It is a new year, and the first “A Week in My Life” video in 2024! I always have so many mixed feelings about entering a new year. It can be so exciting, emotional, and maybe a little intimidating all at the same time. I just came back from a long holiday season traveling to both New York and Amsterdam to see mine and Max’s family. Though it’s so nice to visit family, I cannot wait to be back home from traveling and back to my own routine in LA. This week was such a crazy week of work, events, and just catching up on all appointments I’ve been putting off for so long. Something I want to work on this year is not putting all of my appointments off until last minute (we will see how this goes lol).
Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed this week in my life vlog and sending so much positive energy to everyone for the the start to this new year. I am trusting that everything this year is meant for me and am ready to take on what is all to come. See you next week!!

I am in the lowest point of my life and I almost got into tears when I watched your vlog starting with a line, "our lives have seasons". I was able to keep myself on track for healthy lifestyles no matter where I am with my life now thanks to your footages since 2018 but I wanna thank you more when you give courage to those who are struggling with other aspects of lives. Happy new year to you and myself!
Thankyou for sharing ❤ that means a lot, by accepting seasons of life it makes it easier to navigate. After winter ( hard and difficult times) there will always be spring coming even if you don’t think so. Sending you so much love 🫶🏻

that breaks my heart Dear One to know you are in a Winter season. There are times when things are in a bleak state. But just know it wont last forever. I have had a very LONG season with days i thought i cudnt go on. Left behind, and discarded, like a piece of old old clothing, there were very dark days. Each day the sun still arose in the East, I forced myself to 'choose' health (not happiness, at least not yet anyway) but i chose to see and feel the warmth of the sun. Sure everyone tell you this, tells you that, all kinds of remedies and many times they dont matter bc the pain is so great. Just know that one day with the rising of the sun, so shall it be with your heart. Much love Dearest One. ❤❤❤

Take it a day at a time. There is always a greater purpose to our hard times. It’s hard to see it when you’re going through it, but just keep going. Sending you lots of love, positivity and strength. There are better days ahead, I promise you. Trust that God will come through for you🩷🧡🌻
I agree, kudos on the transparency re: botox! I'm on the other end, I've stopped doing botox (nothing bad happened) but I started reading Audrey Hepburn's biography and and was smitten with aging gracefully...there's a whole other movement dedicated to this (still learning to embrace the emergence of grays at 37😅😅). But there's something about not interfering with nature's process that got me. To each their own though!! Sanne, I appreciate your candidness and openness with your community. I had a mental breakdown just last week after realising that I made a mistake of choosing to stay in a workplace that I feel miserable in. I feel instant relief after deciding I’m leaving. I don’t see any goals there. I’m choosing my mental health over everything else.

Hydra facials are wonderful. Next time try an oxygen facial. Having worked as a nurse at a dermatology practice, I have to say that you're too young for Botox. Don't compare yourself to others. You can use sunscreen with an SPF of at least 50 that has zinc oxide or titanium dioxide. Wear a hat to protect your forehead. Wear sunglasses that have UVA/UVB protection and wrap around both eyes.
If you decide to continue with the Botox, ask them for numbing cream. My aesthetician gives me a mini canister and I apply the product 45 minutes before my visit. They can show you where to apply it. The main thing is that you still want to look like Sanne, natural and not artificial.

I watched this video while working remotely at home. It made me feel like I had a working buddy next to me. 😀The video was chill, genuine, and sweet, Sanne; I loved it. When you were choosing which clothes to wear to the event while feeling tired, I could relate to that. Suddenly, I feel like I have nothing to wear and feel rushed. I loved the top you wore, and your slick hair always looks on point!! I like your advice on encouraging yourself. I do similar things when I feel less than 100% going to social events or have to for work events. I also look in the mirror and do super poses like putting my arms up in the air like Superman or on my waist and tell myself - I am a superhero in the movie, and I have the power. It lifts me because it's silly and connects with my "self". Sometimes, in addition to this, I think of myself as a movie character in my film, haha. Lastly, for Botox! I also started Botox last year (I just turned 35 years old), and I love it. It's not too invasive and gives my face more lift and openness. I feel more confident, and weirdly, I began to like that weird feeling of injections going into my skin. LOL. Dear Sanne, I totally agree with definition, that our lives have seasons. We all just expect and want to feel great all the time, but it never happens to anyone, and that's normal, we just have to be ok with it, life is lify you know and its' pretty normal :) I'm 43 and started doing Botox 2 years ago, not much, just a little bit, and twice a year and I'm really happy with it. I'm still me but kind of better version physically :)))
Thanks for sharing about the botox, also just turned 30 and a bit scared to do it but would love to try and "feel more confident" about the small lines. Love your vlogs since many years, the week in my life are the best, love seeing you doing random things as you say haha!

Botox in some cases can be very helpful for migraines, chronic facial pain, muscles tense up with pain and by numbing muscle activity with Botox, it really helped me to have less acute facial pain which I get from surgery for a bone tumour … I was very pleasantly surprised ….

Maybe in the future try micro needling/facial acupuncture. It actually helps the skin retain more collagen and will last. And it's more healthy.

Girl, my brother has had several of those lumps in his scalp and I unfortunately watched when they removed some. I am forever traumatized 😂😂😂. I hope you’re feeling better and enjoying your travels!

I’m turning 30 this year . And last year I got botox done on my forehead too! lol suddenly these lines just came OUT OF NOWHERE . Nothing too crazy just micro doses .

Just trying to be honest and open about it! I was really nervous to be honest but I think it went well, I can see maybe some result in a few days. Always make sure to do your research well, good recommendations etc and don’t over do!!

Im almost 40 and ive been contemplating botox on my forehead for years. I may give it a try one day, my friend has it done and she looks great.. can always give it a try and if you dont like it then no need to go again.. love the video by the way, walks on the beach are my favourite
