The analog sticks used in the Dualsense controller is the exact same model as the DualShock meaning there is zero difference in tension… it just shows how easily people can be misguided by their superstitions.

@@preciseIyI do own a repair company specialized in controller repairs and what you do say is totally wrong. Both PS4 and PS5 use the exact same alps analog modules with the same tension and Same technique overall.
@@timothyhergert4199 Well unless PlayStation themselves are blatantly lying about what modules and springs they are putting in their controllers then no they are the exact same. It probably feels tighter because it’s newer and springs are more ridged initially and loosen up over time.

I don’t think you understand. The ps4 can be overclocked to only 1000hz. The ps5 can be overclocked to 8000hz. Regardless of if it’s overclocked or not, the ps5 is still better.
i've only ever been using a ps4 controller even throughout MW3. its just that the game nerfs you so hard if your not on the scene for content or MLG. i turned on my Recording and instantly got better at the game with the buffs it gave me. makes me miss old Cod's and halo games. i bet you if the new pro's tried halo reach sniping on console and a T.v. they would flip out and never play it again with snipes.
For some reason, for me anyway, my favorite controller is an msi one. The sticks last longer for me than both genuine xbox and playstation controllers. The tension is just right in them. I used one for 4 years of daily abuse and could still put the deadzones on 0 with no drift. That and it is shaped like the tried and true xbox 360 controller.
@TBPE most people have only ever used playstation controllers just because they are more popular, I would take a nintendo switch controller over a Playstation controller any day and so would everyone I know. Any $40 xbox or switch controller is better than every $300 Playstation controller, cope somewhere else
PS4 controller is the best controller ever made… simple, the sticks are the same but the tensioners are different.
PS3 dome sticks are 10x better than ps5 or ps4. PS4 got a great shape tho. Ps5 last 3x longer for me as well. I also play claw.

Yeah. I played claw for over 10 years but the PS5 controller is CHEEKS
you get used to it and adjust. I had to switch my claw from on O and X to square and triangle which made it better
