    Hey a few questions as I am also staying in the Oz village
    -What do you mean by “you had to stay on sight”?
    -is there public shuttles running from Oz to Alp day-to-day?
    -overall how easy is the transportation to and from
    Thanks

      Heyy,
      1. The gondolas aka public transport shut at 5:45pm so if you miss it, you go back with the shuttle service which leaves at 1am.
      2. No, just the one at night
      3. The transportation is one of the worst parts about living in another village.

    Hi!, Is there a way to get to the festival, from the town of Auris? (by uber or bus)

    • @Nadiakuznecova
      @Nadiakuznecova Год назад

      We are also going to stay in Auris and were wondering the same thing! We will be renting a car as will be flying in to Lyon but then that means we will have to take turns driving 😅 which we would prefer not to 😂

      No ubers work in that village + we didn't stay in Auris so can't say much on this. Look into travel partners of TML in the area/village and the shuttle service provided by them. Last resort is renting a car in advance!

    How is the car parking situation at the festival? Is there any carpooling options maybe to get to Auris?

    • @mallikaboobna11
      @mallikaboobna11  Год назад

      There was a designated place where the buses were parked, think you can call them in advance to book a parking space. There are multiple hotels near by as well - am sure something can be arranged!

    So as you stayed in Oz and booked with sunweb, how good is there shuttle and till what time we can get back to our hotel through there shuttle service ?

    • @mallikaboobna11
      @mallikaboobna11  Год назад +1

      The shuttle left at 8pm from the meeting point for the hostel and took us an hour to get to the festival. It left the festival at 1/2am from what I remembered depending on when the last set was.
      You cannot choose to take the shuttle when you please - there weren't any options.

    hey thanks for this video!
    I'm planning to just get a 1-day pass just for the experience and I'll be going solo. I have a few questions below:
    1) Any idea if I'm able to book a hostel individually (outside of the package) in Oz for example? Do I need to explore other villages for accommodation which are not part of any packages?
    2) How did u get back to village Oz after the mainstage closes at 1-2am? Uber? Or just stay for the afterparties till morning?
    3) Am I able to setup any tents on the mountains? Have u seen anyone doing it there?
    Many thanks in advance!

      Hi - Happy to give answers based on what I know:
      1. You can definitely book hostels outside the package but it will be v difficult since most accomodation places have partnerships with TML or other partners like Sunweb and provide the same as part of the package.
      2. We went back with the shuttle provided by Sunweb. It leaves the festival at 1/2am from what I remembered depending on when the last set was.
      You cannot choose to take the shuttle when you please - there weren't many options.
      P.S. Ubers are not a thing there!
      3. I didn't see anyone setting up tents on the mountains - plus it was freezing cold so don't think its very viable either!
      Hope it helps - apologies for the late reply!

    Thank you so much for information 😊 so lovely couple 🥹
    I’m wondering that is there any grocery market in Alps de huez?

    • @mallikaboobna11
      @mallikaboobna11  10 месяцев назад

      Hi Sophie - there are a few shops selling basic groceries in every village. But as we said in the video - highly recommend bringing in stuff from your home countries just to be safe since those shops open and close at specific times and are def overpriced.

    Hey hey guys
    Thank you so much for these insights. I just had a few questions would be great if you could help me out with them
    1- How do you recommend getting there ?
    2- Are renting of Ski equipments included in the package ? If not could you recommend where to rent Equipment and hire trainers from and some details on the cost please
    3- The mountain stages shut by evening but till what time are night stages on till ?
    Do let me know if possible
    Thanks guys

    • @mallikaboobna11

      1 - We took a flight from London to Grenoble airport, then a bus to the bus station and then an Uber to the hostel in Oz. I would recommend just getting a bus from the airport straight to Alpe D'uez hence getting accomodation in Alpe D'ue.
      2. You have to purchase on the online store or find a place nearby the site. But it should all come on the add-on sale on the TMW website.
      3. Night stages are open till 1am - 2am I believe. People usually then go to some other place to party like someone's chalet.
      Hope this helps!
