I am having my hip replacement tomorrow, (April 15, 2024) and I can't tell you how much I appreciate your videos and channel. You have made me so much more informed about how to accomplish daily activities while I'm recuperating, it really has put my mind at ease. Only regret is once I'm recovered I won't have a reason to watch 🙂! Keep up the great work!
Thanks for the great content! 48 hours past my anterior right hip replacement surgery and your videos have helped me already. Hotel room not ADA has been a challenge. Plus have had a lot of low back pain that’s worse than the pain in my hip. Just woke up from back pain at 1am after Hydrocodone 1.5 hours ago looking for relief.
Really appreciated and found all your videos about what to do after a hip replacement so important in my recovery. Now at the five month mark since my surgery I just want to say thank you.
I am so glad I found your channel. I recently had hip replacement surgery anterior approach called the jiffy hip . It is day surgery. Your videos helped me soooo much! Especially the ride home! 💕💕
When I broke my hip (repaired with plate and screws, but same issues), I found the leg-lifter too unwieldy. I didn’t feel in control, so my native-Kenya physical therapist recommended a knotted twin sheet, Worked great in the shower too.
Appreciate this! My mom is scheduled to have left hip replacement in about a month but has a sedan. Is this something I should be concerned? She also has MS so it is hard for her to get in/out of taller vehicles.
I am just concerned she won’t be comfortable with step stool to get in my SUV. But I guess we can try it prior to surgery. Thoughts would still be appreciated. Also she had shoulder replacement surgery 6+ months ago and helped greatly with her recovery for that surgery! 😊

Do you have any videos for people who recently had their leg amputated? Love your videos very helpful for my mom 🙌🏽

You can find it here!

Wouldn't it just be easier to sit in the rear of the car on the driver side that way you could enter with your right leg instead of your operated leg
I thought the hips have to be higher than the knees, but your hips are lower than my name is???
