    Brian man, thanks for all the hacks and DIY adjustment videos. I did the speed hack, adjusted my brakes, and now when my 36V 20ah battery arrives from Amazon ima do the dual battery hack ... and be all in these Brooklyn streets.
    You sir deserve every subscriber to your channel and more.
    Freddy, my Super73, says thanks too.😏
    Brakes never felt better...

    Thanks for this information. I lost control of my ZG a few weeks back. Now that my wounds have repairs, I am checking all the 'unwanted modifications' to the bike - and your video has helped me realise what the rubbing sound is when I ride. It's great to see I can fix it easily. Cheers!

    Thank you so much.
    My last ride with a bike was a bmx and that was 20yrs ago.
    And was struggeling to adjust the brakes. Tonight i heard a squeezin at the brakes. I use your method and i was done in 5mins.

    For the back wheel using an allen wrench at that angle didn't work for me. Using a flat head that fits in the corner that locks it in works better for me.

    Hey man great video. Having and issue getting the 5mm alan wrench in the screw over the rear hub motor. Worried I might strip it. Any suggestions?

    • @briandhoward6137
      @briandhoward6137  3 года назад

      try a 5.5 allen or tip the current one with a hammer to get it to set in a bit deeper, also make sure it is clean so the allen can go in all the way

    Love your videos. Can you make a video of just routine maintenance for the Z one? Also, have you had any issues with cutting that white wire to get extra speed out of your Z one?

    • @briandhoward6137
      @briandhoward6137  4 года назад

      I could possibly make that, it's a short list. We have not experience any issues so far

    Great video, thanks for the info! I’m having some intermittent power loss issues, and now total loss of power. Battery indicator light shows charged but no juice. Replaced the throttle button still no luck. Any experience with that? I’m so bummed that I can’t ride! Would love to get your advice. Thanks in advance!

    We're in a community with big gnarly hills that we love and they're crushing our brakes when the kids ride. This was very helpful. *What's the make/model of that blue bike in the background of your vid? It looks awesome!

    Thank you for the video. I was able to adjust the front in 30 seconds. But I cannot get anything to fit in the back wheel. Even when I line up the cutouts from the hub motor I have no room to lineup my Allen key. Is there anything I can do ? Thanks for the help

    • @briandhoward6137
      @briandhoward6137  2 года назад

      Yes remove the brake caliper, and adjust it while off the bike. I believe the Allen bolt size is 4mm

    It’s impossible to get the tool into the back wheel one without stripping it. Is there any other way

    • @briandhoward6137
      @briandhoward6137  2 года назад

      Take the back brake off the bike to get it loose, place it back on bike and make adjustments.

      I am having the same problem. And I don’t know if I’m confident enough to take off the brake 😂. This is still a very helpful video.

    Is there a better tool you can recommend for adjusting the rear break? I cannot for the life of me get this dang allen wrench that came with the bike into place enough to turn. Seems like the metal receiving slot is super easy to destroy as well.

    • @briandhoward6137
      @briandhoward6137  Год назад

      Not really, I'd remove the rear wheel and trun the screw 180

    Sup man is there a brake sensor on the z1? If so how can I disconnect it?

    • @briandhoward6137
      @briandhoward6137  2 года назад +1

      Yes there is, one on each brake lever. To disconnect them, just fallow the smaller wires off the brake lever to the plug and unplug them. It's easy, takes about 1 min

  • @MrTurkeybags
    @MrTurkeybags 3 года назад

    Hmm i didnt know you could do that. I would just loosen the 1 allen that hold the brake cable to the brake and pull cable a lil the tighten. Is this way not right? Seems to work fine

    • @briandhoward6137
      @briandhoward6137  3 года назад +1

      That way works also, but it only mover the out side brake pad, so doing both is best. Thanks for watching.

    I could not get the Allen key in the back wheel and I don’t understand how to do it with the calliper off

    • @briandhoward6137
      @briandhoward6137  Год назад

      It's the same thing, take caliper off, turn allen bolt a half of a turn, reinstall and test to see if it helped, if not repeat the steps. Or remove the rear wheel and do the steps with caliper in place .
