Brambleberry is so underrated.
She’s such a great character. I love everything about her. She was so caring to Crookedkit, and was furious with Rainflower’s treatment of him. She comforted him all the time, and was always concerned for him. She freaked out when he was made deputy because she knew he had been manipulated.
Then there’s Echomist, Hailstar’s mate. Oh boy. She was incredible. When Rainflower had Crookedkit sleep in his own nest, separated from hers and Oakkit’s, Echomist let him sleep with her and her kits so he wouldn’t be lonely. She was such a sweet character that never gets the love she deserves.
Finally, Shellheart. What a great dad. Broke up with Rainflower because of her awful treatment of Crookedkit, always loved him.
While this MAP mostly focuses on Brambleberry, it also focuses on Echomist and Shellheart. Those three are his parental figures. This MAP shows them guiding Crookedkit through life, even with Mapleshade looming over him.

This is proof that giving birth doesn't make you someone's mom. What makes you their mom is loving them and caring for them and being there for them
Giving birth makes you their mother, biologically. But you only stay their true mother if you love and care and be there for them.
It's so sweet how Oakheart, Shellheart, Echomist, Willowbreeze, and many other cats are friendly and caring and always looking out for Crookedpaw(jaw/star), but I think Brambleberry was the most loving, she is like the mother figure that Crookedpaw(jaw/star) never had because Rainflower neglected Crookedpaw(jaw/star). 🥺😭
I’ve just noticed that three leaders’ mothers has the suffix “flower”
Moonflower, Rainflower, and Goldenflower for Bluestar, Crookedstar, and Bramblestar respectfully.
I know she's a med cat, but Yellowfang's mom is Brightflower

It’s really nice to see Brambleberry get some attention. She was definitely one of the sweetest cats of the series and it’s a shame people don’t seem to care or notice her and we didn’t get more of her aside from the one book. Thank you and the other artists for a beautiful MAP about best girl. ❤️

Echomist has a mate though, Hailstar.
It’s likely she’s just sympathizing but knows Brambleberry could care for him instead. As Echomist has her own kits to raise.
Tani It’s possible to be bi or pan. It’s very well possible she could’ve liked Brambleberry.

Given these books, it’s highly unlikely given what Harpercollins allows to slip by.
But that’s besides the point, a nice headcanon but she has Hailstar.
(A leader pairing that we actually see in canon and has very little drama and without a giant age difference to our knowledge.)

The ending made me let out a small "awh" as Crookedstar takes Brambleberry's paw as she welcomes him into starclan.

God I REALLY need to read Crookedstar's promise. Especially after watching this. Such a lovely MAP!!! Oooo I turned put so nice!!
I need to read the book too instead of just watching M.A.P.'s. The problem is my school's Library doesn't have all the Warriors books so I cannot read all of them this year- Maybe the next... Or the next.... *OR THE NEXT* , and so on.

It's great!
CozmicDoodles it’s by far my favorite warriors book and has been since it was released. Reread it multiple times and still get the feels.
Read that, and read Tallstar's Revenge (in French it's "La Vengeance d'Étoile Filante", not sure if it's the right name in english) if you haven't. Both books brought me to tears much easier and were a bit more entertaining to read than the main series. But that's just my opinion.

I somehow forgot how precious Brambleberry was to Crookedstar all his life, thank you so much for reminding me of just about the best medicine cat in all of the books. ;3; I also loved her design in this, you all made her so gorgeous! ;3;
Brambleberry is one of my favorite characters in warriors and I have always been sad that no one really paid any attention to her. I have always tried to find a good MAP that really represents her and this is just *perfect!* It’s definitely one of my favorite MAPS by far! It really shows how important she is in Crookedstars life! (I know this comment is like a year late but I just had to comment on how amazing this MAP was)

I've always loved Brambleberry since I read Crookedstar's Promise a while back and nobody would like mention her very much???? People need to stop fixating on how horrible of a mother Rainflower was and more of how amazing a foster mother Echomist and Brambleberry were to Crooked, and how remarkable of a father Shellheart was too. Thank you for bringing more attention to one of my favorite underrated characters. Everybody did so well too....I love this.
I loved how kind Brambleberry and Ecomist were to Crookedstar . They were more like a mother to him than Rainflower ever was.

I love the blueish tint on this, it matches the soft tones of the song. The harsh red wouldn't have looked as pretty. Honestly this map is so well done. I wish i could've been a part of it

Okay, weirdly specific thing to be fawning over but,, I absolutely LOVE the way echomist's ears are drawn during the 1:57 - 2:04 clip.
Long and thin but not quite rabbity, with a really nice wavy curl to them... its great. Its a really unique look and I totally adore it.
I smell Brambleberry x Echomist in all of these parts~

This whole thing is gorgeous! I seriously need to go back and reread Crookedstars promise because I was so focused on hating rainflower I didn't pay much mind to all the wonderful character in it. I love how this MAP illustrates them. Brambleberry was such an awesome cat. Everyone's parts look fantastic and fit together so well!

This is the most beautiful MAP I've ever seen! The song fits perfectly and the participants turned this into gold. The animators worked so hard and their styles all shine! I haven't seen one of these MAPs with these specific characters before, and it's such a shame; This was beautiful! This MAP shows so much potential to promote animations with amazing underrated characters, and I'm so excited to see what others might create. Also, the palette chosen is so pretty. I love the blues and soft colors. I adore this so much omfg

So glad you made this MAP!! I know other people have mentioned this, but brambleberry is a really important plot character, for she motivated crooked kit when his mother didn't. Plus she kept him going. Yet she's still so underrated. I love her and what she did for the story, and her personality is just so beautiful.
This whole map is amazing and beautiful and perfect and I wanted to cry it was that good ^-^ I love how it doesn't just focus on one cat as well, and the song choice was just on point :) I loved Brambleberry, as well as Crookedstars promise (it's my favorite book!)

This map introduced me to what is now my favorite song, my comfort song. I am so grateful for that, and for this masterpiece of art. It conveys the story so well and I love BrambleBerry with all my heart.

I didn't realize it was Echomist giving that look until you said something, and had to rewatch it 😭 I was like "OOOOOOOOOOH! THAT IS ECHOMIST!" I actually thought this whole time it was Rainflower trying to hide her expression from Brambleberry and the other cats
I loved Brambleberry in Crookedstar's promise so im so happy that you made this, she was so supportive
I haven't read Crookedstar's Promise yet, but I do know his life was far from fair with his injury and Rainflower's BS and I feel like hugging him over and over and over again. This MAP is lovely and I feel the motherly love of Brambleberry everytime I lay my eyes on it.
