Expiry dates are only used to save the butts of companies if you get ill and to also encourage food waste because that will make you buy more. In my experience it is mostly rubbish so you can go ahead and see/smell for yourself if you should be eating it. ❤

I also thought all tinned goods would last a long time past their date, but canned milk goes off pretty quickly. Oh, and don't cut the mold off your cheese and eat it; it will be throughout the cheese even if you can't see it. (Except cheeses with mold that you can eat, like Brie!)

Grace! I saw on twitter a picture of some teas that Sainbury's brought out a bit ago. It was brussel sprouts, pigs in a blanket and other Christmas flavors just like the chips from last year. Not sure if you've tried them already but if not you def should. I'm in the US so I just wanna know how they are so badly!

I know that the chicken in that wasn't the right kind. Typically southern fried chicken is spicy and marinated in buttermilk (with spices). The flour dredge is seasoned as well. The waffles are normal fluffy waffles. Typically the dish is served with hot sauce (Tabasco style), butter, and maple syrup (I've seen people use honey too).
Grace in American we have something called chicken and waffles it’s waffles and on top is is fried chicken and then you put syrup on it so that’s probably what they were trying to do
