Nice Buddy, I highly recommend Metric AB from Plugin Alliance for placing your guide mix or reference tracks etc plus u can automatically gain match, and select filtered frequency bands to compare the draft mix or even mastered reference tracks. Also Standard Clip is great before your main limiter to just control the peaks 0.5-1dB clipping, helps the limiter to be more transparent and even gain louder master if needs be as the limiter won't be freaking out from the peaks.
Hey! So I feel like Neve gear and emulations do something really cool in the low end that I like and I use Neve-like gear or plugins for certain elements like drum bus and bass. But SSL is my mixing workflow and the tool for general mixing tasks. It’s the sound that I’ve come to love over the years.
This is an awesome video. I have a much better understanding of the mastering process now. 👏🏻
Can you post more? I liked watching all of this it’s helping.

Hi George, what would be your approach between Neve and SSL console, in terms of sound/color?
