eXite Video Magazine they can do it if you want to try it! I checked with my contact and evidently they’ve shipped a couple 350Z kits over in the past.👍
jacob reichard thank you! Yeah, I think kouki pieces are being planned! Injection molds are pretty complex and expensive though so I’m sure it takes a while🐢❤️
I fully.... FULLY support you going lowstyle😁 would be tiiiight!!! Can't wait to see the kit on the car, and the major differences between the two kits
Austi JB haha thank you, dude! I’ll at least split the difference to get it more stylish👌 I’ll definitely show the install process and will try to point out the differences in my old and new setups in one of those videos! The trans rebuild is next😳
409- Phine for sure! It was a cool day when we opened them but they’ve all unfolded and look great! Ben mounted his but I just got my car back together and haven’t started on bodywork yet😅
It’s mostly the heat. Bring them inside, if you have a sliding door you can set them by it when the sunlight is shining in. You don’t have to cook em but they unfold pretty easily in the summer 👍🏻
crimsonskye thanks for the comment, good question. I actually ordered from Irving directly and found out about the option from him. I don’t know if it’s listed on their site but I’m sure if you contact them you can ask what options are available for a given bumper, if any✌🏻
ghharg2 Ben G.’s gonna get his together the soonest, it actually just went to paint so I should be able to show how his came out soon! Then mine will be next👌
Ray Lafo they made stuff for the ‘Lude? That’s pretty cool, I used to ebrake “drift” one with a good friend of mine back in the early days. 5 months sounds...not surprising for a preorder😅
I appreciate the vid bro, quick question I’m looking at getting a navan either KBD or OEM navan front for my s14 (similar price range - oem is clean but not perfect). Having seen the quality which would you go with if you were in my position? P.s. I don’t drift it
Jaygoesin To be fair I haven’t compared the two products personally, but from looking at our S-chassis parts I don’t think you can go wrong with a KBD product. Fitment and quality is👌 IMHO the biggest challenge is mounting: polyurethane is flexible and indestructible, but it’s also significantly thicker and heavier than FRP and as far as I can tell, more flexible than ABS. So you have to put a little thought into mounting a bumper to ensure it won’t sag under its own weight in some spots. If you’re having a shop do it or have some basic DIY skills I don’t think it will be a problem, but I for sure can’t mount a poly front S13 bumper by 4 bolts in the center like I do my FRP one. Hope this helps, HMU anytime if you want more info✌️
Jaygoesin thank you, I’m glad to help! I’ll be fitting, painting and installing my poly bumper and sideskirts this winter so you can look forward to seeing videos on the process I use in the coming months! :)
Complexpanda I honestly don’t remember at this point what was used. That said, I’m pretty sure they’ll fit the type x ones, everything is cut to fit on bodykits anyway 🤷🏻♂️
Cars Simplified yeah, KBD has a fair bit of savings to offer on shipping! Their stuff is bulletproof unless you drag it across the ground for quite a while. Impact damage is almost non-existent 😅
2jzrob got my tracking number in about a week and arrived 3 or 4 days later! Generally Injection molding components are quick to run when the machine is set up for that part, but if you catch them off rotation and have to wait for a few other parts to roll thru it can take a while. You can always ask KBD when they are gearing up to do a part run if you want to time your order for fast shipping. 👌
Yudi 0312 they’re about half the size of an S13 side skirt if I had to guess. A little over 1/3 the size of an S13 front bumper. I don’t have measurements offhand but hope that helps😅
Hope this vid helped you consider whether a poly kit is for you! If it did, do me a favor and hit like or subscribe! :)
Idk these guys but they seem so chill and their convos just flow lol
MAX AUX the drift homies 🤙🏻 You can see tandems with em in some of my more recent vids!
Upgrade for this kit ,i'm looking for the rear wing , it's plug and play or no ? thanks
I've really been thinking about bringing a KBD kit over to Japan....would last longer than fiberglass!
eXite Video Magazine they can do it if you want to try it! I checked with my contact and evidently they’ve shipped a couple 350Z kits over in the past.👍
I wish they made kouki pieces. This stuff looks killer!
jacob reichard thank you! Yeah, I think kouki pieces are being planned! Injection molds are pretty complex and expensive though so I’m sure it takes a while🐢❤️
I don't see the next video where you fit and paint these kits? How did it go?

What is the name of the instrumental with the piano playing in the background?
Travis Polite Hey Trav! I believe the BGM in this one is “The Process” by Lakey Inspired ✌️
You have to put them in the heat or a heater for hour till open up
409- Phine for sure! It was a cool day when we opened them but they’ve all unfolded and look great! Ben mounted his but I just got my car back together and haven’t started on bodywork yet😅
Do they go to normal shape just by the sun or is it the heat that does it. I have a side skirt to mount but it’s winter
It’s mostly the heat. Bring them inside, if you have a sliding door you can set them by it when the sunlight is shining in. You don’t have to cook em but they unfold pretty easily in the summer 👍🏻
I didn't know you could order a bumper with no turn signal lights. How did you order that option on their website?
crimsonskye thanks for the comment, good question. I actually ordered from Irving directly and found out about the option from him. I don’t know if it’s listed on their site but I’m sure if you contact them you can ask what options are available for a given bumper, if any✌🏻
Really good editing love videos guys good luck
i am Puga awesome, thank you for saying so! There’s more car goodness to come so stay tuned! 👋
I am now highly intrigued to see these on the cars hahaha
ghharg2 Ben G.’s gonna get his together the soonest, it actually just went to paint so I should be able to show how his came out soon! Then mine will be next👌
ghharg2 plus I posted some videos of mine after letting them take shape to my instagram @kametrick
Pre-ordered BB6 bumper on 03/2019 & jus got it today, 2000 Prelude...😜
Ray Lafo they made stuff for the ‘Lude? That’s pretty cool, I used to ebrake “drift” one with a good friend of mine back in the early days. 5 months sounds...not surprising for a preorder😅
Yeah, this is da 1st batch that they made, pre-paid $500 & 4got about it since no idea how long it takes 4 them to make it.
Ray Lafo I’m sure it depends on how many ppl pre-order✌🏻
I think their target was 25 before they started making it..
Ray Lafo sounds reasonable to me 🤔 🤷🏻♂️
Did you ever get around to paint. these sound like a hassle, adhesion promoter, flexible primer and paint and probably clear
so how do you add blinkers?
The same way you would for an FRP bumper...make a hole, bolt them in and wire them up?? 🤔

Kame Trick thanks brother! I appreciate the video btw and definitely will do. You got a new sub for sure
Jaygoesin thank you, I’m glad to help! I’ll be fitting, painting and installing my poly bumper and sideskirts this winter so you can look forward to seeing videos on the process I use in the coming months! :)
What turn signals were used with the gp bumper?
Complexpanda I honestly don’t remember at this point what was used. That said, I’m pretty sure they’ll fit the type x ones, everything is cut to fit on bodykits anyway 🤷🏻♂️
i left my sideskirts out for like 2days amd they are still bacon
Weird, mine look good 🤔 They exposed to enough heat or is it cold where they are. IIRC the temperature is a factor
@@KameTrick im thinkiny heatgun
Interesting way to ship that stuff!

How long did it take to get your kit after ordering?

Size box?

Ever tried a poly kit? They're pretty neat!
♥1 like = 1 drift run I don't crash on♥
