I have question is it good as only one family car - i wonder as i think of buy one for my family 2+2 (3 and 5yo children). Now driving titanium mk3 1.6 ecoboost on 18" rims and the comfort is enough i wonder if the ST will be not annoying on longer drives with family as for myself i can drive it hard just to have fun :) Is it good on highway (comfortable?). What is real fuel consumption in city and highway or outside city.
@@TestyRoznychRzeczy Hi Tom, you can drive it in normal mode which is very comfortable even with the sports seat and 19" rims. I never had somebody comeplaining about the comfort. The volume of the exhaust in the interioir is also very decent if you drive it in normal mode, no loud cracks and bangs that might annoy your wife or childrens. The sport or track mode on the other hand is exactly what you can expect from a hot hatch like this one! If you're driving alone or with your wife you can switch the mode and fully enjoy the sound and speed. For city I had around 12-13 liters per 100km. For highway its around 10-12 liters per 100km. But I'm driving a lot in sports mode... so you might can count minus one liter if you drive more normal.
Ford already hinted at making the next (and last?) update of the Ford Focus ST a hybrid. Perhaps we'll see a smaller engine then paired with a hybrid system.
I love how these look! Not a big Ford fan but I like the new sleek and sporty look on a wagon. Did I miss it or was there no cup holders in the front seats?? And damn those seat adjusters are a let down. I would have expected more from 2020 car since my 98 Mercedes-Benz has better options and layout for adjusting the seats.

I don’t think Ford will survive ... the quality of the cars is so bad. A friend of me has a 5 year old Fiesta, nothing but problems. My wife has a 6 year old Focus wagon (new bought) and the water is leaking trough the roof and now her trunk is a swimming pool. The paint is coming of and the rubbers on the doors fall of. My neighbour bought the new focus and it feels like a kids toy, no quality at all.
@@RC75 You have right about the Rubbers on the doors - had this issue but a bit special glue fixed issue forever. In my 2011 Focus 1.6 ecoboost titainum i had only 2 issues - one was battery since beginning it looks like to weak for the car - i haven't drive it too much and the power of baterry go down from time to time then i am having some longer ride or need recharge the battery - one time some turbo pipe got loosen and i had to get into service to put it back on and tight more. But thats all for 103000 km. The car is 11 yo and looks almost like new. So the quality isnt very bad. My brother has Skoda Superb and the interior is not very good in my opinion - maybe its rock stable but for me looks simple and tacky. The VW passat is also very boring inside. This small cockpit in new focus i like more than the one in mk3 because it was too heavy and comes too near the driver and limits the interior size a lot and the comfort in getting to the gas pedal.
I like very much the way you show every detail of a car in just 8 minutes. No unnecessary comments, just showing the actual car. Thumbs up !

I have a 2015 ST estate. Had the car for almost 4 years, hasn't missed a beat.
