tbh I think i would enjoy this with modified rules to play like Egyptian Ratscrew, where instead of getting rid of all your cards the object is to collect all the cards. First slap on a match wins the pile, whoever wins the pile starts the next round. If someone flinches/incorrectly slaps/says the wrong word, they sacrifice a card to the pile, otherwise same rules. If anyone else tries it this way, let me know!

I imagine that it doesn't count for already played cards. Only for the one that is currently being played. The played without any cards is just saying a word to keep the cycle/rhythm, since they could still "lose" a round by forgetting it's their turn or saying the wrong thing
We play that the word you say can still match the card already on the table and therefore people have to go for it. I'm looking for an answer from people on this exact rule as my sister plays it differently.

I got some card from meeting the creator of the game it says “you met Dave” and the action for it is u have to wave and then slap the pile

As long as you aren't the last one to smack the pile you win!

The last person to slap the pile must take all the cards from it. The goal of the game is to have 0 cards left.
So it’s literally just slap that you can play using a solitaire deck
