@@TheRadScientist_ As a person who heavily supported SXL during early access and upon release, I just cannot emphasize how much better the devs of Session are compared to SXL devs. Once I picked up session I never looked back.. Maybe I will give it another chance once the "devs" start putting in some effort again, instead of them relying on the modding community to finish their sub par game. If this was the approach they planned on taking then this game should of never seen consoles, I really feel bad that console players really got scammed out of $45 just to see Tampa Pro get released three years in a row, but at the same time the modding community enables all of this lmao

Nah Skater XL lost me as a consumer, they take too long and not for good reason, game could’ve been so good, even session one upped it which I did not see coming

I’m wondering if some other things under the hood have been updated to allow things to flow better. I know I’m just another console player complaining but I’m genuinely wondering
@@justinmccormick2578 yeah this is on the PC beta, I was using the XL Graphics 'follow camera' but that's about it in terms of mods, it just looks way better I can't believe it isn't the default camera lol.
And yeah there are some of those new 'baby pops' near the end of the second line over the two humps. I'm about to upload every single trick recreated without mods it was pretty fun to make.

I live in the dfw area and skating this skate park irl is very disappointing the only redeeming property are the 1:the pump track 2:the pump track 3: the ledges

The park needs more work and customizing something different to skating on every objects and rails.
I skated this place this morning. Very cool and different experience. This place makes you think outside of the box.
Is there a way to scale the player instead of the map? That might solve some bugs that happen when changing the map size

Hey Milky. I just got myself a good gaming PC and I do have Skater XL and Session and since I am new to PC world, I have absolutely no idea how to mod anything at all. I need help.

I dont remember when they did something on consoles last time, its rip off (practically pre beta game) with no updates that is charged 35€...real worthy of full game is 6 € at best empty game without anything to do

Milky couldn’t you (in theory) scale the skater up? Instead of scaling the entire map down?
We can scale the skater with fro’s mod but it doesn’t work quite like you’d expect it to, the height and position of the skater is still constrained so it messes all the colliders up and you end up clipping through the ground and unable to do tricks. We’d need a whole new mod to make it work properly but in theory it would work yeah.

I've been watching SKATER XL progress from day one and i cant believe why the animations still look like sh*t, in 5:10 he literally brakes his ankle just by stopping the borad, arm movement looks weard, body posture looks way to stiff, and the new map looks ike someone just made it in one day. In the last years this game came not even close to SKATE, this game is worse then a 11 year old game in any aspect. I really had big hope for this game but seeing the game in this unffinished stage, while its already released on consoles etc... very very dissapointing.
some mods break stuff. after playing session for 2 years I literally cant play XL anymore, even with mods its still janky af

Without a doubt EAs only reviving skate because skate games are trending. Sadly It’s just going to be classic skate with parkour more so than realism, which is is what ppl want. Kids with moms credit card is the target audience

Alright Milky I GOTTA KNOW DUDE! So which game is easier to learn how to play. I have both games on PS5 and they are both hard as hell. I found it 10%, maybe, easier to learn Session. Which game, do you feel, you need to spend less time in trying to learn how to skate. Your style is so buttery and I feel like it wont take 10,000 hours to get to lol😂. ❤nothing but love dude, I love your channel and keep up the awesome work. You and Nightspeeds are the dudes to watch. Can you smell that? Its cause you're the shit hahahahaha
i first bought session years ago and struggled really hard. then i bought skater xl after not playing session much. i found skater xl to be way, way, waaaay easier to learn. this was back when session was a lot jankier though (it still is with the default settings to me). if you haven't messed around with the settings for session, i'd say that is the best place to start learning the game. get settings you're comfortable with - like i said, the default settings are awful for session.
but yeah, for me, skater xl was a lot easier to learn how to play, mostly because it plays a lot smoother - probably because the physics are better. session can get quite smooth too, with the right settings.
If you’re on console, play session, I mainly play skater xl on pc with mods, but honestly where session is at right now, go for session. It feels really good to play when you mess around with their stats menu.

@@swedies. So the only problem is is I am having issues getting through the tutorial. Once you complete that it seems like you get the mod menu. I was hoping that was from the beginning.

Skater XL on console is so disgusting I tried playing again after being on session for a while and it’s just awful looking, feeling and there’s barely any street skating
Youre really good at this game. My game just doesnt do what I want it to most the time. Its still a glitchy piece of s*** game that requires 50 mods and perfectly tuned stat menus just to play it how it should work normally.
So clean with mods and a smaller park Sheeesh hurricane to switch flip front blunt was crazy
