I just jump them tho but I have a bmx a scooter roller blades and a skateboard but it got stolen so I only have box and scooter and roller blades bit j also have a mount bike
+cakeless coder idk that but it don't go to the park forittho cos I not allowed sky down me road I do it and it ok we made ramps we did then they get stolen so we had a a good one the wall so we would jump it and then some stolen it so we use the curbed yiu can see in me bid I do it cos we don't have r,apps I used jump so high in a ramp tho and I like e me bmx
One thing he forgot to mention. When your going in sideways make sure your front wheel is on an angle, not parallel with the edge. If you ride straight down sideways your tires will slip and you'll stack(happened to me before😂😂)
Dear Adam: Just ordered my first BMX bike, i used to do some when i was in second grade(14 now in 9th grade) and i was always afraid of dropping in, I live in central NY and im heading to Cranx indoor/outdoor bike park in 2 weeks with my 2 bmx friends, Im going to use your tips to get around and such, and learn over the next couple weeks, i have a MTB right now because i ride a long distance to my friends neighborhood and we bike around, occasionally i get on his bike and do a manny and JHops, work in progress of course. Used to hit box jumps in vermont and ride the half pipes and small stuff. Anyway, thank you for your vids. (The bike i ordered was from danscomp, United Recruit JR, Metallic blue and 20" top tube. Friend said that his buddy used to have it and it was an amazing bike.
Oh my God thank you so much when I went down the 6 foot ramp at my skate park I thought I was going to face plant on the ground but because of you I didn't thanks 👍👊😃
Dude Adam. Please please please make more videos like this? They're great and you're awesome at bmx. You're backyard ramp is 10x the size of that, you're a sponsored pro, and you've barely filmed bmx in the last two months. Please make a how to
Guys here's a tip for learning almost anything. When you're learning get some music that gets you pumped, and just go for it. Most of the things in bmx are just about doing it once and then you've pretty much got it dialled because you're no longer scared.
LOVE your tutorials. EXTREMELY helpful, unlike most. BTW, I'm a skater, and I want to get into BMX somewhat. The only bike I have is a 2010 Diamondback Option. Is it any good? It was the only bike under like 400 without massive sprockets and 1 peice cranks lol.
Same here. Its funny i can drop in on steep quarters with no coping that are like 12 feet high. But i can get the nerve yet to drop in on a 4 foot quarter with a coping.
Adam lz thanks so much Cuz I just got back into riding 3 weeks ago and I already got my tailwhips etc back. I completely forgot how to drop in lol. But thanks bro
I see Dugan do the 2nd drop in the most and I feel that would be more comfortable I'm not very sure since I just started but it would be cool if you could reply to it since your the one giving the info (I don't like keeping my pedals even and I'm not very sure if that would mess me up)
I am just a little scared to like fall face first to flat.. But I will try the peg one to get me comfortable haha but thanks I have been checking out your vids you are really good!
ooo i've got a suggestion, you should do feeble and smith stall on quarter how to's, even though i can do 'em fine now getting into smith is hard and getting out of them both smooth is weird when you first try!
he is pro... he has been in the come up and has had some sponsores + u dont need to be rich to have a ramp in ur back garden + if he was to ''gtfo'' then his 50,000+ subscribers across his channels would not be happy + also he is just trying to help people learn new tricks and your hating on him... what do u do to help the bmx community... get a life and learn about what your commenting on
dropping in is so scary the first time lol. same with airing out. I learned to drop in on a 5ft qp and after the first time I wasnt scared anymore. it was literally like going down a hill. and aired out on a 10 ft qp that was scary as fuk. I didnt even air out I like rolled outta the qp with just enough speed. sketchy
i droped in on a nine foot yesterday, i fell then got up and did it again, i fell again then i came home started going on the computer and i see this damn do i wish i would've watched this earlier
+Ryan McDevitt Tip: The higher you pull your front tire you higher you will go. When you bunny hop you pull up your front tire then level out the back tire with it.
The ramp at the skatepark I go to is really awkward because it has these big thick bars on the top of the ramp where the wheel of a scooter would usually sit on. Its to scary!
my first time dropping in was before I even learned to bunnyhop and i got it first try i didnt think it was something you learned, I assumed it was something you just do.
Ive skated for years and can drop on about anything with my board, but i just recently started BMX, so since im used to ramps...should I be worried going in on a bike? is it easy? im just looking for some confidence
does it matter witch way you drop in cause im left foot forward and ur right so does it matter or not ive been dropping in straight just cus i learnt that way i wanna try doing it the other ways like in your vid tho
i have been riding for 5 year but i came of nearly broke my coller bone but litarey just got back on bike and now i am scared to drop in i could jump in on a bike but now i can hardly do anthing
I can only turn right .idk why but can 180 left at all and I'm left foot forward so that has everything to do with it but how do I get used to jumping left
I 180 to the right i one footer to the right i one hander to the right i whip to the right and in all i am right foot forward ......but i drop in to the left.
Okay I take it back, I went to the skatepark today, the time I was talking about was in some crappy skatepark with smallramps or whatever you call them, but this was a bigger skatepark that I went to and I couldn't drop in for shit there
at the skate park i go to im just teach myself to ride i can do jumps and ramps but the only way for me to work on dropping in is a bowl and i havent figured out how to jump back out i cant get enough speed or something any tips man?
I needs some help.. I just got a new Mirraco five star nmx bike and when i ride with only one front peg, my whole tire loosens and the side that the peg is on is the one thats always loose.
56 people ride scooters and are mad because they can't clear a speed hump without scraping.
love your profile pic, man. killjoys, make some noise
I just jump them tho but I have a bmx a scooter roller blades and a skateboard but it got stolen so I only have box and scooter and roller blades bit j also have a mount bike
Kieran Minec yeah, but so many kids get scooters and then just ruin lines in parks and scrape everything.
Kieran Minec you are like 2
Super helpful. Even though its a simple tutorial about dropping in it helped me with vert confidence so thanks bro.
One thing he forgot to mention. When your going in sideways make sure your front wheel is on an angle, not parallel with the edge. If you ride straight down sideways your tires will slip and you'll stack(happened to me before😂😂)
this is the best 'drop in' video i've seen so far! it's helped me so much! THANK YOU!!

Bro this vid was so helpful thx. All i was scared about its my sprocket scraping the coping and i'd fall off or something
I'm petrified dude. Have to do it though.

Ive watched countless videos. I need your courage. Ive dropped in on big quarterpipes without a coping. But not even small ones with a coping.
Thanks man, I watched this half an hour ago, was able to drop in first try

@guzmanjose24 already have a how to air out...
thanks I've been scared and I watched your vid and tried and learnd thanks man
Nice video quality...
can you make a how to bunny hop higher vid please
+Ryan McDevitt Tip: The higher you pull your front tire you higher you will go. When you bunny hop you pull up your front tire then level out the back tire with it.
LZ you rock my world
video on how to 180 over the coping back into the quarter pipe?
what are the dimensions of your halfpipe? nice video btw!
Hey am new to bmx and i need help with bunnyhops cus I can't seem to lift the back wheel when am riding it
Thanks for this vid it gave me the confidence to drop in
thanks for the advice and by the way nice drop
nice casual switch whip
If u don't hav pegs can u still droP in like that or do the other way, I prefer the other way but it would be nice to try the others too bro.
@xpirateface Basically, you just have to trust your bike. If you can drop in with a skateboard, you can drop in with a bike.
I love you bmx !!!)))
Firstly what a tail whip secondly thanks real gd video
Ive skated for years and can drop on about anything with my board, but i just recently started BMX, so since im used to ramps...should I be worried going in on a bike? is it easy? im just looking for some confidence

does it matter witch way you drop in cause im left foot forward and ur right so does it matter or not ive been dropping in straight just cus i learnt that way i wanna try doing it the other ways like in your vid tho
Woah Adam your accent 😂😂😂
i tried riding in at an angle, like about a 45 degree angle because there wasn't much room, and i still caught my sprocket on the coping.
u are pro!!!!! What are your sponsers????
like the Tail whip
ive started bmx and i really like it i was a scooter guy but found it boring
I have pegs on each side of my haro and it's really heavy. Thx for tips I'll try that
how long did it take you to build that halfpipe cos im getting one and how much did it cost you?
Great vid, got yourself a subscriber :)
i just started riding and i bought a used bike......my tires ar kinda bald and i was wondering if that would effect my droping in?
the only thing i havent tried dropping into yet is a 10ft deep bowl...scary as hell from the top
Nice tail whip out half-pipe :-D
Can you make a well-explained tutorial of Bunny-Hop please?
I learnt how to drop in by hoping in its hard at first bit when u get it it's so much fun.
We meet again
i want a halfpipe -__- nice video though helped alot getting things down..

I have a dk race bike with a really big sprocket. Will this make it more difficult
This was great!
what about dropping into a vert ramp? say 12 or 14 foot. i can hop into an 8 foot no problem
If you search up how to drop in to a vert ramp on bmx and it should solve your problem. Hopefully I helped you and good luck in dropping into vert :)
