    Looks like they are prepping F1 racing cars, except on bikes. Very cool. Shows how serious these races are.

    High pressure rinse you do force moisture into bearings.

    I found the torque he used
    It's a GEDORE 763-05 Torque Wrench DREMOMETER pre set 5 Nm
    Made in Germany and yours for $ 345,00...
    I would stick to the CDI

    What did they say about not blasting your bearings with water jet?

    • @evinstafford9216
      @evinstafford9216 7 лет назад

      Pro team, almost unlimited resources - they can afford to jet wash bikes. Also, the effects on the bike aren't as bad as you'd think.

      Guoenyi Free wheels, hubs tyres. Plus every new handle bars tape ok every race chain and cogs.

      did you see him lube everything back up after jetting? as long as you keep it lubed jetting your bearings doesn't matter. They tell you not to because they know you lazy ass won't regrease everything after you wash them.

    • @tokke4
      @tokke4 5 лет назад

      He is not going to close to the bearings. Also the power of the jet is not so strong as on a car.

    whats the name of the little tool, replacing the rear wheel, so that the chain is still tight ?

    all well and good if you have a huge bucket, lots of space for rinsing off your bike, a portable air hose, etc, etc. But what if you live in a small apartment with no room for all this stuff? What's wrong with just taking a clean rag, some 409 cleaner (the best and cheapest bike cleaner there is) and cleaning the bike off that way, no fuss and no muss? I've been doing this for years and it keeps the bike cherry merry with no excess to clean up. Try it!

      mikevannike Hard to tell, but I have similar wrenches from CDI and Ritchey. I like the CDI wrenches a lot.

      Yees but headset bolt its not on 5-10 Nm

    • @brucewayne3141
      @brucewayne3141 6 лет назад

      @@joesaric1 bro if you tighten your headset bolt to 5 - 10 nm is too much. like wheel bearings, tighten it until theres no rattle anymore and that's it. anymore than that you will add unnecessary pressure to your headset bearings. not good for the carbon bearing seats either.

    LOL these guys don't give a shit about blasting off the grease inside the hubs, man, they probably have 10 more bikes instore in that truck just waiting to be used after the first one is broken. I guess if I had that kind of money I wouldn't care either.
