Future of Didgeridoo Festivals

- In this video I want to open doors to the topic of how to make didgeridoo world a better place. One way is to bring abundance to the gatherings and festivals where the greatest, most valuable cosmic currency is us - didgeridoo players.
The Eisenbach Wochenende, legendary didgeridoo gathering which had workshop is focus is rooted here:

During covid one fest we lost was Didge days in Coburg. Many thanks to Marco Munsch for organizing that one. Maybe if we drown him in love, he might reconsider doing it again!
The other festival I mention is Elementary Festival, which I had huge pleasure to visit again this year. Hopefully some footage from there is coming. Make sure you treat yourself with this one:

Hey dear brother, Thanks for your inspiring words! I am so happy we share so many Didge events and festivals, and I am happy to be part of organizing Didge events, like Didgeridoo Camp in Czechia and ‘de Betovering’ in the Netherlands! I hope we keep inspiring each other and sharing all these beautiful events. Yes thank you Eddie and Eva for all these wonderful years and happy to see Didgeridoo voices organizing this new festival! ❤🎶☀️
In Austria we are already speaking about a Didgeridoo festival for next year :)
As seen in the photos, you have the right genes to make it incredible! My highest recommendation is to grow gradually, humbly and miraculously.

Very nice video! Eisenbach is indeed a great loss to the community. Just this weekend there is the "successor" of Eisenbach, but I am not sure if it will have the same appeal. I won't be going, I have health issues and other commitments, and the place is not ideal because the food package is really expensive and there is practically no way to stay overnight without driving, except for simple camping, which is not ideal for old people like me. On the other hand, there are a lot of nicer places in the Black Forest than Eisenbach. I always thought it would be really cool to have the Eisenbach thing in a more cultivated location.
Also, I am relatively close to Eddy (who gives workshops there) and it makes more sense to visit one of his own workshops directly. I might talk to our local hero, Bernhard Keller, if we could start something small on a regular basis to have some kind of community meeting.
In the meantime you can be proud of what you are building in Croatia, maybe it would be an idea to expand this event to a bigger setup as well (the location is very nice). Stay tuned until we might meet again in this universe!
Hey Lars! So nice to hear from you!!! I thoroughly enjoyed reading your insight! You've got really good points there. Wrt masterclass in Croatia, unless we find a solution to hosting more people, it is at its MAX right now already. To turn it into festival is also possible, but beyond my abilities as I still have to kick my own butt all the time to become a better player. And maker. Wrt German scene, I think it is important to stay positive, talk and look for solutions open minded and open hearted. I hope you gave your insights in a constructive way to the organizers, as someone who is an experienced attendant at Eisenbach WE. I know Bernhard, maybe he even knows me, and I do hope you could doo exactly what you say, starting something small on a regular basis. Eddy giving workshops is already contributing to the scene and I really hope he keeps doing that for a long time. At the same time, times are changing and we need to adapt. But it is one of the main qualities of humans, and this is what we are, aren't we? ;-)

Yes, well spoken words and a brilliant summary of todays Didj-Scene. There is a great change happening in so many aspects and naturally, it also effects "our" scene. Something new wants to show up, this is for sure. I'm curious what it will be and most of all, I hope to experience that again. I turned 77 a month ago and you never no? Meanwhile, even I cannot engage myself anymore for festivals like Swizzeridoo, the Klangkeller in Bern welcomes didjeridu performers. Thus, whenever you are close to Bern let me know and I will do my best. Don't you think so Du???? All my best to you and the changing world and Didj-Scene!
Dearest Gradddad of modern didge scene... it is always so nice to meet you, even in cyberspace, your voice is read in my mind as it is spoken IRL... Indeed, times reflect on the didge world as well, as well as the fact that we are tailoring it right now, navigating through the given circumstances and hopefully going to an interesting space. While I see it now as an advantage that didge hasn't gotten to the mainstream, I also see that is it really good time to give it some love and attention and some action. So I have given my voice to that. We shall see what will be... I am fantasizing of that beautiful Klangkeller and time will come when we will meet us there again!

I was just scrolling through gallery of thumbnails of latest videos from my subscriptions searching for something and I was like - wait a minute - what the hell is this cowboy/gardener or whoever 😁 (in this, kind of, romantic, almost dreamy setting) doing in my feed!??
For an honest moment I was like, what did I subscribe to and when??? 🧐🤔❓
And then I had to go back and click on it to see what that the hell this was! (And also because at the same time my peripheral receptors for visual aesthetics got tickled/alarmed 😁😁😁 I guess I can spot handsome even when not looking 😂😂😂).
And even then the 1st few seconds of the video I was like who is this??? And then it hit me - OMFG it's Dubravko!!!! 🤯🤯🤯 It was so unexpected!!!
I had to have a good laugh at myself! 😂🤣😂😁😂🤣
The setting and the vibe was so different (!!!) not even me realized immediately who and what was I watching!!!! Bloody hell!!! 🤯🤯🤯 That is an absolute achievement in itself!!! 😁 I still can't believe it just happened! 😂😂😂

Thanks, for bringing your message to the world! I proudly can say that I started months ago to órganize Gatherings and Jamsessions for Didgeridoo and other unique Instruments.. and theres more in my mind for the future 🙃

I am not sure what you are asking. Didgeridoo concerts are usually listed in the events of a particular artist. Festivals are listed in the description of the video, and you can see in the pinned comment by DidgeMama that there is a gathering "de Betovering" in the Netherlands. And it will be soon, so get in touch ASAP if you are interested to come!
