How To add a signature in Gmail, you can follow these steps:
1. Open your Gmail account in a web browser and sign in with your credentials.
2. Click on the gear icon located in the upper right corner of the Gmail interface. This opens the "Settings" menu.
3. In the drop-down menu, select "See all settings" to access the full settings page.
4. Scroll down to the "Signature" section, which is located in the middle of the page.
5. You have two options:
a. If you want to use a plain text signature, simply enter your desired text in the text box. You can format the text using the formatting options above the text box, such as font style, size, and color.
b. If you want to use a rich text signature with images, links, or custom formatting, click on the "Create new" button. This opens the signature editor.
6. In the signature editor, you can enter your desired signature text and format it as needed using the available tools, similar to a basic word processor. You can add images, change fonts, insert links, and customize the formatting according to your preference.
7. If you want to add an image to your signature, click on the "Insert image" button in the toolbar. You can upload an image from your computer or provide the URL of an image hosted online.
8. Once you have created your signature, scroll down to the bottom of the settings page and click on the "Save Changes" button.
9. Your signature is now set up. From this point forward, every email you compose in Gmail will include your signature at the bottom.
Remember that Gmail allows you to have different signatures for different email accounts or switch between them if you have multiple accounts linked to your Gmail. You can manage these settings under the "Signature" section in the Gmail settings.
