Just stumbled upon your channel through this video, amazing work! I want to ask you, how did you reach C1-C2 in multiple languages, especially, what's your methodology in learning and memorizing new vocabulary?
Great question. I use the same method that I used to create this course. In a nutshell: I do my best to make things memorable by creating vivid associations in my mind. Then lots of repetition, exercising, and I regularly take tests to track my progress (that's why I created so many exercises in the paid version: yula.app ). As soon as I'm confident enough, I travel abroad to practice with native, local speakers. I have lived, at least for a while, in every country whose language I have studied. Last, I try to work in the language I'm studying. For instance, creating these courses helped me practice my Italian and English. (My Italian channel is here: www.youtube.com/@RussoYula ). Having a job to do, a goal, is super important!
Very helpful overview. Just one suggestion if you update the lessons. “А” shouldn’t be associated with “up.” The usual English analog is to ‘father” or for British speakers maybe “glass.’ Up is really more for the unstressed Russian О. (спасибо). Thanks.
How are you Eula ! I have a very important question for you : do Russian native speakers use the grammatical cases in their ordinary and everyday speech ? because they pose a challenge for foreigners learning Russian !
@@englishteacher9865 yes, they do. The Russian language needs cases just as English uses prepositions. Imagine speaking English without prepositions, it’s going to be a mess!
@@RussianYula thank you ! so this means the average Russian native speaker regardless of education level is grammarly competent ! this is amazing indeed !

Well, if you want to learn to speak before you read… you mean like children do? They learn to speak before going to school and they don’t know the Latin alphabet. So, you need no letters at all. Just listen and learn if you believe it’s possible and it works better for you ;)
