It's good to see that you've made good use of public transit. There are adjustments to make to driving in Canada compared to India and not just the rules, but also the driving environment and the way roads and highways are organized. In the winter, when there is snow, the roads are slippery, so you must drive slowly. If your car starts to slide, take your foot off the accelerator and gently turn the steering wheel in the direction that you want the car to go. If the snow is heavy or the roads are icy, you may want to avoid driving until conditions improve. Public transit is a better option then if available. I give this advice because I've seen accidents on the news involving international students that probably didn't get this advice.
I usually take the 41 - Pickering GO from 407 terminal to Consumers and William Sylvester, very affordable fares, thanks for the tap on and tap off at Go train stations info, appreciated.
First time seeing your video. I am from Ontario. But find it is getting very frustrating for me to drive from north bay ont to Toronto. We do not have any train anymore. Only buses. This video is helpful for people in general where does the go train start?, as I live in North Bay . Thank you
The furthest GO train station north is Allandale Waterfront. The next one down is Barrie South. If you wanted to drive there, the parking is free at both stations. Allandale is a small station so the parking lot there is also small. Ontario Northland buses go to the Allandale Waterfront station, but you may just choose to go all the way to the Union Station Bus Terminal in Toronto if you're taking the bus.
Hey bro , i wanna go sqaure one to durham college oshawa , is there any cheaper plan for bus on weekends sat-sun or just presto card, and can u please explain where we have to tap off inside bus or on station , i m confused…
I don’t think so there is anything cheaper. Sometimes there is a weekend bus pass, you can compare its price with what you pay. You have to tap on and tap off the presto machine in the GO bus. For the GO trains you have to tap on and tap off at the GO station.
Hi today i travelled from oakville to milton via oakville transit then go buses, what happened in oakville driver told me to only tap on not off when i deboarded howerver when i boarded in go buses driver told me tap on and tap off that's fine, what weird part i got charged on every transfer like tap on $0.98 then tap off $0.90 after that stop next one was free if 2 hours of window of free transit why am i charged on each go bus tap and off.
No, you can reload it using your credit card. But if you’ve got a monthly pass, its better to put it on auto renewal with your preferred payment method.
Simply search GO transit train station on maps and it will show directions to the closest one. Once you are there, you’ll find screens showing which trains are coming on which platforms.
I'm going to travel from Brampton to Toronto and it cost me 13 dollar one side via presto ,is there any cheapest card or something where I can save my money as a student
Bro go buses and trains brampton me subah subha college k time mil jati h like student k liye jo 6-7 bje jate hai us time par buses easily mil jati h ? Go buses ?
That means negative balance. Basically your balance on the account is less and the negative amount is like an overdraft. It’ll be adjusted when you recharge next.
That’s strange, are you checking balance for the right card? I suggest next time you should ask a Presto representative, this is so weird. Maybe its just a glitch, who knows!
@@ShotbyMainee really? I heard this first time When we pay $156 a month and make a presto monthly pass Why it will not work I mean on presto website they say presto works with more than 8 bus companies including go bus
Lets say if you stay in Toronto, you’ll be getting a monthly pass (within Persto card) for TTC. So the pass for TTC won’t work for GO but the Presto card will. So basically your Presto card will have to hold your TTC monthly pass AND separate balance for GO. This is so because TTC and GO are separate companies but they both accept Presto Cards as mode of payments. Makes sense?

Heyy, GO train and buses have various routes. You can go on their website and check out the nearest route for yourself: www.gotransit.com/en/
@@ShotbyMainee thank you for the info. I will do

Bro u would have also showed how to see the stations and time it takes to reach a particular station..on any application from where we can see
Usually google maps show it when you search using the transit option. Otherwise you can search on go transit’s website as well.
This is so great. I've been wondering what the journey from home to the station is like.
Really insightful video, Chaitya! 💯
Thank you ☺️

bro if i have presto card ...can i travel daily from brampton to toronto for my college
I think yes... u can
Yes you can, but it might be expensive.
Do you need to link your presto card to a bank account to pay?
No, you can reload it using your credit card. But if you’ve got a monthly pass, its better to put it on auto renewal with your preferred payment method.
Isn't presto card cheaper than buying the standard ticket for the GO bus/train?
I think the prices are similar, it’s definitely more convenient.
Good morning to all my brampton family and friends flower Town one love

Does the monthly pass works when we have to travel from brampton to kitchener on GO train/buses ? Means it will cost us 128 monthly or not?
Monthly pass of $128 is for the regional transport of a city. Intercity transport would have different charges and would cost more.
@@ShotbyMainee oh ! Kk bro thnku
Yaar can you tap presto card on VIVA BLUE - Finch? Is there PRESTO tap machine at each VIVA station?
You can tap it there as well as in the buses also.
If we change two different go buses
Then they take extra charge or it will be considered free when we first tap on first bus?
You tap on and off on any GO vehicle and are charged on every tap off
how to find gotransit train terminal? I mean how can we know from which platform I need to pick train?
Simply search GO transit train station on maps and it will show directions to the closest one. Once you are there, you’ll find screens showing which trains are coming on which platforms.
hi how is it living in the basement? is it really cold in the winter down the basement?
Hey its fine, its all centrally heated so there is no problem.
Such helpful videos are always been expected by u sir..... Sir did u found any psychologist to talk to?
Thanks a lot 😊 Not yet :/
How much did u get paid when u went on go bus. Can u pay cash as well on the go bus?
You can buy ticket on cash from a GO station, otherwise use Presto card to tap and board the bus/train. For this trip, I paid around 10-12 dollars
Informative content 🔥
Thanks 🙏🏻
Upass or Presto card can be used both in trains and busses? Which one is more expensive to travel train or bus
Yes it can be used on trains and buses both. The fair is distance based in both cases.
How do we stop the train for our stop suppose I’m going from mount pleasant to bramalea go station, or does the train stop in every station??
The train stops on every station.
@@ShotbyMainee oh thank you I was scared because I have to take the train to my college from September and it will be my first time so thank you

Bro is there any extra charges for Cycle on gobuses and trains or is it free ? Just passenger ticket ?
Its free 😊
Is there any pass for traveling Mississauga to Toronto
Or Toronto to Mississauga
No I don’t think so there is a pass
Hi, if someone doesn't tap on for go train and just took a ride, then what happens to that person😂?
We have to buy 2 pass if i have to travel from Brampton to Toronto
No, Presto will work
@@ShotbyMainee i mean I have to fill 128+128 on presto that's my question
@@ShotbyMainee for monthly pass
No
Bro can we use cash payment in metro
What if you don’t have a presto card?
You can a purchase ticket from the station counters, just tell them your end destination.
Can i purchase and load Go presto cards in Montreal?
No, GO only operates in the GTA area.
The Presto card is used for the GTA but Ottawa which isn't in the GTA also adopted it, so you can use it locally there.
Nice 👍
Thanks ☺️
Does thetrain stop at every station or do u need to request a stop
No, it stops on every station
Why there is negative sign sometimes I tap off go bus
That means negative balance. Basically your balance on the account is less and the negative amount is like an overdraft. It’ll be adjusted when you recharge next.
