I recommend the movie 'Wesele' by Wajda from 1973. not only because it is a brilliant adaptation of the most important drama from the so called Young Poland period in Pollish culture, but because it convincingly recreated the atmosphere of real country wedding receptions from the beginning of the 20th century so it has also ethnographical value
@@AminaZalewska it is worth mentioning that at the time when this play was written (1900) and premiered in the theater (1901), the townspeople of Krakow (especially the intelligentsia of Krakow) and peasants from nearby villages lived in completely different worlds. some even thought that in the villages 20 km from Krakow, they did not speak Polish, but some Ruthenian dialect. Polish peasants practically did not take any part in January Uprising of 1863 and generally did not share the independence aspirations of the upper social classes. this is the historical context of the play. the memory of Galician slaughter (1846) was still vivid contrary to what one of the wedding participants says "Myśmy wszystko zapomnieli; mego dziadka piłą rżnęli".
@@AminaZalewska ok, a little more about the actors in the movie. I can't imagine a similar production nowadays, because unfortunately the level of acting is much lower and we lack such outstanding personalities. many of them played the main roles in the most famous Polish films and tv-series. for a Polish-cinematography lover naming at least 20 actors shouldn't be challenging. later on as many as three of them acted as the president of the Association of Polish Stage Artists, a few of them were also threater directors themselves

Hello Amina! Outfit looks good :-) So you had a Polish wedding experience, ha!
Thanks, Agnes; I brought it from Algeria ^^ Have you been to a Polish wedding?
@@AminaZalewska My own wedding was to most extent Polish :-)
Hi Amina great video, especially thanks for showing the wedding at the end.
And lovely hair style 😘
Thank you Beata!.
It is not easy to film things for RUclips during a family event. Where you do not want to expose them neither.
