About the marriage question. Brandon is right haha, but he's also right about it not being a big deal. They both are young and free spirited, and clearly enjoy drinking and having fun lol. Once they settle down and start putting emphasis on career goals, family, etc... Easing up on the YOLO way of life, then marriage is something you can lay on the table. There's nothing wrong with that, it's just a mature way of thinking. It's not like he doesn't want to see something like that happen, he just isn't going to do it in this state of both of their lives. Ain't nothing wrong with that!
Although his answer makes sense, I think when this question is asked, it is also asking whether or not you think the other person is worthy of being your spouse. I think that is where Devorah's mind/heart was at...she loves him and trusts him. So when he gave his answer, I think she (momentarily) felt as if he was saying that he didn't think she was worthy of becoming his spouse.
