- The second part of the Anime Nostalgia Series is "Moonlight Densetsu", the first opening of the first season of Sailor Moon.
Yes, I admit, I also watched Sailor Moon (although widely regarded as a "girls show" back then).
Still, this is my first trip into the Magical Girl Series, and I still can remember all the names of the Sailor warriors. My favorite couple are Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune, because they were SO badass.
Also, very delighted to hear, there will be a new Sailor Moon Project in the near future, I can't wait to see the Sailor Warriors gloriously animated with a complete new (?) story.
The third and last part of the Anime Nostalgia series is Digimon, another series I loved when I was young (and I still love it until today)

Okay, so this is kind of ridiculously impressive. A small part of me wants to hate it, because amazing pianists always make me feel inadequate, but seriously. SO IMPRESSIVE. Both the playing and the arrangement.

I play the violin and to me keeping control of how fast and slow my bow goes and which way while also fingering the notes correctly is really easy but watching your hands play two completely different melodies at the same time is so confusing >_< You must be very skilled

I play the piano and I can confirm that playing two different melodies can be super annoying, and because i usually play by ear sometimes i have to just sit for like ten minutes and think 'wait.. I'm so confused..'
But maybe it's easier for more skilled pianists 🤷♂️😭

Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball Z are the ones that got me into anime. They're like the probably some of the best known anime. The way I see it was that they were the King and Queen of anime, classic anime that everyone has at least heard of. Probably watched each episode over nine thousand times.

Animenz is truly a musical genius by incorporating pop into classical. I mean it honestly sounds much better with the improvisation than just playing from the actual sound track. It was this song that made me like moonlight densetsu so much!

Great use of thematic material in introduction! Perfectly builds the suspense and drama before the main theme kicks in. Ornaments are not intrusive, you wove them into the material naturally and with your usual fine execution. Bravo Animenz!

KendyCakes yes!! I watched it in English when I was kid and thought it was ok. Just finished all 200 episodes in Japanese on Hulu and the show is just better, more mature, and meaningful in Japanese. The English version really dumbed it down. Also, the opening theme is much more meaningful and sad in Japanese than the English translation.
KendyCakes The DiC dub doesn't even have 200 episodes because a lot of episodes aren't G-rated.

As I was a Young Child (very long ago.. :,D ) My Grandfather gave me to my 11. Birthday the Locket witch could Play the Moonlight Densetsu. Not very long after that he Passet away, and its very Strange but this song now dosent reminds me of Sailor Moon it reminds me of him. I lost the Locket as a Child so.. This one is the first Piano version i realy realy fell in Love with! Hopefully my Fingers are abel to play that . Thank you so so mutch!! Sorry my English isnt that good ..
