- For seemingly an eternity, Tornado Shot has been heralded as the best overall juicing or magic find related skill gem (bow gem especially). This league it underwent a heavy nerf, and it was always a bit on the weak side with lower investments. so how does it shape up against the competition when given multiple mirrors worth of gear to work with?

Sorry about the sound quality at some intervals. I set the recording to desktop instead of the game, and I believe that caused undue stress on the system on occasion.
I guess from a certain number of mirrors invested it does not really matter anymore what skill you use 🙂
True, but it's fun to discern the best one nonetheless.
Maybe but you could look at it from another perspective too: If you have unlimited funds, it'll be quite clear which skill actually is better than others.

I remember a little while back you were talking about tankiness of bow chars and i tried to follow as much as i can, but i must be missing something because i cant get my char to be even 10% as tanky, would you be open to do like help your character type of videos is the future? Very nice comparison, both looked good in that juiced map, TS better though. I would love to see lightning arrow too. That is what I am playing. No MF, but I just throw in glittering scarab and I don't think it matters. I got 8 curation scarabs in I think around 60 T17s - sanctuary and fortress which doesn't seem bad. No HH, I have mageblood. And I have usually no real problems with clearing, sanctuary boss is struggle, but more often then not I kill it. And I just use one syndicate allflame on top pack. I think with your gear LA would be godly. I have nothing mirrored, all self crafted. Probably not far from mirror worth build though, but nowhere close to you. I think LA would put ice shot to shame, but not sure about it. xD
Until they rework the mechanics of tornado shot it will always be a good gem

I think tornado shot will be superior when the league mechanic offers additional projectiles at 7*3secondary it just doesn't have the coverage to get ahead of nimis. It does have the advantage of not being melee, so you'll die a lot less.
Im have a really tough time giving up my extremely powerful crafted rare ring with T1 crit multi / T1 elemental damage for a nimbis ring even though I own it and just haven't equipt it all league. Is that really worth it for the damage? Those gloves I need to try soul asensions cause I'm still rocking shadows and dust. I know your rocking that Belton mirror phys bow, 😅 but your damage and survivability just seems to be insane! Not sure how you do so much on unique gear. Ive gotten my immunities and damage to where I can do T17s with no named modifiers, but anything like union of souls and it takes me like 10 years. 😅 Hey I'm learning though. Making a lot work with less. I think I'm like 300 divs or something into my LA build now.
Nimis would double your damage plus has proj damage and dex on the ring so you can run more tattoos on your tree to free up say points in suppression etc…

it all depends on the amount invested into the build. At a certain point, all skills feel the same. In both my STR stacker and my Armour stacker, in which I invested about 4 - 5 mirrors into both, i can basically put in any attack skill and they all just feel the same at some point.
Yeah, I get that. But this is with magic find. Won’t that hurt a strength stacker considerably?
So how does your yoak of suffering work with your secrets of suffering if your technically arent supposed to be able to shock?

u use skitterbots to shock (and chill)
got my tornado shot build up to a pretty high investment this league, no mf, all in on dps, got it to top 5 highest dps on poe ninja. Tried the same level of investment with lightning arrow, and TS takes the cake for me! Tri ele is prob better off going LA, and phys convert is def better to go TS. This was my first time mirroring a bow and a ring, and was a lot of fun to push a build this far :D

Have 2 Deadeye in Sd, League after League updated. one is full Quant, the other is full omni. Ts is the king.

Any advice on how to make Omni feel good? it feels trash compared with Trinity TS 🤷
tornado shot is a lot better after you get more arrows hh buff which is very common. nice video tho
I like nemis for QoL u dont have to aim but tornado feels better with hh buffs for sure

Think TS is still good but takes a lot more money than it did before to feel good. At the end of the day I still like how TS feels more compared to LA or EHotS, so I’ll end up switching to it once my gear feels good enough
Soul Ascensions gloves are build enabling for it now, the more I think about it.

What about ele hit of the spectrum i love that skill it feels great.
It's superb in the beginning, but it has a much lower added damage coefficient on the gem in return for free flat damage. Once your damage is high because of the build investment, it doesn't synergize as well as lightning arrow, ice shot, or tornado shot.
Personally, if not b2b t17 TS still goated, if b2b t17 TS not that good. Mainly bcos of the HH buffs, they still carry the TS a lot

Point blank wouldn’t make sense with Nimis ring since returning projectiles would all be penalized.
Ice shot started off 1 tapping the entire screen, TS had to ramp up to 1 tapping the entire screen. Not really a big difference in this video.

4:33 was I guess my 'gut feeling' response. I also briefly mentioned Soul Ascension gloves enabling it to feel good with high Attack Speed. Also mentioned that the removal of Nimis opens up another magic find ring slot.
