Game series Parts 1-3 is also incredible. And earlier this year he released a few retakes/mashups, including a retake of Nas’ “Halftime,” a mashup of “Back on 74 / Message in a Bottle,” and a mashup of EDM artist Fred Again songs done on acoustic guitar. His catalogue runs deep, especially when you include his busking band (The Big Push) and his many collaborations. You can’t go wrong however you decide to explore more of his music.

So there’s a video of Ren celebrating his album hitting number one on the billboard charts in the UK done as an independent, and he is celebrating in Las Vegas, and a reactor, who is an artist, set it up, where Harry Mack desert entire scheme about Ren, watches from the pool and goes crazy! It’s so cool. OK now I’m gonna watch this video and subscribe! By the way, you love all sorts of music this is the right guy for you. Nothing this man can’t do to me he’s like Prince, and Lauryn Hill had a Caucasian baby in 🇬🇧. OK cool. I watched the video. I think your reaction. I subscribe. And like I mentioned, this man does every genre you could think of and you mentioned that you had a tumor. We’re all here and happy you made it through it. He went for eight years with the diagnosis telling him he was crazy And they gave him medicine that just made him worse. His story is very inspiring. You need to watch Hi Ren. It is the song that really made him blow up.
