I love this bottle for camping, it's definitely not bright enough to read by but it glows enough that I can find it at night.
One note, this is made of Nalgene's Triton plastic (like the clear and colored transparent bottles), it's noticeably heavier than the old-style translucent HDPE bottles (177.3 g compared to 106.3 for the HDPE).

I really wanted one but it doesn't glow nearly as much as I wanted it to. Barely glows at all.

I guess I kinda don't understand the point. I need to shine a flashlight into it in order for it to glow? Why not just use my flashlight? I thought it glowed all by itself and that'd be cool. I guess if you put a headlamp around it so continual light was in it and it could be hands free, it'd be cool.

@@meangrindmachine744 - I've had mine for at least 3 years and I've never noticed a problem with the flavor.

    Newsflash :
It's not "Really" glow in the dark .... It just reflects light, because you'd have to use a torch to actually even see it?! 😅 Peace

It is glow in the dark. I don't know why this guy's bottle is going dark so quickly, most likely cause of weird camera lighting things or because he's using a torch to 'charge' it for a short period of time instead of a better light for a longer period of time, but I have this bottle and it stays lit up for quite a while after you turn the lights off. As he said it's not going to be enough to read off or light up the room but it'll be very easy to find in the dark and that's all you could really expect from a water bottle.
