Love miracle day especially this scene gwen is great in situations like this I can so imagine gwen, missy and river teaming up the Charlie's angels of doctor who
OK so Miracle Day wasn't Children Of Earth, but it was still pretty good. Had some nice twisty moments, a plot that developed kinda nicely, and the depiction of governmental descent into fascism from a linchpin moment in humanity was well done (where else are we seeing that same rise of fascism)?
I heavily enjoyed Miracle Day, the plot of people being unable to die was lovely and the fact it was disconnecting from Doctor Who made it feel nice. Sure, Doctor Who is great, but if Torchwood was nothing but the right-side shoulder of Doctor Who, always referencing it and relying on it to build it up then I can't say it'd be as enjoyable. Also, people complain about Jack's blood not being special, and while I may be just an idiot for not critiquing it, I enjoy the difference. Sure, his blood might not be special, though then again where are the critiques about a change fucking crack in the earths crust than magically changes things based on what is given to it. Clearly, when Jack was brought back to life, everything changed about him including his blood, so the crack in the earths crust probably recognized how different he was and reversed things to make humanity better. Though, because Jacks immortality is from the TARDIS, the crack could only do half the job. I went a bit long there, but the series was great.
