Aww thank you so much! I love how you phrased it!!
We should all be proud of ourselves for how far we've come (whether as artists or human beings), I'm sure our younger selves would be :)

Great video sweetie (although I am biased as your mum!) You're so natural and you should be proud of your work. Maybe I should post something you drew when you were 3 to show everyone how far you've come?! Only kidding!

I loved this so much. Do you redraw each drawing digitally to overlay it in the video or is it a scan and you edit the scan? But then how do you remove the lines on lined paper? Lol so many questions. It looks awesome, every time you show the real life drawing and digital overlay. ❤

🙌😀I just love how you show us the photos of the shadow that inspired your sketch, which then becomes a digital artwork, and then becomes content for this awesome video! Can’t wait to see more of your work, and also, I find you very entertaining. Funny and authentic,👌👏👏👏🙌🙌🙌 please take a peek at my channel, I feel like we have a similar vibe 🤓🙃😁

Thank you so much! I'm really glad to hear you enjoyed the video 🥰 For the digital overlays, I basically redrew each drawing digitally!! While editing, I took screenshots of the clips I wanted to add an overlay to, screenshots that I sent to my phone to create each overlay! To do that, I simply traced the original image on a separate layer, so I could download that layer as a transparent PNG (I use ibisPaint X)
      I hope this helps! ❤️

Would you also like them as much if you saw someone else post them? Be honest!😂

That's actually a really good question! On one hand I feel like I'd like them more because I am a little harder on myself than I am on others (I'm more prone to criticising my own work than other people's) but on the other, since I AM harder on myself, maybe I am amazed at these artworks BECAUSE, after many occasions where I'm not happy with what I draw and where I'm at with my art skills, they stand out from all of the others by being "adequate". They surprise me with how decent they are, and this "surprise" element wouldn't happen had someone else drawn them (I don't think), because I don't doubt other people's skills. All it comes down to with this second hypothesis is the fact that the bar of expectations is much lower with myself than it is with others. Does that make sense??
Plus the fact that I had fun drawing these does play a part in how I feel about them, so, if you take out the fun and the act of doing them, then maybe I WOULD oh so slightly like them a tiny teenie bit less if they had been drawn by someone else??
But again, I do find it easier to admire other people's work than I do my own, sooooo... yes and no?? 😂
Did I read way too much into it? Maybe haha
(though you are allowed to like your work simply because you think it turned out great. Just like you are allowed to find your own drawings inspiring, it doesn't make you vain if you do!)
