So glad your season has started as I’ve been missing your vids. I think my favorites are the ones like this where it’s just you and Haley out on your own. So cool to see the way you interact with each other. Thanks for sharing what you do.
Wooo hooo, your back. We are a family of Aussie Mountain biker's. We love all your video's, most of which we have now seen a couple of times. Looking forward to your new content. 🌟 Cheers Jeff
Going off that log 22:43 seemingly without a thought or comment was cool. You get the most out of the what the trail has to offer. If I could unplug my brain, maybe I could have that much fun.
"some sticks" haha I carry a fold out 11" saw in my camelback when riding my local trails and I think I'm at 6 decent size trees I've been able to cut and clear.
Little River is kind of in this weird spot where it has one of the most fun flow trails that ends halfway up the fire road and nothing else. There's not enough there to make a video on.
Found your channel about a month ago and I am mesmerised by your riding ability and style! Really inspiring to see you taking such unique line, makes me want to try it out myself on the trails :) If you ever came to England you should check out Windhill, Rogate and BikePark Wales, you'd smash those trails up! Thank you for these videos :)
What brakes and pads? SRAM G2 or Codes? Have you found stock/oem SRAM metallic is best or MTX red or gold, Galfer or something else is best for stopping power and longevity? Or is it choose stopping power vs longevity?
Drummer Hill, in Keene is where the video is from. Depending on where you're at, the state is covered in great biking: North Conway has a ton, PRKR Mtn in Littleton, BTA in Bethlehem, Bear Brook in Allenstown, Arrowhead Mtn in Claremont, and Highland Mtn in Northfield.
@@jacobgeil9376 I’ll make note of these. I’m in Goffstown and have trails legit out my back door that aren’t on any map which is nice. And have my ticket for highland lol. But thanks for the reply.
Oh no :( I wish you lived in a 1st world country where cost of surgery is zero like in the developed part of the world. I feel for you and I hope your foot gets better Halie (spellcheck?).
i kind of talked about my personal preference at different points in the video. Hailey has a different riding style and she likes the extra confidence a bigger bike gives her.
Dude this morning I literally thought to myself, wow it's been a long time since I've seen a skills with Phil video! Lol

Good to see you guys again !!👏🏼👏🏼👊🏼
Great to see you back on the trails Phil! Awesome video as always
Looking forward to the Highland Bike Park video. That is always a good one.
Nice, been waiting for this.
Have a nice season Phil!
I love the goofy moments between you and Hailey!
Have you ever considered a Sven Saw? Very lightweight. Very compact. I always take mine hiking to clear out the occasional fallen tree if needed.
I’m a simple man, I see a skills with Phil video, I click.
same 😎🤙
Phil! DUDE! How do you make it across the jarring bumps and weaving through the trees so fast! Amazing! Glad Haley is doing so well post op!
Phil, Doug and Riley have freshed up Drop and Cutes, around the stream crossing, it runs pretty sweet right now.
Doug mentioned something about that. I'll have to check that out
Phil is the fastest thing on two wheels! No way could I get down parts of that trail as fast as you
hes fast very fast faster than most pros
On IG, I did NOT pick up on the skipper option in that line. nice one!!
looks like Cadys Falls Nursery in Morrisville, Vermont.
Can you upload more POV vids at bike parks this summer?
Awesome video. Do you have any recommendations for full finger gloves for summer rides?
Hey Phil if you get a chance this season I think a video at little river state park would be awesome! I'd love to see you ride the trails there
Little River is kind of in this weird spot where it has one of the most fun flow trails that ends halfway up the fire road and nothing else. There's not enough there to make a video on.
Would love to see your route for this ride, I live in Northwest MA/Southern VT and Keene is so close!

Those places look so much fun honestly!
@@SkillsWithPhil Yeah totally, pretty compact in size but loads of variety!
The GT Sensor seemed to be stellar on that ride!
Been a hot minute since I’ve been on a bike! Making easy work of drop & chute and private stock!
What brakes and pads? SRAM G2 or Codes? Have you found stock/oem SRAM metallic is best or MTX red or gold, Galfer or something else is best for stopping power and longevity? Or is it choose stopping power vs longevity?
That tree is one gnarly feature
I heard that cady hill in Stowe just opened
Yeah, this is on the short list of places to go this summer
Great to see your videos again! I have missed them!
That is very fine Jank indeed!
back where it all started!
Oh man, that is some fine af jank
You should shred Vietnam in MA sometime!
Suuuuuuuper jank but super sick!!!
Do Leominster state forest in MA.
that looked so familiar drummer hill i think
Damn! Sick riding
I’ve heard those maple syrup thingies are good
Phil I’m running at camp at kingdom trail in July. Are you available for a guest speaker ride.
Hi
Welcome back! Missed you guys... 😃🙏🏼
I'm loving the color of the Sensor.
It looks so much better in person. The color never shows up well in videos!
@@SkillsWithPhil What is GT's official name for that color?
Welcome back, keep them coming 👍
Why remove the little logover it looked fun
U gotta try fort rock I think you would like it
What's the powerline trail called?
Yo Phil sick vid you going to highland opening day?
New Trails? There's a new trail down in North Carolina? Think you've heard about it, Berm Park? Haha. Cant wait to see you down there!
Great video!
9:11 what crossed the trail? a squirrel? love the videos phil
Sick Video my dude!🔥
“Hard to relax on these trails” lol doesn’t seem like relaxation is exactly what ur after dude 😝
Welcome back!
Great vid Phil
is that GT not good for climbing?
Might just be me getting old but I find Drummer Hill to be a very physically demanding place to ride, up or down!
It's not the easiest, it's pretty physically demanding no matter which direction you're headed.
YES!
I might be missing something but where is this
yay bike season!!
Grew up in Keene. Just got back into biking so I'm excited to get down this summer and ride the trails on drummer and Stonewall farm NEMBA trails.
Good stuff Phil 🤩🤘🔥
New englanders are the most well rounded riders : fact.
*blinks in British Columbian*
nice videos 👍🏻🤙🏻
That Jank!!! Reminds me of Texas Hill Country, come to Texas during next winter cause we can ride all year :)
Nice
WHAT TRAIL SYSTEM IS THIS?
I list the locations at the beginning of the video.
Where in New Hampshire is this? Just moved here and looking for fun trails.

Been a while nice trails 👌👌👌
Awesome. Been waiting to see some of your vids. How's your Element doing? Did it survive another salty winter?
RIP element. All the mechanical parts were good but even the auto body wouldn't touch it had gotten so rusted. I miss it dearly.
@@SkillsWithPhil That's a bummer for sure. Rust kills them. Wish Honda still made them, and so do a lot folks.
Hey Phil. What grips do you have on this bike?
The Ergon DH grips, dh1 i think they are called.
Phil is Back!
Oh no :( I wish you lived in a 1st world country where cost of surgery is zero like in the developed part of the world. I feel for you and I hope your foot gets better Halie (spellcheck?).
The U.S where he lives is a first world country
@@grahaml3097 It's a late stage capitalistic hellscape, not a first world country.
It’s that time of year 🤙🏽🤙🏽
New England clam chowder.... is that the red or the white? "I can never remember that.... white?
New England chowder is the white creamy style, Manhattan is the red tomato based style
@@SkillsWithPhil its off of Ace Ventura: Pet Detective
If the Yari is good enough for Hailey, it should be good enough for my first full susp bike I imagine?
Yes. The Yari is a great fork for your first FS.
The world is just a bunch of doubles
He's back!!!!!
I would say fort rock in Exeter has janky-er trails
Phil... Hope you and Hailey are well. It's been awhile since your last video. What is your reason for a 140/130 bike while hers is much more?
i kind of talked about my personal preference at different points in the video. Hailey has a different riding style and she likes the extra confidence a bigger bike gives her.
for most, almost all, include the DH bike park of Ontario, 140 is all you need
This is some proper New England jank!
you have so nice bike skills hope you both are fine 👋🏻

¿Yes?
At 3:08. Some trials work there would take less time than that trail work. :-)
DID SOMEONE SAY JANK??
That bike is so silent
Cutest couple on you tube!

Come ride creek this weekend!
its April 26th today LOL
I see you have a calendar. 👍
Public Comment...
Don't worry Phil... I fart a lot on trail too.
Just wandered why u didn't upload for awhile
hi phil
I think I am actually first for once 😳
So when are you and the pretty little wife gonna fill the forest with mini Kmetz's in full squish mode ?
