U should only consider pvt colleges for cse it etc branches.... mechanical civil mei Jana hai to govt dhundo easily mil jayega and placements....u will obviously get better opportunity in cse and it in any college than core branches.... people from mechanical branches are suggesting to take cse or it related branches....u should only go for core branches if ur really interested in.....I have seen many worthless cse students getting placed and top civil mechanical students that too from govt colleges are unemployed...take decision wisely

see the main fact ...is ..that if u are studying in east india ...most of the student will get job in east side and here 4.5 lack is more than enough as a starting package ... caz east india is very cheap...here 4.5 lakh is equivalent to 8 lakh in bangalore.... and those who get job in bangalore from kiit they are offered 10 lakh....

Bro please read this comment. I am about to raise a serious concern about this college, but before that let me tell you, I am a student at kiit university. And whatever you said is absolutely true. Please guys do not believe whatever websites like nirf or kiit official site tells you. Trust me, just listen to what Yash said. I repeat, do not believe what's on the internet. The worst thing of all is Kiit's IT cell is way too strong, they somehow manage to suppress all the outbursts of frustrated students like us. KIIT does have very shitty placements for an inexplicably high fees ranging from 19 lakhs to 20 lakhs, which brings me to the worst incident we faced. It's been over 5 months since lockdown started, and all of us students were immediately sent home. Since we weren't using any of the college facilities, we demanded for a fee reduction, our concerns were getting completely ignored by the authorities. So one day, the college held some online meeting, I don't exactly remember regarding what, but many higher authorities were present in the meeting, including our very own founder, Achutya Samantha. At some point in the meeting, they allowed us to turn on our mics and ask any of our doubts, so naturally all of us stated only one thing, We want fee reduction. One student explained on behalf of all of us about the difficulties parents are facing because of this lockdown, and it would be very difficult for them to pay such hefty fees, and moreover we weren't even using any hostel facilities, so charging for that as well does not make any sense. After patiently listening to all this, KIIT Founder, Achutya Samantha said, and I quote, " Do you want your fee reduction, or do you want your campus placements ". The student raising our concerns said, " But sir, it's becoming difficult for us to pay this fees, so right now fee reduction is what we want". And to this, our respected founder sir said, " So you will not be allowed for your campus placements. we will reduce your fees alright, but don't sit for the campus placements for this college". And this was our Kiit founder, Achutya Samantha, I even have video proof of this, if you want I can provide it for you. All I wanted to do was raise this serious concern, Yes guys don't think about joining this college if you think that the fees they charge you will be returned as they provide good placements. NO NO NO. Placements are very mediocre, not at all worth paying 20 lakhs! Go for any other cheap college, nowadays your degree doesn't matter at all, all that matters is your skills. Join a decent and cheap college, and prove your worth by working hard. Trust me on this one guys, you can read all the positive reviews you want about this college on quora or any other site(most of them are spammed by the authorities itself), But this video right here, is by far the closest to the most honest review about this college.
Its a very expensive for middle class students the study is excellent but the fees they are demanding is too high I also want to study their but after knowing the fee in 2018 I change my mind.. I know I sounds rubbish but this is the truth as I am from odisha that's why I know the ground reallity

If u have time to read full... Then read this... This is the most practical thing that i am about to say... In the video it is said that 70% companies give package < 5 lakhs... But this is just a statistical figure... U don't know about the inner process. The thing is in KIIT-- Mechanical, ECE and CSE branches are high demanding and good enough. During placements, almost 70-80% companies are non-core(IT) companies...on Day 0, big companies with high package come in KIIT... And the students with cgpa >8.5 are placed with avg package 7-8 lakhs and some more too...All the cse and good ece students take their placements in these companies with high package... On day 1, the avg students with cgpa 6/7 sit in placements for mass recruiting companies and the good students don't even sit for these companies... This is even less on day 2...And moreover if all the good students with cgpa 8.5/9 and above getting placed in IT companies with good package... Then why will they sit for other core companies (for ece and mechanical)...this is the reason that core branch placement in kiit is lower than expected... And since most avg students get placed on day 1, that's why the avg package is 4.5-5 lpa...So the thing is if all good students go to IT companies then Avg placement of core will be generally low... So the final word is if u can study consistently for 4 yrs... U don't need to worry about placements...😄😄😄 P.S. --( Many good core companies also come here like Deloitte, Ericsson, Mu Sigma, Direct-i, HP, Intel, Samsung, Robert Bosch, Cisco etc etc...All this info is true coz my own uncle's son is studying there and also many of my father's employees' son/daughters...)

Fyi, KIIT is the 1st University in India to start full fledged online classes for all years... Even the freshers' batch. All the sem exams have been completely conducted through online mode.

@@suhanimaitra3144 I gave KIITEE Phase 1 exam and got CCE, but I didn't take it beacuse ultimately you have to take Off-Campus placement so giving 18 lakhs is not worth it. Instead take admission in CSE in any college and focus on skills, bulid connection with great people on LinkedIn.

I am from kiit.. the Kiit University is spread over 700 acres i.e 2.832 square kilo meter. The Kiit University is divided into 4 block East,West,North and South block. 20 campus.. not only one Jo dikhraheho.. Jo bheeg hoga bolrahe..completely WiFi connected 20 campuses but no of campuses are increasing day by day Get it.. Here are the insights the engineering,MBA,NIFT,Artitecture are located in a single block and this block is the most beautiful part of Kiit campus.
Listen you have to give entrance exam first which ever course you want to join .. after result you can join in management quota .. you can fill the form then talk main office how can you get admission .. if admission session is going on then they will tell you the process then it ll be done we can.. it's very easy

Bro I'm from bhubaneswar and I honestly tell you that if you want to fun like that movie student of year then you can chose it. If you want to go for actual study purposes then I would not suggest you. First of all high fee charges, not that mark of education quality that charges from you and placement was not so good; average. So be careful before you go to this collage.

Yes u can say if the average salary is 6 lpa then why should... we spend 17 lacs rs.. in kiit... bt bro. Every hostel mein generator backup hota hai jo ki in the rarest occasion jab power cut ho bhi jata hoga to chalta hai. Plus haven't your CONTACTS told you about how pleasant it gets in bbsr during evening? The sky looks gorgeous and it is extremely windy as a result which majority of the students don't opt for ac accommodations.

main v kiit ka medical dept mai se hu.. almost har chiz sahi hai lekin power cut wala issues bilkul nhi hai,, if kavi v power cut hota hai to generator hai to with in 2 mins ajata hai.. Bro... I am a final year engineering student in this university. The harsh reality is that maximum placement offers take place in CSE department and the rest branches placement strategy is running in negative position.

His information regarding placements is not true. And average package is 6.5 lakh. And latest highest package is 30 lakh by Amazon. And a good student can crack more than 10 lakh easily ,if he study properly. Also there are diff types of scholarships. Poor and needy students got it easily

HONEST REVIEW !!! 18 lakh fees happens this year. Mine was 16 (depending upon what you opt for hostel) . Placement stats are better than local college

And the students with cgpa >8.5 are placed with avg package 7-8 lakhs and some more too...All the cse and good ece students take their placements in these companies with high package... On day 1, the avg students with cgpa 6/7 sit in placements for mass recruiting companies and the good students don't even sit for these companies... This is even less on day 2...And moreover if all the good students with cgpa 8.5/9 and above getting placed in IT companies with good package... Then why will they sit for other core companies (for ece and mechanical)...this is the reason that core branch placement in kiit is lower than expected... And since most avg students get placed on day 1, that's why the avg package is 4.5-5 lpa...So the thing is if all good students go to IT companies then Avg placement of core will be generally low... So the final word is if u can study consistently for 4 yrs... U don't need to worry about placements...😄😄😄
P.S. --( Many good core companies also come here like Deloitte, Ericsson, Mu Sigma, Direct-i, HP, Intel, Samsung, Robert Bosch, Cisco etc etc...All this info is true coz my own uncle's son is studying there and also many of my father's employees' son/daughters...)

Fyi, KIIT is the 1st University in India to start full fledged online classes for all years... Even the freshers' batch. All the sem exams have been completely conducted through online mode.

the Kiit University is spread over 700 acres i.e 2.832 square kilo meter. The Kiit University is divided into 4 block East,West,North and South block. 20 campus.. not only one Jo dikhraheho.. Jo bheeg hoga bolrahe..completely WiFi connected 20 campuses but no of campuses are increasing day by day Get it.. Here are the insights the engineering,MBA,NIFT,Artitecture are located in a single block and this block is the most beautiful part of Kiit campus.
Listen you have to give entrance exam first which ever course you want to join .. after result you can join in management quota .. you can fill the form then talk main office how can you get admission .. if admission session is going on then they will tell you the process then it ll be done we can.. it's very easy
