Absolutely love this car!!! The owner is awesome!!! Who cares if it’s all original or not! The owner treats this car like he’s supposed to by never trailering it and driving and enjoying it!!! Many kudos to him and thanking him for his service!!!! Without Veterans like him there wouldn’t be Veterans like me (I was Army though) or people currently serving!!! God bless him and you!!!
Similarly I was born in 1971 so a Split Bumper Camaro has always been my dream car. However, the 63 Split Window is certainly a favorite. Gorgeous car.
It was a real pleasure to see this car and to hear Mike histories. It’s cockpit is the most special of those Vette’s. Congratulations to Mike and thanks for this video.
I know his love for his 63 Vette,I fell in love with the AMC AMX while serving my 2nd combat extension in Vietnam from an article with pics in a magazjne, magazine, when I was discharged in 1969 my 1st week home I ordered a brand new American Motors AMX with the " Big Bad Green " paint package and the " Go Package " high performance 390 mid block package, I've been in love with that car for everyday of the 52 yrs I've owned it.

Great looking early Corvette ! I like the way the oversized wheels fill the fenders and the exhaust snap-crackle-and-pop rumble is quite intoxicating. Lovely detailing, even if it's no longer original.
He has a outstanding special car there! Wow I love the red the split window for sure! But I see my love in his driveway your blue Viper! Now that is a car!

Nice to know you drive the car regularly. Thanks for your service, glad you made it back. Hope all your buddies are enjoying vettes as well....
i like the split window first then convertible. thanks for you're service my stepbrother served in usaf. i have cousins went to Vietnam. i would keep the bar in window when people start cutting on cars value drops.

This was a good find. Bloomington gold whatever, I like it just the way it is. One of the best sounding cars on your channel. The almost orange interior is killer!
Thanks so much for this great video, my favorite car of all time is the 1963 split window Corvette in sebring silver with a red interior, maybe one day I can get one, but with prices increasing it's probably just going to remain a fantasy.
Beautifully restored Corvette (1963 easily my favourite) great to hear "its not a hanger queen" LOL. If I had grand children I would take them in this as well. Take care

This is great! I grew up in the '50s and '60s and owned a couple performance cars, first a '65 Goat (back in '69) in which I installed a Crower high lift long duration cam, Edelbrock high rise manifold, Holley 1050 cfm carb, Hurst shifter, Hooker headers, Thrush glass packs and American mags. In impromptu drag races late at night on country roads I'd run dead even with 440 GTXs. But I never owned a Corvette............ This is one of my favorite episode not just because it is a very beautiful car, also the owner with His Car Story. Lou you should do more interview like this one because it totally matched your channel theme.
Hi Cha Cha, Thank you for sharing this is one of your favorites :-) To help you understand when I'm videoing at a car show, "you get what you get" because I'm meeting people for the first time, and the interview is the car and anything they might have with the car right at that moment. In a situation like this, I was able to go to Mike's house and prepare. Sometimes in the moment, and sometimes preparation, I'll keep doing the best I can with what each moment allows me, Lou
Even with the mods that he calls sins that was done on the car, this car is still worth a small fortune because of it being a 1 year only car. Very tastefully done. I'm trying to catch up with all your videos Lou LOL. Great work my man.
Man this car sounds SO nasty........in the right way!!! This is my 2nd favorite color behind Le Mans Blue on these older Vette's. I have no complaints about his mods, and it's always a pleasure to see a man actually using his classic Vette as a daily driver, the way it should be. Great job!!!
Nice car Mike. I'm 64 and have the same un-cureable sickness as you have. I've always wanted a 63-67 Stingray coupe. IMO they are the best looking Vettes of all time. When I was in College in the early 70's I drove a 68 Z/28 302 and a friend of mine owns it today. All my cars have to be stick cars. No auto for me.
