Hey TDA! Great episode! I wanted to point out that it is possible to set your fleet "idle position" to a point ahead of your mech, and by doing that you can aproach the Hives from an even safer distance while your ships engage in combat in the horizon :D
If you turn your mech then the idle position will shift way away from where you want them. Perhaps put the idle position to one side and do a drive-by?
12:07 Just an FYI, you can click on the top pane that has the text ”All Fleets" to deploy all of your fleets at once. That way you don't have to click on each fleet one at a time. You can also deploy your space fleets while orbiting the planet in case you can't find a safe place to land.
Hey TDA! If you’re still taking requests for your next video, what I would love to see is how to scale massively. How to set up forge planets and science and hundreds of solar sail launchers with millions of sales being launched so we can have Dyson spheres around many many stars, hundreds of frame rockets, huge space combat fleets, etc. I think it would be great to get a lesson from you on how to scale at this level. Oh, and BTW, YOU are awesome!
Yup, this is also why keeping your old blueprints is very useful. I've kept every single blueprint from all my runs, and I still find myself going back to certain builds ' hey, I need something that does X... oh wait, I have that! '
15:35 I think to set the Dark Fog level is only possible when you are done with the Main Quest (Mission Complete). Destroying the hive in space is so cool but I did not find a way yet what to do so the seeds do not come back later
I'll have to check my old save, but I'm pretty sure you can only set the difficulty down at the df communicator, not up. Kinda sucks you have to do a whole new game to get a harder game but oh well. Maybe I didn't see the option to use meta data tho, so I'll double check. Edit: Turns out I was wrong, guess I didn't have any metadata when I first got to the communicator. Never mind!

Like above, yes. You could also try sniping the core first from a far away distance using your space fleet.

Good point!

Good points! And yes I don't know why I clicked them one by one.... talking and playing is hard sometimes :P
Good to know
Awesome episode, keep it up 😊
Good to know about the sliders for fps/realtime. Between that and hiding the spheres when building, our games will be playable a lot longer.

admit it, you died at 4:50 right? 😂 or did you managed to warp out fast enough?
Nice Video, keep going
I warped out in time (but I would have been toast otherwise :P)
