  • 1. A line of retired PCC cars parked at Septa's Germantown Depot.
    2. A pair of PCC cars on route 23 at Chestnut Hill. This line had been shut down, but Septa was operating a heritage trolley operation on weekends at this point.
    3. A trainset on the Broad Street Line headed south from the Fern Rock terminal.
    4. A southbound PCC car on Germantown ave near Mermaid Lane.
    5. A pair of vintage Red Arrow cars operating as the Penn's Landing Trolley.
    6. A pair of trains on the elevated over West Market street.
    7. A westbound Subway/Surface car on route 34 at Baltimore st.
    8. A pair of Subway/Surface cars at 40th street.
    9. The 69th st terminal of the Market Frankfort line.
    10. Ex Chicago cars on the Norristown line & a Market Frankfort train at 69th st.
    11. Sharon Hill & Media line cars at the 69th st terminal.
    12. Departing & Arriving Norristown cars at 69th st.
    13. The waiting room in the 69th st station.

    The Septa System is a myriad of many types of equipment that requires a huge amount of skill to keep it running long after parts are no longer being made. Machinists at Septa will never run out of work !!

    Drove Bus and trolley and retire on Broad st as a Stationman 33 yrs enjoy every minute of it...Philly have the best riders from Mt Airy to North South and West Philly can't leave out Kensington and Frankford...we call the 22 and 55 the Country Club runs...lol

    Mostly trolley videos barely saw Buses or subways or even commuter rails

    We need to utilize all of the trolley tracks still in Philadelphia. It's a travesty not to use them.
