When your Karma video dropped In Nov 2020 I commented that your the reason I stayed sober, this was still earlier in my sobriety. You responded “so proud of u!”. What might have seemed like a small gesture really meant a lot to me. I thought about it a few dark times, Little over 2 years sober now. Thank you again

This gave me a whole different perspective of Mod. I am truly inspired by him and Avril, as well as MGK. They are super talented. Mod in general is one of the most creative/talented individuals in the pop-punk industry.

Mod Sun’s father was one in a million. We loved hanging out with him and his Parrot Ruby. He once obtained a massive ten foot Tyrannosaurus Rex prop from a job he was working. Talked my sister into displaying it in her home. It took up the entire living room. Thank you for sharing a little about him. RIP Dennis.

I've been following Mod Sun/been a fan since almost the beginning. I first saw him at a punk rock concert in Milwaukee as a hippy hop rap artist, and I fell In LOVE with this guy. I am so happy and proud to see this journey he's been on and where he has gotten in his career. I knew he was great from that first concert I met him at. I love you MOD SUN. ❤🌞🤗

I told everyone I knew I was gonna manifest my way into your documentary and in the last 30 seconds you show a clip of you in Tempe az and I can pick myself out from the front, I am so fucking stoked. This was the best documentary I’ve ever watched 💚💚 you deserve it all
I'm used to being a behind of the scenes kind of fan. I go to shows and support online here and there, but I'm not an "in the comments" kind of fan. But when I saw this on my timeline I had to watch till the end and after finishing it I had to leave a comment just to express my support for this guy. I went to the show in Atlanta and I loved his energy just as much as I do with his music. Seeing more of his life story and truly how much he's overcome is such a surreal, joyful moment to witness. You rock man. Keep being you.

As a fellow mod sun fan since 2012 this is so inspiring. Such a proud moment, and so humbling. Seeing him live his life and passing him at the MOA near Zumiez in awe… this is a love story full of life chasing a dream. From hearing his song in the radio on 96.3 in his hometown to downloading flames on Spotify. So grateful for this human.

I worked your stage 2016 warped tour. Whe ended up getting delayed by lightning and smoked a bit And talked as a group and at one point A bit man to man you dug deep on me. You and Gordy definitely earned quite a bit of respect for me that day if only from conversation. you kickflipped into your set on my deck And climbed a tree at the end of it just to be near your people. I remember being in awe of the energy and give-0-fucks spirit I wished I had about me. You guys started inspiring me from that moment. Not much of a singer or instrumentalist, but I've always been able to build some thing. I took my niche like you did and ran with it straight home, which became the stage. I hope you get to see this and that in some weight my words can fuel you as your spirit has me over the years. In the long range, I hope I end up in some corner of a timeline where I get to work with you guys on something beautiful. Much respect and much love. Never stop believing in the plights of Rebels and fools. We all end up pirates in the end.

I've been wanting to watch this since it came out but I've been moving and painting and putting in floors and I just found myself with a couple of hours and finally got to watch. Wow. There aren't good words to describe the emotions I felt watching this. I'll throw out a few insufficient words: chills, goosebumps, tears, sorrow, elation, pride, and most of all, inspiration. You are such an inspiration to so many people including myself. Growing up I always felt like an outcast and I ended up gravitating towards drugs, alcohol and sex simply to escape the pain but just like you it came to a point where I couldn't escape it any longer. So I started writing songs, I listened to artists like yourself on repeat and then I realised that being myself was enough no matter the mistakes I'd made.
As a fellow MN kid, congrats. This is surely the start of well-deserved recognition of your passion for music. Keep it up!
