not even a single animal is scarified for the food in krishna consciousness. This is really attracting me. I am pretty much sure that this movement will bring world peace and stop terrorism in this world. The main cause for the terrorism is being ignored of Love. but in krishna consciousness, it teaches us to love every living things. This could surely bring peace and eradicate terrorism.

It was just the best, but now all I see is something with the name and some of the iconography, but made in New Zealand and no longer having any reference on its website to the Hare Krishnas or any kind of spirituality. Did they buy the name? Is it still the same incense, but without those very cool spiritual vibrations the old stuff had? I miss the Lotus !
So you yourself will not favor your religion? You will after realizing your truth in life, hope your child finds it else where? Why not expose them to your truth, as well as the other religons? That is true choice or where else will our children get wisdom if not from their own parents? Religion can be complex, even dangerous when misunderstood. So why not be a spiritual guide for our children? If we don't, someone else will.

The problem when men are put on pedestals ego takes over they become intoxicated or addicted to power and power corrupts. As in the case of Mr Ham and much more besides. Giving your independence to self appointed Gurus is a big mistake. You don't need them they are just men and know no more than you. They might be eloquent and quote from books very well, they are just repeaters. Question everything, doubt everything and anyone who wants you to worship them as god is exposing themselves as a liar and a cheat.
I spent 12 years with the Hari Krishnas. .....as an uninitiated, I was accepted wholly; even lead some kirtans. No one suggested we worship any of the sannyasi or brahmins as god. They were treated well, and the lessons were given in the spirit of keeping Prabupad's word(s) alive. I understand that there was some upheaval and Sannyasi controversy when Prabupad left his body, but I think that has mellowed with time. I know all the controversial problems, but it is the bad apples that get all the press, and the good apples keep spreading nectar quietly. The only God I worship is Krishna, and I appreciate all the association connected to ISKON.
There is no single description that fits the lifestyle of being in a destructive group such as Iskcon. But there are some common themes. Most ex-Iskcon devotees depict a type of insulated, moment-to-moment existence in which repressing fear and anxiety is job one. Chanting and meditation become prime coping mechanisms in this regard. Cut off from family, old friends and the outside world, their old life becomes like a dream. In their new life, psychological growth just stops - Iskcon members are caught in a static life that depends on not thinking, not questioning, not wondering, not remembering. Above all else, life in a totalistic group like Iskcon is typically characterized by tight control. There is very little freedom in daily life. The leader prescribes what a member can and cannot do for every minute of the day. This includes what food he can eat, what books he can read, whom he can talk to, what he can wear, where he can go and how long he can sleep. The leader makes decisions, and the followers do as they're told. This type of lifestyle causes intense psychological distress. Many people experience a persistent fear of angering the leader or losing group approval. They must constantly avoid the tension between their group world and their former life and stifle any doubts or longings that arise. This level of stress can lead to chronic anxiety, physical illness or even a complete mental breakdown in which an Iskcon member may become unable to function in daily life.
I love Krishna and Iskcon gave me Him. Becoming educated in real Dharma is not destructive at all. You have a very wrong and biased idea about what the real purpose of iskcon is and that is destructive to yourself and others. Very narrow and low thinking cannot bring real knowledge and understanding. Besides just see so many comments here that are very positive and thankful for Iskcon. With a name like Hare Krishna you really should have a much better understanding of the essence of this world spanning movement but I guess your focus is not on the benefit to so many people even though there have been mistakes the plus side is much more significant and as time goes on things will improve by the will of Krishna.
I have no probems with people adopting the life of a Hare Krishna devotee but I don't think kids should be indoctrinated in it. Let them make the choice for themselves when they get older.This applies, of course, to any religion.

Most are tricked or forced into being meatheads. Humility, caring and innovation are frowned upon. If they cannot sit & keep their thoughts quietly to themselves then often they are drugged. Role playing & sucking up pain are part of their conditioning. So much illusion is presented as knowledge. A pity that sweet babies are brainwashed to accept the norms of a society not just crazy but cruel. I've seen this too often to remain quiet. As adults, most cannot think an original thought or even know who it is they are as free spirit souls w/natural loving nature, Nor, is even known the difference between matter & spirit. Krishna is extremely kind giving us as long as it takes to re-awaken our eternal, knowledge based blissful true ID, of Radha Krishna centered consciousness in loving. harmony w/all. Similar to planets moving perfectly w the Sun as the center. Tossing out the tel-lie-vision is a great step toward liberation.
Doctrine means teaching; children have to be taught something, and it should be up to the parents to decide what. Not you, and not the government. Freedom means freedom to choose religion if we wish.
I myself am a muslim and i disagree with most of ideology of krishnaits. For example why not to eat meat? Pork - yes - thats dirty animal, but the rest are good and provided by Allah for us to eat. Also why krishnas are so forgiving to infidels? Every infidel deserves highest punishment for not believing in true God and his prophets.

Yes, Spiritual Sky was sold, ISKCON no longer run it formally.
If you want 1st class incense try Srinivasa or Gangotri exports.
