When I lived with my auntie, I had asked for an allowance. She told me "your allowance is me allowing you to live in my house"
He said, "Train your kids in the way they should go...Not the way you went".. That's a the truth right there. I wouldn't dare guilt myself into not teaching my children the right way just because I made bad choices. I did but they don't have to.
This is giving me life! “Our kids see struggle” Our kids see it all. My 5 year old told me when she gets her lemonade stand going she will take me on vacation and pay my bills 🤯 because she sees I do everything. Our kids are watching ❤️ I love this
I just wanted to say my kids seeing me value my sessions on Better Help has strengthen our relationship and they ask me things about their wellness.
"Wealth is Freedom" is such a true statement. It was one of the best hours ever spent.
You know you are hitting a soft spot but a good point when you start crying 😢 listening to a podcast. So I thank u. I operated on survival over thriving and living for a longtime because that’s all I knew growing up with my grandparents. So y til the last year or 2 I’ve been trying to educate my boys on financial literacy as I learn. So I will from on out take my boys with me to the bank and all other that have to do with money. And be willing to talk about it open and honestly no matter how much it hurts. But I can say it makes you feel as if you were a bad parent when you were really doing your best with what you had or knew. We live and we grow daily!🙏🏾
Bless you this channel is a God send!
Yes when your mind is good it affects other areas of your life positively.

This is gold for wealth building! Thank you so much, Mr. O'Neal for this amazing show.❤ I wish I had this knowledge growing up, but I am a living example (25 years old) of what/where my parents were and still are at and the knowledge that they carried. Im starting at ground zero to be able to build wealth and also trying to get my younger sisters to understand that we can't keep letting our parents show us the tools they used that got them where they are today. We need to go out and get more knowledge and tools to help us get away from our parents' generation of teachings and do better for our future generations to come. 🙏🏾
This hit home. Message received. Thank you.
You are so right about teaching your kids the right things to do even if you made mistakes. I remember saying that sometimes the fact that we made mistakes in certain areas and are humble enough to admit it, may mean more than the person who hasn't dealt with the consequences of said mistake.
Its great to sow seed in the ground
I see "show notes pdf", but I am not seeing a link to click on. Is it just operator error aka me? 😄 Or is there not a link posted yet? THANKS!

Also, congrats on the new studio🎉 definitely would love to use it if I lived in the DMV area.

What about birthdays and holidays when grand parents and aunts etc give your kid money ? How do the wealth parents handle this ?
What’s the name of the book about Relationship Capital that he mentioned in number five?
Where can I get that hoodie?
Where can I get that hoodie.?
Hey where is the PDF
My school has the guidance secretary listed 1st on the bulletin board... title: Boss
The link k for the pdf is not reflecting
I dont see the pdf
Exactly… I have the funds NOT you.
Wait so what age you teach them commission? My son is 11👀 and dont live in a house.
I almost fell off this treadmill when he mentioned the lady that said “clapping her cheeks” to him 😂😅
Teens should not only be working, a job or business, but they should also be contributing financially to the family. $50 to $100 monthly ‘rent’, ‘room and board’, helps them to feel being a valued, important part of the family. They learn to contribute to the well being of the family.
12:06 my son enjoys visiting the subdivision down the street from our house because the homes are nicer. I feel like I’m on the right track so far.
Ready for this as I have a 6vyr old that we're teaching money principles now through money earned from school test down to tithe and savings. Because this kid can spend $100 week at Target for toys 😂
If we don’t teach them… who will? The only way to set them up for success is to teach them early. We can not expect for generational wealth to go 10 generations IF we don’t teach them how to manage what they EARN now.
Not sure about all that you say wealthy people are doing or even Teaching. Money and wealth come in different forms. What about the wealthy parent, that never makes the soccer game or dance recital. Agreed Wealth is not just money. I believe in most cases, people are a product of their environment. This is why Wealth kids, remain wealthy. They have access to money, education and other resources. The road to wealth for others require many more hurdles. So the first bullet point should start with education, and then goals, and then people you keep, and then networking, and then saving and budgeting, and then investing, and then establishing streams of income, and then financial freedom. Again not so sure it's what wealthy people are teaching vs. the environment and opportunities which provide a significant leg up on Life, especially financially for kids with family that already have wealth. ✌️
What about is the make the honor roll I give 40.00. Is this okay? I don’t give Christmas presents. They’ve to give away for every one toy coming in 7 toys must go
We do grade commissions on the report card - $10 per A, $5 per B and $1 per C. You pay us back $ if you have a D or F.
Pay by skill. Many teachers give As to students who don't have basic skills for the course so they don't have to call you or speak to an administrator.
I see.the allowance ides only hurting the kids now. And robbing them.of. valuable lessons
