patience, my boy. remember your lessons and do things with a purpose. always be mindful of WHY you have these attacks. to get in, to keep out, to intimidate, etc. progress takes time. that and learning 8,000 other character matchup details.
Same but I still have convident I need to reach blue rank with this character. Im stuck on daminator, but its fine for me rank doesnt matter it depends how you use it. If you have like mistake moves just accept it because your the one controlling it
Not only is this a great down of her pressure... I think it's just a really great explanation of pressure in general. A lot of people have trouble working out general pressure and what makes a good pressure tool and start to fixate on launchers and 'big' plays so this tighter approach really is super helpful.
"transition game" is the real key. you have to be flexible, and you have to know why you chose the moves you chose. deliberate, smart actions are key, and being able to adapt that decision is the door. glad you enjoyed!
You coming in clutch bro not much info out on individual characters yet on RUclips, I’m new to tekken specifically and these videos are helping me understand the game overall more and better Jun herself.
Amazing video! Good content! One suggestion though: You could slide the info bar just a tiiiiny little bit further down so we can see the frame advantage line better ♥Great job regardless!
I swear you have released videos in conjunction with that I’m training and learning lmao. Every time I learn and progress, you give me something new to learn.
so far Ive been having so much fun playing Jun. kinda new to Tekken, havent played Tekken since Tekken 3 and Tekken Tag. and at that time I was a child and was just button smashing lol, but heard so much good reviews on Tekken 8 and seen the redesign to Hwoarang and HAD to come back! but I didnt main him, tbh Idk why lmao but Jun caught my eye, love seeing her In the game and love her style. slowly learning, staying alot of my time In practice and In Arcade. by any chance, Is there a good website to visit for Tekken content? cause I seen a video speaking on learning like a solid 10 frame quick punish, 15 frame launch punish. crouching 11 frame WS quick punish and a crouching 15 frame WS launch punish.
there's wavu.wiki now that's more of a data resource, articles, charts and stuff, but that's about it. find some streams or youtubes that click, i suppose. a player taht has a good approach and listen to them to get started.
Do I look like a bch!? I am here to do damage! I want to end the match with me doing more damage to myself than my opponent. This is the way I live my life
I don't know what you mean. d3 is the generic crouch low and doesn't do anything else. the Izumo Strike is always a high, but this game made it much harder to predict that coming. f+3,2 and f+3,4 keep them from ducking that one, for example. 1,2,2 has 1,2,4 to back it up.
@@yuracakke ok. the f+3,4 is the answer. or f+3 into sidestep. don't give them the high they're looking for. use the mid or anything else, then come back and do u+2 to go into izumo without the lead in. use all the buttons you have!
this is how to beat someone who doesnt understand frame data, right? stuff like "d2 FEELS plus on block" "after this (+2) low, if they decide to challenge me they'll get counterhit (by a i20 move)".... unless they press any button that's 17 frames or faster, aka 70%of their movelist i understand this is targeted to beginners, but its gonna create Tekken 8 players that have no grounded fundamentals, and no understanding of why frame traps work like, the reason why people freeze after plus frames is because you set up the frame trap and interrupted them properly lots of this is "this feels like it works" and "overwhelm them they wont know what to do", and "these things are good just do them they work" until they mash their fastest moves and interupt your +7 into i19 with their i11 ch combo starter
if want to read out of a math book go ahead. just don't counter hit fish with a 19f then. you want airtight frame traps? go lab them. this video is not supposed tot teach you about frame data. there's another video for that. or you could play in the real world, where human brains have to make decisions. and those humans hesitate when d2 forces them to crouch and those humans don't attack after a db+3 hits them.
@@mastermind6000 yeah I was definitely afraid you'd get offended by... *checks notes* ...numbers. "HEY NERD GO READ A MATH BOOK" lmaooo what a terrible attitude bro This version of teaching creates shitty students. And those humans freezing in those scenarios are being knowledge checked. Anyone with who knows how to play Tekken with ANY knowledge on their opponents moves are gonna just challenge you "or you could play in the real world" LMAOOO are you satisfied beating mid-level ranked mode bums?
Down two isn't a good move. lol I thought it was, but they can recover fast enough to hit you back, lol. Only moves that works is pokes and low hits. ... Only if your against really skillful players.
most her attack have high frame time and can be interrupted easily and she has Self-damage her grab range is short and weak her Reversal is trash almost never works her low attack damage is low and slow
I made her main in Tag Team 2 for PS3 and reached TekkenGod at the time, she has a lot of new tricks and since I haven't played tekken for a long time, your video explains everything very well good job bro new follower here. 🫡 Tks for the good content with your help maybe I'll reach TekkenGod again 🤭🤭 I didn't know if you had any information about her parrys, but it's a moment I'd like to see you talk about, I know she got new parrys in HEAT, but I haven't had time to understand how it works yet, if you can make a video to explain it I think it will help a lot of people.
I didn't really mention throws, but I did talk about parry in *evasive tools* section. standard reversal, plus auto low parry in GEN and while in heat mode f+1+2 has parry properties and the same counter hit followup, as far as I know.
Jun is a very hard character and because she is very cool to me i refuse to learn any other character so now I'm stuck in orange rank 😂😂

Df4 after they land on their back you can run up and get a d1+2 but that time window is short to do that

it never ends, does it? enjoy!
These Jun vids are great hope to see you remake your T7 Lili guides for T8
either lili or reina is next!
People are already ducking f3,2 on reaction. u2 though, still works
f+3~f+1+2 already did pretty much the same attack people recognize, so now that's why f+3,4 exists. keep em honest!

Do not do ff3, 3+4. You will get jab floated out of it.
yeah it does seem vulnerable. I put that in the description once it was pretty common. kind of defeats the purpose of it existing. :(
Do I look like a bch!? I am here to do damage! I want to end the match with me doing more damage to myself than my opponent. This is the way I live my life
Really good guide but i wanted to ask what's the best answer for an opponent who ducks before izumo during d3, izumo? Thanks

@@mastermind6000 oh sorry i meant f3* typo usually i struggle with azucenas and their fast crouch launcher when i do the f3 to izu

More Jun!
combos are on the way!
So CH uf+3 guarantees a follow up uf+2?
yup. uf+2 or d+1+2 will both work. so does df+4 I believe.
@@mastermind6000 Got it. Thanks!
What are my options after I make them block sidestep 4? Cuz all they do is block high

yup. Lili is next

they can't punish it, but it will make them hesitate or waste their turn trying to hit you. it's not amazing, but i like it.
@mastermind6000 lol I did it with Lili and she claps my ass fast enough. But not all characters or players can react to it fast enough tho.
