The Megumi story is just heartbreaking, I used to go to some of the karaoke bars in Sydney where the students would go on weekends and you won't find a group of people having more wholesome fun than they do when they go out.
Kudos to the brother for speaking out even if you know your brother is bad and a danger it must be hard. I remember this happening and how they were looking for Megumi for weeks and then watching on the news as they were digging in the Wingfield tip thinking how disgusting that she was dumped like rubbish. Glad that he will never get out.

I find it really admirable when people are identifying their own family members as murderers. There's one other case I know of where the police also published the voice of a serial killer and his own mother called to identify him. I don't think I could make that call. I wouldn't have strength, but his brother did the right thing by calling in. This murderer had to be stopped
I do not know that feeling of devastation when a parent loses a child, so pleasing that these Dedicated Police Officers in Australia did a wonderful job persevering to find the bodies of these young women, a Horrible but Worthwhile job. Cudos to the brother who was just as gracious in having to do what a good man did to prevent more young women dying at the hands of his predator brother. Very informative series Thank You.

For everyone calling for reintroduction of Capital Punishment in Australia, I think that growing older in prison is harder. I'm 55 now and though I think that I could have coped with prison in my youth (fortunately, I obey the law, and was never unjustly or justly for that matter, imprisoned ever. As I grow older there's certain physical things that are exacerbated by time and I'd have a hard time in prison 'til death. I'm happy with our legal system in Australia, and while some need to be removed from society forever, killing them in my, and societies name is, in my opinion wrong. Leave them to rot in prison forever and keep your views to the country in which you live. We don't answer to America or Americans on this subject.
